Water Temp: 68
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I agree with what the last poster said. These reports really help me as far as what the fish seem to be responding too since I can't get out to the delta all that often. If gives me a starting point as far as what to use. I'm not on here looking for spots and if you are then that is the wrong reason. Get a map and start marking, that's what I am doing right as we speak. If someone wants to share where they are fishing then that's up to them, I would not do that. And one other thing, I swear some of you go out of your way to write in slang and to incorrectly spell every word you can. It's no big deal, but if you are complaining about something you might get more listeners if you at least put some effort in.
City: Davis, CaTips: The frog bite in the delta was on two days ago. They are in thick and I mean THICK mats of weeds. So thick that there will be a lot of misses because the fish can't get through but be patient, it's a kick. Also a moderate jig bite on tules with steep drop offs.

Water Temp: 67
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The Junior BASS club (River Ratz) out of Rocklin launched out of B&W at 6am. Winds blowing but the spinner baits and speed trap was the way to go on those rocky banks. The first hour was 7 bass, three stripers and lost four at the boat. I made it a three fish limit with a 6 hour tourny so that they can learn about the culling method if they got more. The Juniors did real well for most of them not ever being their before but the boaters were from Basin Bassmaster of Loomis club. As the tide died and the winds stoped so did the fish. We had two limits, two with two bass and 1 with 1 one.
City: RocklinTips: Take advantage of the wind and use it in your favor to hit those banks that have the rocks with some tullies. Crank and cover more ground.
-
Water Temp: 70-73
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: 4:30 a.m. launch and 100 M.P.H. winds. Well maybe not 100 but REAL big wind. Found a little place to hide and fished about 200 feet of bank with the boat against the rocks. From 5:30 to 6:08 I caught a 2, a 3, a 4, and a 5.5 largemouth. All were good looking fish. By 8:00 a.m. I had a respectable limit. I caught them all on the big fat Senko.
City: San LeandroTips: Early launch insures you tearing up your spots 1st. Enough people know the area I fish. Exactly 0.3 miles from the barn, third tree on the left, exactly 4.3 feet off the bank durning the 4 ft. tide right under the clouds. Just kidding about the spot but the Fat Senko was working. Last digits 297 bi fat green pumpin Senko.

Report: hit rocky points at the submerged peninsula; 2.5lb lm on darter head/aaron's magic; noticed lots of fry so figured they might chase a reaction..one chased my lc staysee but didn't commit; lots suspended but points showed alot at bottom from 11-20ft. not enough time to work the points before the heavy wakes from the boarders move you around; wind was up.
City: FolsomTips: cross rocky points with darter, c-rig.

Berryessa Lake
-
Water Temp: 73-77
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: After a bit of a hot spell in the valley, I thought the top water would kick in. I started with spooks in the wraggs canyon area. Missed a few before hooking up with a few spots, then started casting a fat free shad across points and around wood. That did not produce. Again tied on a drop shot rig and worked the same area and caught two lgmth in ten minutes and four more in the next hour and half. After graffing a school of bait fish in 35 feet of water with fish feeding on them in the main body I hovered over and dropped a tube bait and hooked up with a bunch of 1 and 1 and half pounders.
City: NapaTips: I just kept casting and casting until I got strikes with the spooks hopping they would turn on. Most of my fish were quite deep considering its June. Good Luck.

Report: launched out of lazy-m marina around 6am. Very slow day for us today most of our fish came on drop-shot,white frogs and crank baits. Our biggest around 4 pds.A gentlemen asked to borrow our scale to weigh a 9-14 toad caught on a chatter bait with a beaver trailer.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: fished west Delta with no big fish but lots of fun. Three limits - 2 1/2 to 4 1/2. Fish came on Beaver, drop shot & senko's. Key seemed to be tight to the tullies.Comment to Rico-Basically your rigt about shareing spots on line. The purpose here is to share technics, whats working now,& how your working your water to get results. Giveing away the prime spots you have cultivated is not the deal ,unless someone feels generous enough to do so.
City: lockfordTips: Fising tight has helped me this year. I mean real tight.

Water Temp: Can't remember
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Cache creek 6/18 for about 4hrs and nada, fished deeper water outside of Red Bud arm with my Brother, Sister-In-Law and my self, we got 9 fish to 4 lbs on 6/19, we did not start fishing until about 9:30 so we missed the morning bite and left by 6:00 so we missed the evening bite, the wind picked up and my 7 year old daughter gets very scared when we go over those big rollers, my 5 year old son loves it, he thinks its a roller coaster ride :) anyway had to get off the water before my daughter had a heart attach and tells Mom on me :)We got fish on drop shot Margareta Mutalator, Watermellon Senko's, and I got one on a bluegill swim bait on my new Powell 8 ft rod, I was happy to get one on the rod to see how it would feel, the fish was only 2.5 lbs but it felt pretty good even for a 2.5 fish :)Like others have stated, lots of algee in the Red Bud arm, my power trim went out on the 175 Merc so my Brother and I had to get in the water at Red Bud and pick up the motor manually, we than had to go to the car wash and do the Tommy Boy wash off of our selves and my Ranger, it was gross !! Went to a small lake that I will not say because it has tons of bluegill, my Daughter and Son had a ball catching one after the other, it was the best Fathersday I ever had watching that :)
City: San JoseTips: Don't worry about the algee, just stay off the Red Bud east side of the lake, the wind blows all the algee to the east side of the lake but the west side is fine, drop in and drive to the other side. Now a fishing tip, I got my smallest fish of 5 on the bluegill swim bait, I got my biggest fish of 4 lbs on a 4 inch worm, so go figure !!!
Actually the answer is dead stick what ever you toss.

San Luis Lake

Water Temp: 70
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Wondering what the water levels are like, my grandmother just came up the pass and said the waters way down. She said it was damn near drained to the bottom. Is this true? Can somebody give me a ballpark as to how many stories (10 ft) it's down? A few months ago it looked about full maybe 3 stories low. Can somebody inform me? Been thinking about going out there, but the more concentrated the water, the more concentrated the baitfish = less bites.
City: HaywardTips: Thank you for any info

Water Temp: 78
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Took POP out fishing for father's day fishing for bass, trout , and kokanee. Fish on the out side of POPE creek n saw smallie blowing up everywhere. Trip me out. Pop got first bit on popper. Then I threw crankbait n got a hit. Another bass swam beside the one that i hook up. Pop threw down a drop shot close to the fish i hook up and BAMMM !! Double hook up. Got pop hella happy. Threw crankbait out again n got another one. Saw another fish with it n pop did the same shit n got another double. It's a trip how spot n smallie mingle together like that. Most of the bass we caught was on crankbait, drop shot, poppers, and then spinnerbait(bluegills colors). We fish around 15-25 ft of water n mostly on points. It's true..Don't know where all the 3 plus lbs bass are at. Last Week we did better with couple 3 lbs n lost one close to 3lbs.
City: elk groveTips: I think Don be catching all these 3lbs plus bass n hide them on a clove or creek somewhere so his client be catching them.. I think it's time to hire Don again..haha.. Don <--- great guy
