I ished the lats in 15-17 t o water with worms and made out with 15 smallmouth and one small largemouth. The interesting thing is I was not ishing slow, I was really moving the worm.

      Water Temp: N/A

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Regarding the stripers in Contra Loma. They are there rom the tube which is rom Broad Slough. They were never stocked and need no program or protection. The stock o stripers in Contra Loma is healthy. The water district and Parks & Recreation never had any intention o having stripers 30 years ago. The stripers now are a part o the ecosystem and spawn just ine. I you haven't seen them boil, well that's good it just leaves more or us. For the airators or " bubblers " they play no part in the stripers ability to remain in Contra Loma. For some people that is their only ocus so i the bubblers are not on there are no stripers. And since Contra Loma was in my backyard growing up every winter they drop the water every year. Sometimes more so than other seasons. We used to get all o the lures that we and other isherman snagged in the summer during the winter when the water was low.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Thanks Brad. From my impression ishing there last year, Lexinton was muddy more oten than not because o its windy terrain. Two - Three oot clarity was considered to be great.

      Water Temp: cold

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went back and did the same thing today and BLANKED. Could not get anything going. A little less wind today I noticed. Did that have anything to do with the BLANKING, I don't know. Gotta keep trying. Threw the swim bait or awhile also and carolina rigged some dierent plastics. Nada.
      City: Petaluma

Tips: Pay attention to my report(2-12-03) and when the water starts to warm up a bit that rip bait and senko(green pumpkin with tail dipped in chartreuse dye) will pay o or you. Hope this helps.
