Report: Orwood Launch both days early AM. Foggy Monday so stayed inside discovery Bay or irst 2 hours without a hit. ished avorite rip rap just outside o disco and had plenty o action on outgoing tide w/cranks (shad) to 3.5#. Over to holland cut and ound birds, baitish and blacks. action was urious or 30 minutes. 11 total in a small area using cranks - all keepers 13" to 3#.Action slowed both days ater 11am. when tide turned to incoming crankbaits were dead but roboworms and MGM worms did the trick along same rip-rap, island points and drops. Even mixed in a ew stripers. Very strong 2 day bite.
City: BrentwoodTips: Natural color crankbaits W/rattles along rip-rap on the outgoing. Parrallel the bank and keep moving. Aarons magic (Robo)& Fall craw (MGM) Island points. & rip rap w/ decent drops. Almost every begginning & end o bends produced ish along the rocks. Fish were a lillte lethargic but were keyed in on cranks. No spnnerbait bite at all.

Report: Bobby Barrack guide trip today rom 6am to 6pm. Chased stripers with pencil poppers and traps all over Franks, Big Break, Sherman, little Franks and around Holland. Boated at least two dozen decent ish, not counting the shakers. My girlriend bested her own record 3 times over with a 10.5, a 14 (wouldn't ya know it, I handed her my rod to untangle her backlash when this one exploded on top) and a 14.8. In the mix were 9 or 10 largies, mostly little guys but my gilrriend stuck three in the 4lb range. Plus I boated three Steelhead rom 2 1/2 to 4 1/4. As always with topwater ishing, we missed a lot o ish. but we saw some toads (a ew looked like 20's) chasing our baits, rolling, swatting and putting on a heart pounding show only to turn away at the last second. What a un day, Bobby really works hard to keep his clients happy and is a great guy to hire i your looking or a Delta guide trip.
City: TRACYTips: We ished shallow water (5t or less) all day long.

It will take you a while to receive the check so dont worry i you havent received anything or a while. You can also call DFG and they will give you a phone number to call. Goodluck

Report: 3 Oregon boys ished Delta or our annual striper trip. Stayed at B&W. Had a great 4 days. Wind drited the weed lines in Franks Tract and mostly burned shad colored 1/2 oz Rattle Traps. Lots o stripers with many 22"-24". Largest was 28". Thur. morning had 7 in 8 casts! Topwatered (Zara Spook) some ish early in the morning. Also several largemouth each day including one that was 5 lbs. Also ished Mildred but all ish were small.
City: Portland OregonTips: Dull colored (smokey joe) Rattle Traps seemed to produce better than bright silver traps as there was no wind and conditions were very calm. Fish the weed lines and the channels between them. Make long casts. Action slowed 10am-3pm. Spooned some stripers in deeper water middle o day. Move around and ind ish (and bait) on depth inder.

Report: Pre-ished and ished the Hook tourney..Saturday was overcast all day, ishing was good considering we had never ished that area o the Delta beore..We launched out o Orwood and headed or Disco Bay..Fished there or about 1.5 hrs catching nothing but dinks..Headed up Old River stopping and ishing several o the islands and numerous tule banks..Still nothing but dinks..Tried buzzers early, then tried cranking and spinners..Caught most ish on Senkos..Tried jigs also, but had no takers..Sunday or the Tourney tried several areas where we at least had caught ish and managed to bring in three keepers (and that is all they were), no size too them at all..Had one that I would have guesstimated at between 6 and 8 pounds ollow a spinner, but didn't hit it..Just took a close look and swam o..Oh well..
City: San Jose, CATips: I don't know what you have to do to catch big ish in this area, but I am going to keep trying and hopeully catch them next time..

Report: We had a tough bite today. Not suprising with the cooler temps and blue sky. We worked around Franks and Fisherman's Cut and only boated 9 or 10. Lost two more at the boat. As usual, we can always count on senko's or some small ish. But our better bites came on wht/chrt spinner baits ished across tule points and slow rolled (6-10 eet) along the outside weed line. Didn't get a single blade bite on rock walls. Blade ish were all in the 2 - 2 1/2 lb class, nothin real big. Had our or ive blow ups on rogs ishing a mat around 11. They seemed smaller than the norm and we didn't hook any o em.
