    Water Temp: 43 - 45 degrees

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's about 9:00 a.m. and was out by 3:00 p.m. Ran straight to LVW Marina where I know there is clearer water to fish. Cuaght a 5 fish limit of bass (big fish was 2.5lbs) on PLine's 4" Kick R Minnow slow rolling around the dock. Then switched to my light action spin rod, 6 lb test, and a chartruese marabou crappie jig. I had fun catching crappie, small bass, blugill, redear, and my first sqaw fish.
    City: Stockton

Tips: Be prepared to fish multi- species during the winter months. You never know what you may catch out there.

    Water Temp: 45 - 47 degrees

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Buckley Cove about 10:00 a.m. and was out by 4:00 p.m. Headed for LVW Marina in 14 Mile Slough stopping at spots along the way. Today tried jig&pigs, dropshot, mojoshot, cranks, jerkbaits, and small swimbaits. I was only able to get bit with PLines 4" Kick R Minnow slow rolling it around the docks at both marinas (LVW & Buckley Cove).
    City: Stockton

Tips: I believe I lost my first three fish today becuase I was using a light wire darterhead style jighead with my swimbait on a med/heavy baitcaster. The first bass bent my hook out and ended up switching out the jigheads. After losing two more bass I switched to my spinning rod with a loosened drag and a more "for giving" tip and started putting fish in the boat afterwards.

Report: Breezy and water is muddy and cold. Launched at Buckley Cove 10:30am and left at 3:00pm. Slow-rolled spinnerbaits and chatterbaits for one hit in the Calaveras river in a deep pocket.

    Water Temp: 47.4

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Launched from Ladd's around 9:00 am and fished in Fourteen Mile slough bite was slow but caught 6 nice bass the biggest was 3.25 lbs. Most fish were in 6 to 8 feet of water and caught all fish on a shad colored rip bait. I missed three other fish, the bit was suttle and I didn't get a real good hook set. We got off the water around 1:00 pm as the wind picked up and the water was getting rough.
    City: Sacramento

Tips: Cast the lure out, reel it down and let it sit...give it a twitch and let it sit for 20-30 second count. All fish were caught as the bait was sitting still.

    Water Temp: 50

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Launched 715am B&W; water on s.moke and san joaquin is muddy and lots of debris. worked dark senkos, big bite baits kriet worms, jigs, beavers, nada. was gonna try black spinnerbait but left spinnerbait box at home. tried st francis yacht club entrance and picked up a 1-lber on a black/red flk senko right at the tules. couple more hits there but nothing else on the hook. went to look for clearer water but couldn't find it so called it a day around 1pm.
likely won't be back for a while but sure would like to see some other reports if anyone decides to go!
    City: folsom

Tips: nothing to offer but would welcome some for these tough conditions! isn't anything dark/black in muddy water the recommended offering?
guess i'll try my backyard lake (folsom) ... it's tough there too but least i'll save on gas.

    Water Temp: 54 - 58 degrees

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" about 9:00 a.m. and was out by 2:30 p.m. Not much to report this time due to the fog I stayed and fished around the marina until it cleared. Cuaght my first bass on the "A" Rig about a four pounder and the other 7 bass using my last 6" PLine Kick R Minnow. Finally got to hit the main channel, first checking out the Calaveris River, tried alittle bit of every thing here and no bites. Following my original plan ran out to Big Al's Light 19, could not get it figured out here either, but did manage to catch a small striper on the "A" Rig which I used as a search bait.
    City: Stockton

Tips: patterns change as the weather conditions change. High blue sky I should of gone finesse. :-P

    Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Friday 11-23-12, my buddy, his son and I launched from Russo’s near low tide (8:00 AM). Right away, several fish were caught on a Bass Assassin and a jerk bait. After having no luck with a Rattle Trap, I also switched to a jerk bait. At least 2 hours passed before our next bite which was a 4 lb. 2 oz. bass. It was caught on a point at a break entering into Franks Track. From this spot and around the point on the outside of Franks Track where there was deep water, we caught at least 10 more fish on Jerk baits. There were no fish as we moved further away from the point. We found several more similar points with a school of fish on each. Most of the fish were just under size to just keepers, nothing bigger. We then moved to the back of Sand Mound Slough to see if we could locate a school of stripers. No luck after trying for an hour. Next we moved to the North end of Piper Slough along Franks Track. We immediately started marking fish on the sonar and catching small black bass and striped bass on our jerk baits. On my last cast of the day just as the sun was setting, I hooked and landed a 6 lb. 6 oz striper. We ended the day with well over 40 black bass and 6 stripers.
    City: Pinole

Tips: If you catch one fish at a location stay there, most likely there is a school. As the sun was getting low in the sky, the striped bass bite seemed to turn on. I would assume the same could be said for a good striper bite as the sun was coming up. We also had some striper bites vertical jigging a spoon over fish we were making on the sonar. But we ran out of sun to find out if there was a consistent bite with this technique.

    Water Temp: 58 - 61 degrees

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Luanched the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1" out of Ladd's about 8:30 a.m. and was off the water by 2:30 p.m. A total of 8 LM Bass ( just over 20 lbs 5 fish limit) and 23 stripers today. Started out fishing in Calaveris River today when I spotted all the birds. Used the Delta Schooling Rig (aka "A" Rig), Rat-L-Traps, jigging spoon, and the Robo Worm Easy Shad swimbait w/weighted EWG Gammi. A nice 4 pound LM bass hit my Delta Schooling Rig. After a while I decided to try Dad's Point area and the Turning Basin, nothing there so went back to the Calaveris River to catch more stripers. A 1:00 p.m. I decided to head back to the luanch ramp at Buckley Cove. From the mouth of the cove I fished my way back in using PLines New 6" Kick R Minnow. Cuaght seven more LM Bass along the deep side of the docks, two were in the 6 pound class.
    City: Stockton

Tips: Lost a 10+ pound striper at the boat on my Delta Schooling Rig becuase a snap broke open. I reccomend watching Matt Allan's video about his tips on the "A" Rig. I'm cutting off the snaps and replacing them with split rings for next time.

    Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Following my own safety rules about stormy days and the Custom Valco "BASSBUSTER1", the 12 foot boat stayed in the garage, and I enjoyed bank fishing today between 11:00 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m. Ended up with 8 LM Bass and 3 stripers on PLines new 6" Kick'R Minnow swimbaits. See my forum post about the full details and a bonus catch at the beginning of my day.
    City: Stockton

Tips: Adapt to changing situations and be prepared for any thing........hint...hint....wish I had a net. :-P

    Water Temp: 59-64

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: launched b&w because new hope was filled up by 7:45am...wow, where'd they come from? anyway, hit our fav tule island and dock but managed only a couple keepers and some dinks on cranks... redeye shads, speedtraps, and rebel mid-diver crawfish. moved to sycamore island and managed a few more barely keepers, shaker stripers, and about a 2lber. moved into sycamore for a couple more keeper/dinks and called it a day.
    City: folsom

Tips: nothing to offer...we're just junk fishing right now. 2 bassboats asked us if we had the big'uns' and after we told 'em what we got, i asked how they were doing... both gave me the index fingertip touching the thumb. wow, they were honest! i respect that! but we weren't that much better. what happened? someone please help and post the working pattern for these present conditions.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: First report here I am a Fly guy that has been on the Delta the last 5 years or so. Launched at Buckley and had an hour to kill on the water. Was fishing a large chub/rainbow trout streamer pattern about 7" in length. Had one fish boil right as the fly hit the water and missed him twice. About 15 yards down the bank I hook up to a nice 4.5 LMB. Was the only fish for the night and I was surprised at the lack of birds and Stripers in that area right now.
    City: Lodi

Tips: Was fishing a point with the outgoing tide making a nice seam off it. Big fly = Big fish.

Report: Launched out of Russos and fished around Franks. A pretty steady bite on fish in the 1 lb range all day. Once the tide swung started tossing swimbaits and lipless cranks after stripers and only caught more largies. Ended with 1 shaker.

    Water Temp: 58 - 62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: New Hope was already packed full by 7:30 (late start) so launched B&W 8am...lots of space. Started around the bend at tule island and dock...water was 58deg...nothing on topwater, cranks, senkos, staysee. moved down to next tule strips...still nothing on our offerings. went up to island at sycamore where the water was 61...and started picking up an occasional dink and a couple barely keepers. went into sycamore, water was 63, and saw some guys crankin' and looked like they were picking some up so gave 'em lots of room and tried the opposite side but only picked up a couple more barely keepers. salmon were rolling all over the place and guys that were fishing for 'em weren't getting any. moved back up to first spot with the incoming tide and picked up some 18" stripers and a couple more dinks.....that was it.
    City: folsom

Tips: None.... our offerings weren't working and like bassbuster says, probably should have changed up when we realized it wasn't just tough, it was just not working! We changed colors more than we changed offerings. Sure hope someone posts what worked!

Report: Same old story. Lots of dinks on cranks. Couple strippers too. Saw no bait or birds. Tried senko and top water with no luck either. Fished Dutch slough, Big Break, False River and around Brannan in sloughs and the river. Did find some greats spots for the spring.

Tips: Keep moving till you find fish.
