Report: Thought I would ind a good blade bite with the overcast and approaching ront - no such luck. Fished the main-lake islands, Mormon and Bear rom noon to ive. Seven in the boat with 4 keepers, all largies. Used Baby Hogs in water/red, 4" magic worms in green craw and 082/red. All keepers came rom 12 to 18'. Short top-water bite in standing trees in back o coves - only wanted ull-size spooks but were too small to take the hooks.
City: SonoraTips: Water temps vary considerably now. Main lake in ront o dam at 56 while back o west-acing coves 62-64. Water so clear that longer casts and horizontal retrieves needed. Saw a ew beds but no one home!!

Report: Fished saturday and caught approx. 12 ish, most o them were small but I did managed to get a 3lb laregemouth and a 2 lb spot. Fish came rom 15-20 t. and caught them dropshotting. Didn't see any beds or cruising ish. Fished main lake points.

Report: Fished 10 am to 1:30 pm just south o Tuttletown. 4 bass to 17" (about 3 lb) on 6" plum colored/glitter worm, carolina rigged. Many other bites and hook sets let me with hal worms! Probably dinks. Broke o a good sized one.DANG.

Report: Today was perect ishing weather.Light misty rain and lat water or most o the day.Fished with two wonderul people today,Roger Williams and Kathy Kendrick o Oakdale.We were greeted by 55 degree morning temps which sugested a shallow bite.Well we got into an area between the bridges that had numerous spots going into spawn.Ater taking several ish drop shottin, we went to lukes and t-rigged worms and caught alot o ish.The bite keeping us in the same general area or over our hours.No real big ones yet,but alot o nice quality ish.Should be wide open this weekend.

Report: Found the ish all week to be o and on.The ishing is ready to break wide open.Periods o some days red hot and others totaly dead.Hey, thats spring ishing.Not near has predictable as winter.Fished Anglers Choice today and weighed a nice bag o 12.53. My excellent partner, Joe Bruce, really put the better ones in the bag today.The unny thing was that are good ish were males.Drop shotting caught all our ish today.

Report: This was my irst time on this lake. We had a club tourney scheduled today but the weather made our launching too risky. Our tourney was cancelled but I decided to wait out the storm and by 9:30 am the weather started to clear up. It turned out to be a beautiul day.Caught 2 spots and 2 largemouth in 30t. o water on dropshots (arrons magic). The ish bit in the evening aroung 5:00 pm and I caught them north o the bridge. At dusk I moved to the bridge and switched to a 10 inch black power worm. I cast it shallow and started to shake it and hooked into a huge ish. Ater a great ight, I boated my personal best..... a 12.7# beauty.What a great lake.
City: morgan hillTips: Rocky drop os near standing timber or the dropshot ish. A big one was cruisin the shore in the evening.

Report: On the water at 10:00 ater getting the snow o my boat.Bite was much slower than this weekend.I think the ront moved them around.Though the size was better.Managed a nice spot on a blade and a 4+ black on a jig...Five other keepers to 3 lbs on the drop....35 to 50 eet.O the water at three(rain and cold)

Report: Fished rom 7 am to 2:30 p.m.. Hit Coyote Creek irst split shotting green pumpkin baby brush hogs or one keeper spot and two dinks. Hit the dam area split shotting a green weenie 4" worm or one 14" largemouth and inished o in Bear Creek catching a 14" spot on a split shot watermelon w/red lake baby Brush hog. Son lost a 3+ using a shad pattern curly tail grub on a darter head. Fish came rom 7' to 30'.
City: DelhiTips: Fish are still scattered but most bites came rom main lake or secondary points. Our keepers came split shotting.

Report: Man it sure was cold out there when that rain came through.But the ish were biteing so I tued it out.Bite was the best beore the storm.14 keepers today to 4 1/2 pounds.Fish are still on the same stu ,so I guess I will keep stickin' em..I love this lake.Best winter here in a long time.

Report: Started ishing at about 1300 hrs.. Started ishing points leading into spawning coves and picked up 3 spots drop shotting rom 1.5 to 2.5 lbs at 35 t. . Checked other locations with negative results. I then had boat trouble at about 1500 hrs. and had to call it a day. Fishing seems to be picking up with the warm days.

Report: Went out today with my brother and Dave Hill.It was not red hot ,but steady.Did ind some ish a little shallower today.Seventeen ish in the the boat.All drop shot but one nice largie on a jig.

Report: Back at it around 9:30.Went in search o some more (productive)deep cover.Lake was like glass, perect or deep water probing.On my third spot I was rewarded.Four nice ish.Two blacks,one spot and a chunky spot-red eye cross.Serched about a dozen more spots and ound two more with ish.Nine keepers or the day all on the main lake at 35 eet.

Report: Hit the water at 7:15.Noticed that the temp had dropped two degrees.It was very cold so I headed or the west banks.Tried rippin or 45 minutes and to keep warm.Nada on the rip.Headed or a point and threw the big jig.Nailed a chunky three right o.One more jig bite than zip.Headed back into angels creek and got hit hard ive times on the drop shot at 40 eet.Missed two and the other three wrapped me.Played around until 11:30 and still one ish.Decided to head up the river.The lake was like glass so I stopped to hit a deep lat on the way.Good choice.Seven keepers(6 largies) and two trout.All ish at 35 on the drop.Went up past the bridge amd got one more spot split shotting.

Report: Been doing well at Folsom recently, but decided to hit Melones. Launched out o Tuttletown and went up river to Dead Russian Bay beore the og cleared. Caught a ew dink spots on AFARR Jigs.Late in the day we went up North Bay and into Angels Cove. Caught a 5 pounder on AFARR Jig with hula skirt and a bobble-head trailer.
City: DavisTips: AFARR Jigs, 3/8 oz, smokey blue with red lake, 30 to 40 eet o rock pilings.

Report: Got out a little earlier today.Started rippin at 7:30 and tried or a hour just one lash.Finally got bit on a spider jig in 30 eet but just lat missed him.9:30 went back to the deep stu trying some new locations.On my third spot a put down the trolling motor and they were stacked up right under me.Got ive solid 2-3lbers and lost a good 4 at the boat.Ten minutes o urious action and then they were gone.The rest o the day was tough.Three more keepers and only two shorts.All bites were at exactly ity eet.Stayed between the bridges.

Report: Went back up river today.Hit the lake at 11:30 and the og was pouring in.Was windy until the og stabilized.Tried the jigs or about a hour and no takers.Seems that the ish are dropping back down and are much less aggessive.Went to the drop shot and started getting ish right away.They are a liitle deeper now .Better ish coming 45 to 55.Had alot o bites, but only seven keepers and about twenty shorts.Four spots,three largies.The best was about 2 1/4.

Report: Hit the water at 12:30.Decided to go south today.Started jigging on some rocky points but not takers.Went back to the drop shot and picked up a largie at 35.Went to a gut I like that has wood and submerged miloil.Nailed a nice at 2 1/2 black on the drop at 20.Went to similer cover and got bit, except now they were 2 pound crappie.Made a move to check out Mormon.Ater some searching I inally ound the ish a 37 eet in dense wood.Picked up three more largies to 2 1/4 pounds.

Report: Fished monday and launched out o Tuttletown ished the Mormon Creek area. Caught 4 ish 2 largemouth and 2 spots. Caught ish on twin tail skirted grubs and drop shotting 4 in. worms. Fish were caught 30 to 35 eet. All hits were very light only pressure bites.
