Report: BIG DADDY BLUE RANGER IS THE MAN!!!!!
City: sac -
Water Temp: 82
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished at night the last couple of weekends and just smoked the bass on the high tide. We used black and blue jigs and the bite was really good when the moon was bright. The bass seemed to go to the rock bank after dark and look for craws, there was one point whare we got a bite on every cast, then they would move off and go back to 10 to 15 feet deep. I tried top water, blades, rattle traps, and power worms but the only thing they would eat was the jig., kinda strange when the water was full of bait fish.
City: San LeandroTips: 1/4 oz dark jigs with a bulky trailor....and we did use some bang for scent.

Report: I normally fish Clear Lake, got 40 fish to 6 lbs last Sat but decided I have got to fish the Delta with all of the awesome report coming in the last year, My buddy Forrest and I landed 15 fish to 4 lbs today at the Delta, got them on crank bait, senko, shakey head 8 in worm, texas rig 10 inch worm and drop shot, by buddy tried chatter bait and buz bait with no luck, he got a few blow ups on popper but we did not start until 9:00 am and top water was over already, I think? again the last time on the Delta was 8-10 years ago.
City: San JoseTips: I read an article by Cooch and he said don't get intimidated by the delta just fish it like a lake and so I did:) with OK success.
We had a little pattern going, we were fishing points yes points where the rip rap had a point and the current was going around it and the fish had a calm water ambush spot just on the other side so they could come out hit it. I don't know if the moon phase or post spawn killed it for us but we did nothing compaired to what I have read in the past few months on the Delta. I need to find hot spots and learn more about this hot bass spot. Any fun fishers that want to email me some hot spots would be great, if you fish tourney's you wont and I understand:) God Bless and catch and release. -

Report: The Last 2 weekends have been productive on the Mokelumne river and the sloughs that branch off of it. We caught 25 fish up to 10 pounds on the 4th and yesterday my client caught 5 fish on a pencil popper and missed twice that many. Some really nice fish. Most of the Stripers are schoolies from 5 to 10 pounds.
City: SacramentoTips: Get out early for the topwater action. Check your tides and try to fish the 2 hours before and after the change.

Report: Ken bluegills are everywhere in delta just take size 8 gama hook (baitholder) small nightcrawler and a bobber, Jim no it is not illegal to use bluegill as bait, as long as the bluegill are caught on the same body of water where you planning to use them as bait.
City: San FranciscoTips: use heavy leader when you are trying to drift bluegill, FYI Ken bluegill are not a game fish, check DFG site or local bait house..
