    Report: 1st time on float tube, fished with hunter and dad. we caught three altogether, two 3's and one that was puny. Not bad for a pouring day.

    Report: went fishing at ol almaden, nothing either a hit or a miss, a month ago i went here a caught one and my buddy got one. usually use spinnerbaits and red cranks and jigs

    Tips: stick to deep water access, there are crawdads in this lake so think about that, smaller sized shad.

    Report: Nada, got skunked. For some reason, it is hard to catch bass from this lake. I caught a 5.7lber on Tex rigged watermelon/red flake Baby Brush Hog and two one to 1 1/2 pounders on dropshotting with Robo Worms six weeks ago. I saw many bass fishermen last year but not this year. My all time favorite bait, Senko, didn't work here.

    Report: had a great day i you consider 11 trout all under a pound being cought in under an hour.it kinda helps when they plant that morning.all were cought in a 1-2 eet o water on a gold 1/4 ounce kastmaster.

    Report: well i went out to try my luck again this morning.it started out bad when i went to pick up my buddy but be had a late night.went to loma ,and ater the irst ew minutes i had 2 ish and anither bite.the next 4 hours zip,zero,nada.ant to top it all o i got a ticket rom a cop or not having a ishing permit.

    Report: On Wednesday I made a last minute decision to go over to Del Valle. On the water by 9:00 and o by 12:30. The water level has been drawn down, so the East end is very shallow, 2'-4'. I did manage to pick up a pair o 3 lb ish split shot a ry and missed 2 more. They were in about 10' and on wood. I also tried a spinnerbait, black&blue jig and a senko with no luck. It was a beautiul day and it cured that itch or a bite. A group o us have let one o the Bass clubs in the area and now 10 o us are meeting in the area to ish monthly "pick up" tournaments. We have a tournament schedule that I can send you, points are being earned and tracked, but there are no dues at this point and our meetings are social.     Tips: Fish only the high percentage areas, points, wood, humps, channel... Find a ishy looking spot and hold on it, work it slow. Then go to the next spot and eliminate the dead water in between.

    Report: The quality o ish in this lake is outstanding. Between mon and weds last week we had 6 ish over 7lbs and 1 over nine. On ri I did a guide trip and we had 1 9lber and a ew missed stripers oppurtunities on the big baits.I moved back rom the Delta a couple months ago and have been shinning this lake on a little, what a mistake. I am a licensed guide and typically guide a ew private lakes and pyramid, castaic and San Vicente. This will now be on my list o available lakes.

    Report: Great day on the watyer...caught over 30 bass in 4 hours with the largest 4# on a spinner bait! That one was caught by Richard P....we caugrt the rest o them on a drop shot rig in the back o a cove. The shad was gathering up in the grass and so was the bass. We got some really nice ish in the creek chanel right on the edge o the grass line. No top water and just a ew on a crank bait.

    Report: Fished out o Russo's marina. Fished along the tules and weed edges at high tide - missed a couple and got one 4.5 pounder on a brushhog with 3/8 oz jig. ished the rest o the day driting through Franks Tract - caught 10 or so ish along weed edges on a 1/2 oz white and chart blade, had a ollow right to the boat by a big ol' bass, maybe eight pounds. threw everything at him but couldn't convince him to bite. A nice day on the Delta.

    Tips: The water seemd unusually clear - slearer than my last trip 4 days earlier. don't know how that aected the bote or even i it did.
