      Water Temp: 52 - 55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Saturday 3-10-12, I fished from the back of my buddy’s boat on Disappointment slough. Strong wind made fishing tough except where there was some protection from it. No particular bait or color worked best. Fish were caught on baby brush hogs, wacky rigged Senkos and 6 inch RoboWorms drop-shot style. All of our fish were caught around points at the entrance to cuts or on the ends of islands. We ended the day with 9 fish. All were keepers with the largest going only 2¾ lbs.
      City: Pinole

Tips: Go fishing on days with not so much wind. The fish are there to be caught.

      Water Temp: 52-55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the water for about 8 hrs. Lake is real low, it was full this time last year... we need more rain! Started out throwing swimbaits, cranks, senkos and spinnerbaits around laydowns and flats with no takers. Then picked up a Brn.1/2oz. jig and started working steep rocky banks 5 to 25 ft. My partner and I managed to boat 6 nice fish to 3Lbs. Six smallies and two largemouth. They look like they were ready to spawn, nice healthy fish caught and released. I'm bringing crappie jigs next time, heard they were catching some two pounders.

Tips: Go Fish and post. Thanks

      Water Temp: 53-57

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The fish are starting to move up. Still drop-shotting a lot of fish in deep water, but was pleased to catch a limit on rip baits , including a largemouth, on the bank real quick first thing. Water level good and stable for the last few weeks, should see a large wave of fish coming shallow soon

Tips: drop-shotting shad and natural colors 30-60 ft. is producing good numbers of small keepers. Rip fish were better quality.

      Water Temp: 53 - 55

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Friday, 3/9/12. Fishing was tough for me and my buddy. The wind was calm to none all day with no clouds in the sky. The water temperature has gone up 2° in the last two weeks and is now between 53° and 55° in most areas. We ended the day with just 4 fish with one at 4¼ lbs and the rest all over 2½ lbs. The total weight of the four fish was a nice 12¼ lbs. Three were large mouth and one was a small mouth. All were caught on or around points on the East side in 10 – 15 ft of water drop-shotting 4½ and 6 inch Roboworms. There were no fish in shallow. Jerk baits and Senkos were tried with no success.
      City: Pinole

Tips: The calm clear conditions made the fishing tough.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had the best day of my life fishing for bass. I caught 18 bass between 12:45 and 6:00 pm using on lure. I was fishing from the boat tossing a crayfish with orange belly crankbait deep dive. I caught a few 3 lbs and a few 2 lbs the others were smaller. Had about a 5 lb to the boat and flipped off as I was grabbing for the net. I was throwing it up against the bank on the east side of the lake.

Report: Launched at Ladd's about 1230 or 1 o'clock. Took off and thought today would be pretty productive. Nice weather calm water... Hit Tule island and whiskey slough with no luck...Threw everything but the kitchen sink with no luck... Tried spinners, rattle traps and wacky rigged some senko's and weightless rigged some super flukes. No bites not a thing. I even threw a rod reel in the water...I guess I will need some help figuring out these waters in Cali...

      Tips: Give me some tips

      Water Temp: 54-56

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the east side of Delta in the afternoon. We had 4 strikes and only 4 in the boat. It was one of the most calm afternoons I have ever seen in March. Water was like glass the entire time. Our strikes came in about 6 to 8 feet of water... Water is still too cold for my tastes...
      City: Elk Grove

Tips: Caught all fish flippin plastics. No reaction bite even when the sun was down....

      Water Temp: 54

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I have been out 5 times in the last 2 weeks. One of the 5 days (2 weeks ago) the spinner bite was on! It was a windy afternoon. Yesterday I put in at Big break and it was Dead. We also put in at Orwood and Holland on other days. I talked to some guys prefishing for a tourney this weekend and they also reported No fish. It maybe because of the drop in water temp. We threw spinnerbaits, rattletraps, soft plastics and punched with sweet beaver...Nada. Maybe I'm fishing the wrong side of the Delta, If you are putting fish in the boat props to you, but I am not seeing much of a bite.
      City: Martinez

Tips: Keep going out. You can't catch fish from your couch!

      Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: What a mess. Parking lots full and boats everywhere. No place to fish or park on this small lake.
Pressure is making the bite turn off.
I wouldn`t make a long drive to come here, there are too many other lakes getting good now.

      Water Temp: 45-50

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: This last week we have seen the lake warm up to 53 in the afternoon and the bite has increased because of it. It has warmed all week but most of the bites came early in the morning in the first two hours of light and mostly on reaction baits. The A-rig continues to be a fish finder and also rip baits on points were working as well. In the afternoon jigs, worms, tubes, fineese jigs, swim jigs, drop shots were all working in water 2ft to 15ft, In the late morning and early afternoon you had to go down to 30ft.plus to get bit. Of coarse there were a few exceptions of bass chasing bait up to the bank in places in the late morning. The South Fork remains the warmest as it does this time of the year and any south facing bank on the lake will warm up for the afternoon. The Middle Fork is the clearest of the forks and fishing well as also the West Branch. The main body is fishing good early and late afternoon.

Report: It worked for me. For those who want tips, try jigs, rip baits or senkos for success. The big fish are shallow but in thick cover, more numbers but smaller fish are on shallow flats attainable by rip baits. Good luck guys. If you want pics of, proof then give me your email.

Report: Come on really braid throwing up as close to the bank as possible. Next your gonna tell me rip bait 3 to 5 feet of water. Come on man trying to keep this place decent. I don't like going out and getting skunked. Help me out where's the trust.

      Water Temp: mid-50's?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Arrived at the lake around 3 pm and fished until sunset. Left the boat ramp and neaded north. Didn't have a bit until around 5:30, but it was a nice bass about 4 lbs. Caught it on a drop shot using a black/blue worm off the end of the island.
Not too many bites right now, but the quality has been really good. A friend and his bro have been there the last couple days and caught several over 4 lbs and one over 6 lbs.
      City: Rohnert Park

Tips: Quality not quantity right now. Things may change as the front moves through. Water temp is still a little cold to kick on the bite.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished from my kickboat around the Buckingham area, water is ultra clear and fish are staging under deeper docks and others are wanting to spawn, saw fish from 3-10 ft of water, no hookups, but fish looked healthy and big! I would say I saw 12-15 fish that weighed 2-8 pounds. I think its going to be a decent year for fishing! Weeds will be thick this summer though so bring your frogs and your punchin' gear!
