Water Temp: 65
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Took the boy up the 29th and 30th. Sunday the weather was beautiful with light winds. Lake is prolly 6ft from full pool. Stayed in Potters and North Fork all day catching 1/8oz darthead/4" worm fish all day. Color didn't matter. Most fish were caught in the 10-15ft range. We caught around 30 fish (lost count)with nearly half in the slot and 2 over. Overall weight was around 13lbs.
Monday was alot windier. Caught 4 keeper spook fish early in Nork Fork. After sun came up, moved to Middle Fork and finished the day in South Fork. Had to switch to 1/4oz darthead due to the wind. Again, color didn't matter. Numbers went down a bit but quality stayed up. Had around 14lbs with two 3 lber's. Don't pass up the most outboard bridge pilings. Good fish holding there.
Overall it was a great trip with my son. We had a blast catching fish after fish. The smile on his face after each fish he caught will be forever etched in my brain. Priceless!
City: BrentwoodTips: Spent most time in North Fork. 1/8oz darthead with 4" worm in your favorite color shallow should work.

Report: Got to south end Mildred Is. by 6:30. Fished green tullies near clean water. Tried to stay away from moss. Pitched Watermelon w/red/green fleck worms and Brush Hogs. The further back into the tullies we pitched, the more hits we got. This worked last week for some 5+lb fish but only mustered 2.5 pounders today. Still some bigger cruisers around shallow water.
Tips: Fish slow.

Report: on at 6:30. slow crank bite. only 10 in 1st 3 hours on main body. went to north arm and swithed off between crankin and texas rig robo in light oxblood. consistant for 3 hours then swithed to spinnerbait at 2pm and it was on. fished shallow and fast for 4 hours for 50+. finished off the day with 20 crankbait fish. Been every wknd for a month and had a reaction bite every time. stay with cranks & spinnerbaits and you will be rewarded.
City: BrentwoodTips: a lot of tree needles & leafs in the water made it tough on main lake. Use compact spinnerbait. Cranked with normans deep lil n & middle lil n. sour grape. speed trap in chrome/ black. They will set up shallow to ambush at some point during the day. Keep movin and you will find them. Everything shallow for me

Report: WOW! I heard about big # days so I made my first trip.. Days one started good with 18 by 0930, then died off with the wind till about 3 pm.. Day 1 total= 49.Small mouths were sitting off shore about 30 feet and spots/blacks a little more shallow..Day two started with a little rain and chilly. a little slow in the first two hours but then it picked up.. picked ALOT of fish 20 feet from shore and on the bottom dragging a variety of grubs and plastic worms.. 13 1/2 hours on the lake and the bite was steady.. day 2 total=101 fish between two of us!!..
City: AtwaterTips: Slow dragging bottom retries worked well in the morning, weightless wackky rig in the afternoon/evening was working too. Not much action on cranks or spinners.. Good luck!@

Water Temp: 62-67
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started fishing @ 7:30 and fished a couple of areas throwing mostly reaction baits. By the time I was on my 3rd stop and it was 2.5 hours later with no fish. Finally started throwing a tube on a 3/16 jig head and the catching started. It wasn't wide open and they weren't tourney fish, but it was steady fun. These were definitely postspawn fish, and they were healthy, chunky, feisty fish. Most of them were spitn up bits of shad and crawdaddies. I thought I would see more than the couple of bass boats that I did see, but most of trailers in the lot look like trout/salmon dudes. From 10:30-4:30 boated around 20-25 keeps up to 2#.
City: orindaTips: Fish were in the 4-12 ft depths. Once in awhile i would mark fish in the 18-20 ft range, but could not get them to go. I basically caught them on 2 baits; tubes and grubs. Tubes in the beginning and grubs in the end. I think they really liked the tubes as they swallowed some of those, while the grub fish were all hooked on the lips. Most of the fish were on small points with a few fish in between....good luck.

San Pablo Lake
-
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went here with my brother for the first time in the float tubes. We fished the south end and I caught a 6 and an 8 and lost a catfish. My bro gets a 6.5. Then nothing for three trips after, no bass, only catfish. You see bass swimming around, they're there. Catfish eat plasics. We didn't experiment with too many baits. Beginner's luck maybe.
City: ConcordTips: 6" Senko's in watermelon/red or black/blue depending on clarity. Lizard in black/red for my brother.

Report: Started early and got on the buzz bait, first one close to 4lbs the second right at 3 lbs. Nothing for a little after that. Then got a few on the jig and senko. North end of the lake. Went down by the damn at 9 am. Started throwing the big slammer and had a 10lb plus fish come up and suck in the tail got one hook in her but she didn't finish taking the bait. Fished the area for about an hout tossing the big baits but couldn't get her. Started tossing the crank bait against the dam and landed around 20 fish in about 30 mins. Nothing big mostly small fish. Did get a couple close to 2lbs. Ended the day with a good number of fish but just about 12lbs and one lost between 10-13lbs. Needed that kicker.

Berryessa Lake
-
Water Temp: 76-69
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished the West side of the big island, caught all of our fish in cuts and small wind blown coves in 8 to 10 feet of water. We caught 10 fish on drop-shot robo worm in morning dawn color. Had another 8 to 10 bites but couldn't land them in the boat. Our best five fish went 17.5 lbs with the biggest fish at 3.5 lbs and included three smallies.
No takers on rattle traps, crank baits, jerk baits or top water...Drop-Shot was the meal of the day.
City: Elk GroveTips: When you get your first bite look at your depth finder and see how deep of water your boat is in...then keep your boat in that depth as you fish. Every time we moved deeper we lost our bite; once we got the boat back at the right depth of our first bite we would get hit again.
