Report: This could be a very good week for this lake to pick up on the fishing. bass are in the 13 to 15 inch range 1 to 2 1/2 pound range with a few going to 3 pounds. Brown jigs with watermelon yamamoto single tail grubs are working around rock piles and long points with deeper water near by. Brushogs jigs dropsoht are all working so pick one and fish slow and again pick and area you like and say with it these bass will hit. 15 to 30 feet are your best depths to fish here.
      City: kerman ca

Tips: Warmer weather might put some bass up shallow so take your pick on what lake to hit there both going to have some fish hiting well. Good luck if you need more info e mail here be glad to help.

Report: The Bass classics had there first tournament of the year and it was great we had 26 fishermen and 22 had there limit. The better fish were caught deep in the river on rocky stuff and cuts in the bank. Mostly on spider grubs but everyone caught them on all kinds of baits. The bite was a little tough in our boat but I managed 9.25 lbs for my limit and it was only good enough for 19th place. It was foggy in the morning till 10 and there was a little color in the water near the ramp. They had 5 other clubs fishing also so a ton of boats. In third place with 12.15 lbs was Chris Lee he said he had most of his fish on a green pumpkin spider grub on a 3/8 or 1/2 oz. football heads and on a brown jig. He kept the boat in 20-40 ft and the fish were in 10-20 most of the time. Most were along the sides of walls in the small cuts up river and also on rocky flats with structure on them. In second place with 12.30 was Scott Chong and he was doing the same as Chris. In first place with the big fish a 3.30 lber was J.R. Taylor with 14.35 lbs. He said he caught his quality fish up river also on steep rock and on the inside of cuts. The better fish came on spider grubs in 8-15 ft of water. The water was muddy up there but they were more active and better size then the rest of the lake.
      City: Fremont

Tips: Stay with spider grubs and fish steep rocky cuts in the bank from 8-20 ft.

Report: Theres a fair bite on bass to 2 pounds rock piles & drop offs are you best bets. brown 3/8oz football jigs w/twin or single tail yamamato grubs in watermelon or watermealon /red& black flake work very well. Bass are in 15 to 30 feet of water. long points are a good spot to catch some nice bass also thats and over looked spot when fishing this lake. Try fishing both side of the points by setting on top of the points in about 8 to 10 feet of water and throwing into depper water. Swim your jigs slowly on the bottom making contact and the bite is lite if you feel the rod tip load up good bet there a fish on.
