Water Temp: 64
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fishing was great. Temp was near 80 on Sunday. Fish were in the shallows at about 5-10t o water- watrer temp 64. Any ish that went any urther into shallow water were propmtly eaten by the pellicans that were hunting them down (on the grass lats n.e. side)- Wild never saw that beore. Aaso landed many ish in any cove that I went to in the late aternoon on the N.W. side. Get out its great!
City: NapaTips: Keep it small. All ish were caught on a 3" worm light in color, Texas rig

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing was air or us today. Weather was gorgeous, which brought out alot o boaters. Really had the south end stirred up in most places. We landed 8 total, no big ones, several 2-3lbers. One nice smallmouth taken by buggin' on her ly rod! Found all ish in backs o coves. Only saw a ew bed ish today, mostly a little deeper, maybe 5-10t. o water. Small plastics and cranks were getting bit or us today, oh yea, and a weighted white/chartuese streamer!
City: VacavilleTips: I you can, go up during the week, it should be awesome. As the weather warms, it just going to get better! Make sure to be as quiet as possible, they seem very jitterish right now.....

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched our o Capell Cove early morning with my younger son Guillermo, visiting rom San Diego on spring break.Fished Skiers Cove early in the morning and moved to the Narrows ater midday.Tried some reaction with little luck. Guille caught two small smallmouth on a popper, I couldn't get a bite ripping. Changed to split shot and ended up with more than twelve ish beetwen the two o us. Best ones 4.3 lbs and 2.5 lb, the others around 1-1.5 lbs. The majority o the ish, including the two big ones took a salt and pepper ProWorm leach. Couldn't get much on the nice rocky walls, did better away rom points. Fisnished with a weight o 10.34lb on my Cull'em Rite scale. Even got a picture o the big ones! Great day, although the lake got rather busy later in the morning, and the wakes o other boats were rather anoying
City: FairieldTips: Fish deeper, the two good ishes came out o 20+ eet and away rom points.

Water Temp: turnover
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Went North and as in my last report the water was a little stained which I thought was rom the rains except this time it has been clear or several days. Sometime I'm a little slow so when I dropped the trolling motor and read the temp o 50.5 I knew what had happened . The lake is turning over this weekend which was conirmed by the putrid smell in the back o the coves. Around the narrows, Wyagg, Markley you still have decent visability and around 60.0 in the pm.
City: Sacramento,Tips: Lake is turning over . I would give it a week or the silt to settle and the largemouth should be on the beds. Only caught 4 ish, 2 jig and 2 crankbait. Spent most o the day looking or the big girls and working out with an osprey. Thanks to Fish Chris or the EWG trebble .

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Todays excuse as to why I didn't slam'um is wind and lots o it. I this weren't a amily site I say what I really eel. However ished the areas that had the least amount o wind and got bit early and oten.Backs o coves mainly with brown jigs and brown senkos, to only name two. Just wished I could have ished the main part o the lake, it's has got to be wide F*@#?% open. "opps amily thing sorry" Throw every thing it will all work right now. Go easy on the senkos they are too costly to use up on all the small dinks. In all no bigs just a lot(35+)o ish 2lbs or less, and the thought o what could have been or will be next week.
City: woodlandTips: rent a boat, buy a boat, steal a boat, tie logs togeter,(the damm ones in markley will work) just get there and ish. Just pick a day with no wind.

Water Temp: 58-59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Sunday aternoon rom 2:00pm to dark. The smallie's are done in the North end and the carp are loaded in the usual spawning lats. Water was dirty with only 3-4 inches o visability. Went back towards Markley with much cleaner water and slightly cooler, 57-58. Picked up 5-6 ish on L.C. 90sp rip baits and Frenzy crank baits, a 3.0 largemouth on a carolina rigged baby hog and 2 or three senko ish beore I caught my biggest ish this year , 11.4 on my scale which is about 6 oz. light. Perectly marked at and ull o eggs, what a ish. I had not seen another boat bass ishing all aternoon and I really wanted a picture o this ish beore I released her hopeully where I caught her and not at the ramp. Went around the corner and in the next cove was another bass boat who was nice enough to oer when asked to snap a shot. They had there own "Big Girl" too. Since they did not have a scale I oered mine and their ish went 9.6lbs, what a pair o ish. Ater the picture I put her in the water and moved her in a couple o igure eights and then she gave me the tail.
City: Sacramento,Tips: Smallmouth are done in the north and about done in the south as I say alot og empty beds. The large mouth are just starting and should be locked on beds this week. Please remember to release the largemouth as soon as possible and where caught so she can do her duty. Do the smallie's and the large mouth a avor and keep a limit o spots.
