Saturday started o well with a 3lber then 2lber o the same brush on a senko. Continued working brush and the shore and ended up meeting someone I hadn't seen in about 10 years (when he caught a 9lb beauty right in ront o me) and he did it again! Beautiul 9 lber on a spinnerbait beore light. Whew!I ended up catching a good 6 lber (best Sonoma ish in about 6 years) on a pointer minnow then one about 1.5 lbs on a jig in the brush.Check this link or a complete story and pics o the ish: http://www.calishing.com/dcorum/DCForumID1/1420.html

      Water Temp: 73

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We had heard the ish'in had been slow, so ater a healthy breakast at Adel's onto the lake we went or two days o work. Started out the morning around the dam throwing top water and ripp'in. Caught numerous ish in a short period o time, un, but all were pups, 1 lb. to 1.5 lbs. Moved on up the river into Cherry where we spent the better part o the day, better quality ish to 4 lbs., however, ew and ar between bites. Everything was right except or the bite. Fish are currently chasing schools o bait out in deeper water. Finaly got on a spinner bait bite Monday mid-day ater three hours Sunday with no success. Over-all we ound ew ish staying home and the ones that did took a-lot o work getting them to open their mouths or inesse baits etc... Noticed only two other bass boys willing to venture onto the lake over the two days we were there. In case you were wondering, it was only a zoo on Monday since Sunday was spent back in a creek.

Tips: I did catch suspended ish with blades on the outer timber, however, about the only thing we didn't try was spooning or suspended ish in the outer timber. I someone gives it a try please let me know i it works out, curiosity has got the cat. Good Luck and happy hook'in!

Report: Man, I don't know where the previous post was ishing, but I had trouble inding clear water, especially in the creeks. Fished ABA tourney on Sunday, stayed in Cherry creek,(recomended by a local riend) had one nice keeper in the boat on a senko by 9am. Fishing an opening to a small creek when ish started busting big schools o shad right in ront o us. I through out a rip bait and hung a 2 1/2 and a 3.03 at the same time. I couldn't believe it!!!!! First time or everything!!!! Got another one on a shad colored senko, just thowing into the school o bait.( bait was in 40' o water) Later got our 5th, and culled a couple o samller ish by carolina rigging a lizard in the trees.Ended up in 8th place, what a weekend.
      City: San Leandro

Tips: Water was a zoo, too many boats and jet skiers. There are still bed ish, i you can ind them.Tournament was won in Yorty, guys ishing beds and also ripping schools o bait like we did.Go get em!! I wouldn't bother this weekend,,,,Zoo rama!!!
