Report: Not a bad day following the last little storm front. A lot of bucks but the best three of the day were 4.7, 3.7 & 3.2 finished the day with the best 5 at about 15 lbs. The fish are still scattered and hit a variety of different baits.
City: Cameron ParkTips: Throw what ever you are confident in and you'll find fish.

Report: Well, fished my usuall(Taylor,Sandmound) areas yesterday. Lots of little fish out there. It never ceases to amaze me when a 6" bass inhales a double wide. Biggest was only a little over 3lb, 20 fish all day. Nice day on the water although it was much muddier than last week.
City: Walnut CreekTips: Time on the water.

Report: White caps in Franks and Mildred. What a windy day!! Went to Mildred and caught 1- 2lb on Senko and lost 3 more before we were blown away. Moved to Sandmound and caught 1-4lb in the weed openings. Picked up a few more around the docks, all around 2lbs. No biggies but the fishing was tough.
Tips: Senkos and Zippers were the only things that worked today, flip and pitched very tight to weedlines.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched at the usual place at Sugar Barge first thing in the morning. The boat hasn't been used in awhile and assumed the batteries were charged since it was hooked up to the charger. Well, the starting battery was bad so we switched it to a trolling motor battery which worked but left us pretty crippled only running the trolling on 1 battery, not much power there. But that didn't stop us.
Anyway, the fishing was slow for us. I caught 2, lost 3 at the boat. My partner caught 3, lost 2 at the boat. Not much size for us. Biggest was probably around 2.5 lbs. We went and fished near Mildred in the morning and went to Whiskey, Dissapointment in search for cleaner water and on to Franks in the early afternoon. Water was muddy at most places we went and stained in a few. Called it a day at 2:00. Fished were caught on senkos and beavertails. Nice to finally be out especially with the weather being so nice.
City: Union CityTips: Check your battteries!! :)

Water Temp: 58.3
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Sugar Barge and headed up towards Mildred about 0700. Immediately caught 2 on Senkos, tight to tully and 1 on blades, again, tight to the tullies, very shallow. All three fish were 2-3lbs. A few dinks (1-1.5lb) after that. Headed to Franks at Noon and picked up several more 2lbs, on zippers flip into weed openings. NO Biggies. A few were full of eggs, ready to drop.
Fun day with top 5 about 10-11 lbs.Tips: Fish not chasing, couldn't find them suspended either. Reaction baits did not seem to work today. Fish were tight into cover and pick-up on Senkos very light. Missed a few on the set. Water surprising, very clear 2-3', fishing in 6-7' of water.

Conditions were as expected with the water temp. dropping 5 deg. in a week. Would have been a small limit about 10 lbs.

A few casts down I bust an 8lb fish the rest of the day we caught several 5lbers and 4lbers biggest 5 went 33lbs. What an awesome day with 40mph winds. Thank you, Lord Jesus! for a successful trip. Success to all.

All in all not to bad fish ranged from 3.5# to 1.5# considering the front moving in fast.

Water Temp: 56-59
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started out of Ladds around 6:30 and ran to Disappointment. Tried topwater with no success so I broke out the jig. First pitch got bit but no hook up. Several hours, a few rain showers and almost a complete trip up and down the front end of the slough by paradise finally stuck a 1.8#. It started raining again and with the trolling motor having issues I decided to call it a day around 12:30. When I got back by Ladds I wanted to take some of the frustration off of my partners day with a fish so I went to the point at the entrance to the sailboat club to see if I could get him a fish. First crankbait cast 3.8#, second nothing, third 2#, fourth 1.5#, fifth 1.7#. Got drenched twice more and ended up with a final 1.5# off the point for about 45 minutes of fishing. I got hung up and broke off my crank so I tried to keep the boat in position for my partner to get one. No luck for him.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Louis Park and headed up to the Calaveras, got a couple of quick fish cranking structure. Moved around a little and got my first buzz bait fish this year. Headed back out to the main channel and a little farther east and found a good wall that held some good fish. Got one just under 6# on a crank bait and set hook on one that didn't move, it got loose around my trollin motor. Lost another fish probably in the 4# range. Had decent luck recently on outgoing tide with crank baits.
City: StocktonTips: Before fronts move in and during overcast I've found fish really tight to cover, wood and/or tulles.

Water Temp: 63 Degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of whiskey. Fished the slough early morning caught senko and fluke fish to 6lbs. Picked up the wife at the launch ramp at noon went over to mildred caught several 2lbs to 3lbs on senkos and drop shotting robo worms. Finished the day throwing topwater back in the slough fish to 3lbs Some big swirls around the baits at times. Must be the Big girls checking out the baits. Success to all.
City: TracyTips: Slow action for topwater almost motion less once the lure hits the water. Let all the rings dissapear before the next twitch of the bait and wait to set those hooks you may miss a double digit fish.

Water Temp: 61-63
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Launched outta Ladds this morning about 7, headed for Dissapointment. Pulled up to a tulie island on a point,on my fist flip I missed a nice one, (me and my weak hook set) I set on the fish and my rod loaded up instantly my wrist bent i could fell the fish for a second and she was gone, this is what i get for not having my rodbutt braced, i think this is the fish iv been looking for and i only hope i get a second chance the next time. From there we hit the Mildred area,Franks,Sandmound and even the entrance to the Calavares,(I think it was the calavares)wherever we went my brother was throwing 5" senco and hitting the smaller males, as for me i was sticking with the bigger baits, 9x senco and double wide beaver.

Water Temp: high 50's
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I should have known when I saw white caps in the puddles on the side of the road it was going to be a windy one. I haven't fished a day this windy in years. Long story short really windy, fished docks mostly and tried to stay out of the wind. Got about 10 fish all around a pound except for the nice little 6lb 1oz I got. Lots of little fish out there bangin the bait. Fished only jigs today from about 7-1 in Sandmound, Piper and Taylor. Guy on one of the docks said his daughter caught a 10+ the day before fishing for bluegill with a worm and a bobber, go figure.
