      Water Temp: 62-66

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I fished the past 2 Saturdays in a row at Hensley and 10 to 12 fish per rod are possible. The water is very stained and tough to see if there are any beds. Most bass were caught in the 5's on main points using chartuese shad ripbaits (a few on ghost minnow too). They are all small buck bass and the biggest was 1.5 lbs or so. The coves had fewer fish and senkos, dropshot, and jigs worked well. Fish on the points are anywhere from 1 to 15ft of water. The Carp spawn has slowed during the past week and only a few are up on the shore getting it on or fighting or whatever those nasty things do.

      Water Temp: 54o

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Gold Coast Bass Meet -- 17 boats - VERY cold start today with a cold front that moved in over the past day and a half. Biting breeze at times with gloves the common rule. Finally took off my coat at about 1PM when the sun peaked in. But it sure shut off the bite today. Some so-so bags at the scales with a 4.50+ taking big fish and 13 and change taking home the cash. Pretty meager day for most including our boat. Senko's seem to have been the hitter today. Did get a tag on a swim but no keeper. Cachuma is next on 24 May. As for the inspections --- Give this Lake a thumbs up to the lake personnel. They weathered the cold morning and did a great job of getting everyone in and fishing. Still a little slow but BE PATIENT --- Wait your turn and follow directions and it will go a lot EZier for everyone.

Report: My partner and I made it through the inspection the inspection is not bad just make sure your boat is dry and you have nothing to worry about. We launched at about 7:00A.M started off on main lake points picked up a few keepers on plastics and chatter baits then we went up wittenberg arm nothing so we ran down to lopez arm and picked up a few more I broke off a big one but had fun.
      City: Taft

Tips: We had to fish slow i think there was a cold front that came through so we had a tough bite but fish slow in about 15" foot of water.

Report: Beautiful Day out on the water, temps reached 90! lots of other boats both fishing and skiing. Boated 8 fish, thought I would have done better, site fished a few off docks, most fish were suspended under docks on the shady side, senkos and roboworms on a shaky head were key.
      City: SLO

Tips: If you can hit the right spot and are patient you can get the bed fish to bite, however I think Naci is starting towards the end of the spawn...good luck

      Water Temp: 57 - 59 Degrees

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished Castaic last Friday, weather was pretty warm all day. Wind came up about 8:30 a.m. out of the east. Gusty. Had no luck at all in the ski arm. Did pretty good in the fishing arm. Ended up with 7 fish 1 - 3 lbers (approx 11 lbs total). Picky bite on mojo rig and oxblood worms.
      City: Oak Park

Tips: Try to get on this bite if you can. Fish are not that big and I don't think that oxblood worm bites are any news flash at this lake. Hey, I'm just a day off hacker up here. I don't fish tournaments. Just some news for fellow hackers.

      Have FUN !!

Report: Very nice weather . Good fishing but bad catching. One large mouth bout 1 1/2 lbs. tried everything I had. Very slow day but the lake is beautiful right now. That alone is worth the two hour trip . NOTE!!!! They checked out my boat on the way in for the guagga muscle. And on the way out they said next time they will pressure wash my boat. OK with me if , it's free. So make sure your boat ,trailer, live well are DRY.

      Water Temp: 55-58

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: well sadly no one on here was able to leave me a tip about fishing this lake...

i did make the trip out there, the bite was hard to come buy for me and the wind on friday was pretty tough, sat and sun were much better but the bite was still tough

i mainly work spinners and landed a few on white/chartuse but nothing on worms nore jigs

talked to a few other bass guys they said they were having it hard out there too...

people were catching them on live baits, maybe i should of work the jigs and worms a bit longer and harder! also tried drop shot a little for nada!

if you are new to this lake be ready to learn how to fish with wind almost got pushed up agiansta steep all shoreline, luckly my net was readyly handy and a few hard push agianst the wall allowed mt to rush ot my trolling motor and power away if not for that i would of had a unwanted suvineer from the lake...

Tips: mark alot of fish holding in the 20-25 foot of water seems like they will come shallow to feed in schools... spinner first then if no action go right to your jigs and worms for slow presentation - thats what i wish i would of done more of

Report: Well figured I would run down and check the lake out.Have not been down here in a long time.Well I got there about 6:30am and there was a club tourny going on.So I launched ahead of them but man was the fog thick just on the lake.So I started out at the ramp and threw cranbait's and top water, nothing.Well it started to lift and all the tourny guy's ran up lake so I fished the cove with the ski pylon's.Finally picked up four spot's on crankbait all 16" spot's.Then started thrownig a 6" motor oil worm Texas rigged.Picked up a few rat's so switched to casting out and working uphill and cought probably 20 more all spot's.Seem's the bite has picked up here but no White bass.Lake is not as full as I thought it would be and man the pleasure boat's came out around noon. This place is going to be down right deadly come Summer.
      City: Salinas

Tips: Go while you can, crankbait's in am switch to plastic's later and fish uphill.
