Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: pontoon boated from 930 to about 12ish, wind picked up, very difficult. dropshotted from boat dock south and nailed one about 3lbs within the first 100yds. tons and tons of short bites, either crappie/blugill or just straight aggressive bass. the one i caught, when i felt the bite, i let some slack and then set the hook, give it time to bite. pretty much all those bites all the way down til the south end but no more hookups.
      City: santa clara

Tips: 20-30 feet off shore, cloudy but semi-warm day. not all the usual trees in the south end are in water, and when u first drive in, that parts not in water like it is usually. one i caught was a fatty, so either prespawn feeding or an early prespawner

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Not a good day at all. Threw my whole tacklebox and then some at the fish but couldn't get bit. On the water at 5:45am off at 12:00. Boats were moving all over the lake all day so i think i wasn't the only one with a bad day. Wind picked up and and no fish biting = Go Home and relax!
      City: San Jose/Monterey

Tips: Wish i could tell ya.....typical coyote day....fish jumping all over the place and no fish committing to a lure...maybe 2 more weeks of sunny 70 ish days, might change some things.....i sure hope

      Water Temp: 53 S (Dam) - 55

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished form 7 till 2. Main lake was chocolate, creek was green. Tried everything, black and blue jig, senkos, C-rig brushhogs, cranks, spinners, white frog. Trolled swimbaits from the dam to the creek along West bank. Graphed lots of fish suspending at 20' in 40' water. Had One solid hook-up in the creek on a Shakey Head - with a Kinami purple-brown cut-tail worm, but it broke me off. Wind came up strong around 11-2, whitecaps main lake. In summary: skunked.

      Water Temp: 55-60

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fishing Saturday until mid afternoon. Caught a couple 4lbs on windy points. Wind was bad. Caught smaller fish in the morning and the bigger ones later in the afternoon. All jig fish in shallow water. 5'-15' deep.

Tips: Both 4lbs were spawned out. Jigs on main points. fished submerged structure with only small fish being cuaght. find rocky main body points and hold on. Had a few bites on the old swimbait, but nothing would hang on.

      Water Temp: 52

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Another slow day. Fished South fork on Saturday and got one 2.5 spot on a C-rigged senko. The wind picked up and we headed in about noon. Tried everything but I think these cold nights are not letting the water warm up to really activate the fish.

      Water Temp: upper 50's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: hiked up there with a couple of friends. On the way there, one of the two rods we had got the tip broken off because of a rock. But we fished with it anyway, along with the one i brought. We started off with a worm and spinnerbait. I lost my spinnerbait when i got it snagged so i figured thats it for using those. After losing it, and not catching anything, we moved to another spot across from us that had some deeper water closer to shore. One of my friends used a crankbait and i used a darter head with a Gulp minnow worm. On my second cast i had a hit and set the hook. When i landed it it was a pound or so. I had a light setup so it was a good fight! After that i gave my rod to a friend who wasnt fishing and he got one a little bigger within 10 minutes. After that we had to leave and head back even though it wasnt too late. This was my first time here and i enjoy the hike but i might bike up here next time so i can fish a little longer. I would like to use a float tube in this lake...that would be fun.
      City: Santa Rosa

Tips: The fish are in prespawn and around weeds, the water was low, i think they drained out some water to pull out tules. We passed some rangers who were doing that. Use a suspending jerkbait or a darter head, maybe a crankbait. The fish are becoming more active. Good Luck!

      Water Temp: 44-50

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: As I thought would happen, the fishing got better as the week progresed. The water temps are rising slowly with 55 degrees the high in the South Fork, Main Body temps from 44-50, North Fork from 43-48. Saturdays Anglers Choice Tournament produced many 10lb, limits and the top weight was 11.6lbs. Most of the bass came from the slot, main body and the south parts of the lake. Drop shot with Robo Worms, Gitzits in green, clear sparkle, and motor oil, Paradise Tackle jigs in green, brown/purple and black/blue and dart head worms produced most of the bites. The reaction bite is still soft. Next weeks bite should get even better.
      City: Paradise

Tips: Bites came in 5-10 ft. down to 50ft. Points and walls leading into coves produced bites.

      Water Temp: 49

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out saturday and sunday. Winds were pretty good on Sunday morning. Fished in 30 to 50 feet of water and caught 12 the first day and 10 on sunday. Best five went about 7 pounds. caught most fish on twin tail grubs and drop shot small worms. Caught a few on tubes. mostly in natural browns.
      City: Central Point

Tips: fish slow and on points. Bait fish are being pushed to the west side of the lake due to the winds. Watch out for debris in the water. there is a ton of logs that can ruin your day.

      Water Temp: 53.6

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Me and the son headed to this lake by default. Was running late but we wanted to hit the water so we talked about it and decided it was the one that would give us the most time on the water getting our lines wet. A few fishing dudes on the lake and a few skiers but not too bad. Man was the wind up today and had a bite to it. Trolling motor was cutting out on me so it was hard to hold over any spots. The fish finder spotted a ton of fish at 25 feet just hanging out talking to one another. Drop shotting for 90% of the time. The boy rigged carolina wormy but nothing going on. A few carp jumped as the sun set and the wind died down. We had about 45 minutes of time left so I decided to go with a 3/8 oz black spinner with willow leaf blades. I tossed it towards the shore working a shelf and BAM! 3 lbs ended up on my line. Brought it in as my fishing partner netted it. Remembered at that time I forgot the camera.. DOH! My son had to have one so he decided to throw a spinner but no luck as we ran out of time.

We ran out of sun but I filled my life bucket with joy because I got to hang with my son and do something every father and son should have the opportunity to do.

      Water Temp: 55-56

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Beautiful weather, great time to be on the water. I fished from 2 pm to Sunset on the east delta the last two days. Fished islands and steeper banks with rock/tulles. Quickly learned the islands were the place to be. Had best luck with spinner baits for numbers of fish up to 5#. A few fish caught on Delta Craw speed trap. Probably would have been able to catch more, but I prefer spinner baits when they are working. A few fish on swim bait to 6.5#. Overall had fun as the bite is turning on.
      City: Elk Grove

Tips: Where I found the warmer water, the fish were shallow.

Report: Went out on the 2nd and roped fish all day. Started off with a 1/2 ou spinner bait and caught a 7 pounder slow rolling a point. Roped a few more and then I threw senkos against the damn and pulled out two 5's and three 6 pounders. I also fished 1/2 ounce jigs with a yamamoto twin tail and picked up some 3 pounders. Great day on the lake caught 27 total.
      City: Hemet

Tips: did not catch anything on the swim bait and just one small one on a crank, through spinner baits in the morning
