    Water Temp: 64-71

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: This is the time we all wait for if you like non stop action. You can expect 75- 100 fish days with most of the bass being post spawn now but still getting a lot of overs. Yesterdays clients had 7 over up to 3 1/2 lbs. Many are still on brush and debree while others are on walls and points. Most of the bass are coming from 5ft, to 15 to 20 ft. Top water is picking up and blades and reaction also. Any type of worm, senko, tube, drop shot is working. Colores don,t seem to matter to much right now and size is not a big factor as well.
    City: Paradise

Tips: this is the time to get out there and have some fun!!

    Water Temp: cold to touch

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: First off I want to apoligize for jitterbugs comments. Guess law is 3 lures per one line/reel/rod (cali rig). I wouldn't know cause I'm stuck in my hard headed ways of fishing off the bottom. Even though latley I've thought about throwing a reaction bait. We hit it hard last week with little results. Stained water has been the best. Then cover, points, water run offs. Mostly the stained water has to be there or its a ghost town. I think jitterbug is just sour cause he can't catch any fish until they spawn. Good thing is all fish have been big and fat. 15 1/4 spotty one quick release one broken hook tie one worm bit in half and two didn't try to set the hook. When they do hit they are hitting it hard and fast. No second chance bites either.
    City: palermo

Tips: Normaly I say its better to wait and set the hook. In winter conditions I think I'm leaning towards that it is better to set the hook and miss than not set it at all.

Report: Hey guys still catching fish. Water moving up fast making it a little tougher, about 30 feet from crest. If you got any old fishing holes in mind nows the time to hit em up. Rabbi caught 20" spotty and jitterbug is finally on the board, caught it on the reel in.
    City: palermo

Tips: A lot of those christmas trees are now under water. That's where we been getting most of our bites.

    Water Temp: 58

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We went back to Oroville today and again did very well. Between my partner and I we had 12 over the slot with 1 spot over 17 inches and 2 largemouth over 3 lbs. Best five over 12 pounds.
Between the 2 of us, we took around 40 fish. We found most of them in the 20 to 40 foot range on 4 inch worms and 1/16 oz Texas Rig. Had a couple of bumps on jigs, but no takers. We also caught a few on Dart heads. Most of the fish on steep points in Middle fork and just of the main body. We did see a couple of fish busting bait on top late in the day, but no luck with topwater.

    Tips: Slow and deep.

Report: To those who don't have a season parking pass,Watch out for the new machine at Lime Saddle that is used to collect your fees. It took my 9 bucks and didn't spit out a slip. I then knocked on the front of it to see if it was maybe stuck and the thing started going off like I was robbing a bank or something. So use the yellow envelopes to save yourself the "JOY" of using the new technology.

    Water Temp: 59-67

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Last Thursday the 8th took a couple of great guys out for afternoon-eve. trip and had a great time . Lots of bass in the bracket with 5 over. Showed them how to use tubes, senko's and to spot bedding bass. They got pretty excited watching the bass gaurd their beds. On the 13th took a father son team out mid morning to mid afternoon and found the bite to really turn on. About 70+ bass for the half day but with only two over. The main key was to go with darker colors in the tubes and senko's. Green pumpkin and watermelon were the best colors.
    City: Paradise

Tips: Walls and points outside coves proved to be the feeding areas for the bass.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: yeah i went with joe daddy and he schooled me as usual-of course dont ask him who has the biggest spot and biggest largemouth out of oroville between us-i got him covered on that but he definitely has me out slotted by a very large margin so say what you will-as far as spinner baits go-i caught a nice 18inch post spawner one time at dusk on a big chartrues spinner with a red eye and a chartrues colorado blade by a bush on some rocks on a drop off-just let the spinner drop where i thought a fish was and it ambushed the fallin spinner-pretty cool getting to see how fast that spot jumped from his rocky cover to attack the fluttering spinnerbait and engulf it- as far as catchin a spot on a spinner during the spawn-good luck on that ill stick with some bottom baits-
    City: Palermo/Oroville whatever

Tips: put the right bait on a bed and you'll really piss off those slotty spottys!

Report: Report from Monday. Fished all day for big numbers as usual using Robos in all colors. Top water in shaded areas. Dad and I started off in the upper end of the middle fork and spent the afternoon/evening in the north fork. Lot's of wildlife sightings today, including a bear swimming across the NF... We watched him make it across then amble up the hillside. Beautiful day. Vaughn

Tips: Almost anything works right now. Fish bit all day. Match your tackle to the size of the fish and have fun.

    Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: TO the guy with the nice boat who cant catch fish. (NO OFFENSE), Oroville is probably the easiest lake in california to catch large numbers of fish on any given day. Try two methods and stick with them until you learn how to catch em'. 1) 3/16 oz. Darthead with 6" robo-worm in Oxblood, Aarons magic, margarita mutilator, prizm shad. also use a drop shot with the same colors. Try backing off the fish a bit, if the boats in 4-6 ft your way too close, put the boat as far from the shore as you can while still being able to reach with your casts. hope this helps!!

    Water Temp: high 40's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: First visit to the lake since july. Got a late start, about 9 am. Dropshot a fish or two about 40 ft and then started throwing a jig and picked up several more. Missed several and got another on a dart head. I believe I shall switch from 1/8 oz to 3/16 as It is too hard to control and maintain contact. One keeper for the day. Alas, I fear I should have stayed out of the south fork and concentrated on main body. It never stopped raining all day and my partners snow gear soaked through by 11 am. He was done for. He did catch one on a weightless senko in 30 feet............oh my god that is too deep to fish a weightless bait!!!!!!
