Water Temp: 60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Excellent day of fishing.Launched out of a little northern delta ramp.Caught 13 bass in 3 hours. I know there's some sceptics that will read this but most will believe.Pouring rain with 20mph winds. Best 5 went 17lbs with a six pounder.Everything was caught with red crankbaits, square and standard bill.Riprap with any wood in 4-10'was the key pattern.I had two other good days two weeks prior with a simular pattern. The best action was outgoing tides.I'm sharing my report because I have been able to figure out a pattern prior to fishing through all of the previously posted reports. Thanks
City: galtTips: eat tuna not bass

Oroville Lake

Water Temp: 59-61
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished South Fork. Caught most of our fish near rock in less then 20 feet of water on spinnerbaits. Tried plastics but spinnerbait with chartreuse and white or blue and white coloring worked best. Didnt have much success in the willows. Caught around 30 for the day. My brother caught about a 2.5 lb red eye bass.
City: sacramentoTips: Fish wind blown points and coves. try to find some larger rocks in the coves and have some fun!

Shasta Lake
-
Water Temp: Low 60's
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The lake is just under 2' from full pool. The bite has been pretty decent despite the recent storms that we have been getting. Bass are still being caught mainly on soft plastics such as weightless wacky rigged Senkos, tubes and 6" straight tail worms on 1/8 to 3/16 oz. dartheads fished from the shoreline out to around the 20' mark. The water in the Squaw and Pit arms of the lake has been running a little dirtier than the Sac and the McLoud. Bass are still in all stages of the spawn. Look for staging fish waiting to move up around 20' deep off of steeper drop off's, Spawning fish on long flats from the shoreline out to 15' and post spawners around the willows.
City: Shasta LakeTips: If you are planning on heading out give us a call at 1-800-462-3917 or 530-275-4939 for the latest info on how the lake is fishing.

Tips: They're in there so keep trying. Please catch and release.

Pillsbury Lake
-
Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: fished lake pillsbury from the 29th thru the 31st. the first night i fished from shore with my gf and caught one 1 pounder on a white rooster tail, and a small sunfish. the next day my buudy showed up with the boat and we went out for a couple hours. the wind dam near pushed us off the water at 130. we were out for about 2 hours, and only graphed about ten fish. we could not find them. the didnt seem to be shallow, or deep. the next day me and the gf went out to the same spot i got the small fish the pouring rain, i got a 3.5-4 pounder on a 3 inch fluke, and that was it. not too productive, we couldnt seem to locate fish. didnt even get to kill any squaw fish
City: ro poTips: im not really sure, find the fish i guess, then go from there. good luck

Clear Lake
-
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: All these weird weather patterns are causing real tough bite. I fished mainly Kelsey creek and other nearby sloughs due to the high winds and wave action. I tried a variety of plastics, but in the end a green pumpkin senko seemed to be the ticket. I caught three bass, ranging from 4 to 6 pounds. Target tules with weed growth in front, and don't fish too close to the cover, the fish seemed to be real finicky.

Report: Just a quick report on DVL. I got out on the lake from 9:45 - 4:30. I caught 6 fish, 5 keepers and 1 short. All the fish came drop shotting pink worms on the south side of the lake from 5-25 feet. The senko bite that I had expected did not materialize.

Oroville Lake

Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Took the boy up the 29th and 30th. Sunday the weather was beautiful with light winds. Lake is prolly 6ft from full pool. Stayed in Potters and North Fork all day catching 1/8oz darthead/4" worm fish all day. Color didn't matter. Most fish were caught in the 10-15ft range. We caught around 30 fish (lost count)with nearly half in the slot and 2 over. Overall weight was around 13lbs.
Monday was alot windier. Caught 4 keeper spook fish early in Nork Fork. After sun came up, moved to Middle Fork and finished the day in South Fork. Had to switch to 1/4oz darthead due to the wind. Again, color didn't matter. Numbers went down a bit but quality stayed up. Had around 14lbs with two 3 lber's. Don't pass up the most outboard bridge pilings. Good fish holding there.
Overall it was a great trip with my son. We had a blast catching fish after fish. The smile on his face after each fish he caught will be forever etched in my brain. Priceless!
City: BrentwoodTips: Spent most time in North Fork. 1/8oz darthead with 4" worm in your favorite color shallow should work.

Water Temp: 63-66
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got to south end Mildred Is. by 6:30. Fished green tullies near clean water. Tried to stay away from moss. Pitched Watermelon w/red/green fleck worms and Brush Hogs. The further back into the tullies we pitched, the more hits we got. This worked last week for some 5+lb fish but only mustered 2.5 pounders today. Still some bigger cruisers around shallow water.
Tips: Fish slow.

Been every wknd for a month and had a reaction bite every time. stay with cranks & spinnerbaits and you will be rewarded.
