Water Temp: Cold
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the far west end (West side of walking bridge)of the pond behind the main lake. I fished senko's (watermelon/pumpkin/red/green with flakes and without), Brushhog's and tubes ...all for nothing. Not even a bite. Oh well, I know I'll get one next time. Not hooking up at the Cliffs is a rare occasion.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out on Sat to try out my new float tube and neoprene waders. I headed for the back pond and Had 4 in about an hour, best went 3.5 then I went over the hill and went to the main lake and got 10 on a dropshot, best about 3lb no monsters for me. I did see one chase my swimbait but would not eat it she looked to be about 10 plus.
City: San LeandroTips: For me I had to fish real slow, the fish were not overly aggressive.

Report: dudeman, that tap was probably the bottom dude. I read these reports often and can't help but laugh at your attempts man, you sound like a mess out there. But keep up you efforts, it will get better, drop shotting a plastic wackey style will usually produce fish , but if its muddy like it was last weekend, you have to drop the bait on their nose to maybe get a hit. Muddy water is not a bass anglers best friend! good luck
City: PleasantonTips: they don't stock those back ponds w/ bass, so catch them, admire them, take a picture with them, but let tham go back and get fat and happy!

Water Temp: cold
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: First day of the season, and it turned out to be a good one. The weather was nice and hot, and had been for the week prior. I float tubed the west end of the perc ponds behind the main lake. I caught 2 bass within an hour and a half. One of them was in the middle of cove, under a downed tree. It was a small 1.5lber. The other was right near shore in less than 2ft of water under a log. I saw it roll over, which made a huge splash

Water Temp: 55-58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went out to the island pond with my bro...kickboats, no oars. First time we have fished this pond in years as we usually fish the lower pond. We ended up with three each. All fish were 2-3#, all healthy and fat. Caught pitching senko's, jigs, and reapers to wood. Only one came off tules.
City: Santa CruzTips: Get the bait WAY back there; most fish were holding tight to shore in cover. Practice catch & release.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Sorry about the faulty tip(no pun intended)! It's been awhile since I repaired a rod tip, but the person who said NO SUPER GLUE, is right. If I remember correctly, the super glue might not even want to dry amongst the fiberglass. All ya need is a lighter to glue that sucker on. Again, sorry about the bad info.
City: OaklandTips: bASSHOLE, cool. See ya Sunday!
(Just got back from Chabot... 0 fish.)

Report: Dudeman, a tip for fixing your rod tip. Super glue is a BAD idea, as it will eventually eat through the graphite. Instead, put some mono inside the new tip before you place it on the end of your rod. Place the rod tip on the end making sure it fits snuggly. Then take a lighter and melt the tip on there, making sure you dont burn the graphite. It has worked for me, hope that helps!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: dudeman, if you can't take the rod back, it's an easy fix. Depending on where the tip broke, you will lose that much length, but just buy a new tip, super glue it on, and that's it. It's the other eyelets aside from the tip that are harder to repair. Also, you might want to sand down the area where you will be applying the new tip. Good luck!
City: OaklandTips: Hey bASSHOLE, we're about due for a tubin' trip! I've been stockin' up on worms!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: there are buttloads of crawdads in the main lake as well as the arroyo, the trick is to match the color because they change when they molt and that happens during specific times of the year.
