Report: The warm weather has pushed some o the 1-3lb. male ish up on the bank, 1-3eet. The larger emale ish I ound were out in the 6-15 eet o water. I threw a hal ounce shad colored spinnerbait and slow-rolled it rom the bank down to about 15 eet. I cought ish all day doing this. I also used a carolina rig with a "caliornia worm" in the 082 color. the 082 is a purple worm with a neon blue vain in it. The bigger ish came on this worm at about 9:30 in the morning. This is when the bight really started. I ished a grub in the smoke shad color and just killed the spots, most about 1lb. but they were un. I ished up river adout hal way between horseshoe and bagby. The bigger ish were on steep, rocky banks. goodluck on your next outing...
    City: merced

Tips: Use plastics, I preer the "caliornia worm" in the 082 color, also try the greenweenie colors, they are always good. I also cought ish on a shad colored spinnerbait. A salt and pepper grub will catch a lot o ish, mainly spots and about 1 pound, but they were plentiul and on.

Report: I ished rom 7am till 2pm. Caught 15-20 ish. Most came on brown jigs. The deeper staging ish I caught on the drop shot. This was the irst time I have had success doing the drop shot. It was un hitting these deeper ish on the head. Watch your electronics and keep your drop shot ready. Each time I would see a ish on the graph, I would drop down and watch my bait all. Most bites came very quick. My advice would be to move the bait as little as possible. No reaction ish or me. I had 3 ish hit a luke, but missed it. The ishing seemed to have slowed or some reason. It only took around 11lbs to win the BASS Fed. tournament on Sunday.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Keep trying the reaction baits and jigs. Leave the split shot rod at home.
