Fished over across rom the houseboatsalong the steep wall and cranked a shad pattern lure. Caught alot o small ones 10 11 inches with a 12 incher once in awhile. Went to the other side on the way back to the ramp glad i did cause i got a 17 inch spot big and at and that ended the day,

Tips: Crank small baits until you ind ish, then slow down with 3"-4" worms on small darter heads.

Report: Fished Womens 86'ers tournament. Event was held a little later in the year than usual. Fishing was better or most teams as many 7 ish limits weighed in. We ished giant cove across lake rom Dark Day launch. Cranked 20+ ish on bill norman crankbaits. ripped a couple on pointer minnows. Thought we were in the money. Wrong. River arm was producing on 6" worms also or slightly bigger ish. Friends caught 19 keepers in river on worms or 6 lbs. We had 5.9-----one place out o the money. I hate all the small ish in this lake! (keepers were 12" mouth open!)
    City: Yuba City

Tips: 13" ish very tough to come by. 6" worms get bigger ish.

Report: first time to bullards. wanted to go get some real fish at clear lake but decided to check to look for the cat that got out of the bag.and man am i glad i did. not only did we find the cat and the bag we found our best five spotted bass!!!at 19.+lbs i cant wait to tell my bass club to schedule a tourny out here. the best spotted bass lake ever. by far
    City: linda

Tips: at first we ran from boat traffic to find fish with no luck. fish here like water skiers. find loud boats and u will find bigger fish. they absolutely hammer any 6inch worm.
