Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Got out early sat morning. I threw a black buzzbait and my partner threw a baby bass spook. Partner caught a few up to 2 1/2 lbs while the buzzbait didn't produce. Topwater bite died so we went straight to punching mats. Fish were biting but not near as aggressively as last week. Did not get the numbers or quality as last week but we were definitely still catching them. Missed a lot of fish because they weren't very aggressive... and also broke one of on 65 lb braid...
City: ModestoTips: Throw a spook or similar lure in the mornings and punch mats when the sun gets higher. When punching let your bait hop a few more times and work it a little slower than you're used to. Pay attention cuz they aren't slamming it like they were a week ago. Also check your line even when fishing braid cuz its very strong but not very abrasion resistant. It will break your heart real quick.

Water Temp: 68 deg
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Was windy at my house and debated to go fishing . Said what the hell told the wife pack up lets go Started fishing out the gate at B&W resort fished tules with sweet beaver black with red flake with no takers threw a few crank baits . with no takers picked up and went North finding a few 2-lbers . lots of boats out skiing headed toward Tower Park stoped at a couple places to try to get out of wind. by the way I got out late @ 11:30 so I can fish the flood. fished bouldin Island north side with 7 total in the 2-3 lb class So Picked up again and was heading to tower park my wife noticed some one waving a flag at us . I did not want to look, but figured it might be a emergency. I know whats going to happen. yep ,,ran out of gas!!thery ran out of gas in there wake board boat being the bass fisherman I am .I wanted to say, stick where the sun don't shine but did not.I towed them to Tower park.Did continue to beat the water to a froth with minimum results fishing is tough right now . I did get on a good pattern with Pumpkin /blake flake ZOOM worm 6" with twist tail texas style .They loved it and were all over it . Think I would of caught some quality fish if I had more time to fish and the wind started blowing really hard later in the evening. Going to go out next weekend and give it a go . tight lines to all c ya on the water
City: ElmiraTips: Carry a Phone # for vessel assist on you to give to water skiers running out of gas....Try to get on a pattern and stick with it .. try to plan to fish the tides at the right time. I personaly like the flood coming in from a really low tide, fish seem to be more active the last 3 hrs of flood. On really low tides try to find deeper edges fish really slow during low tides . I use bass pro shop "bass attractent" on my worms .

Water Temp: 72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I got started 11am from B&W and all the skier were out mucking up my spots. I knew I had to fish deeper. As I riged up by an island a friend stoped by and said the bite was off a bit.I gave him one of my best crankbaits wished him well. I found some nice spottedbass drop shoting in 12ft at Tower Park. The south mokelumne sloughs were pack with bass boats so I fished the only the major points. the fish were NOT right at the points today(it took me a while to figure them out),I found most of the fish on the upstream side of the sloughs (in comming tide). It took about 25 cast to get then fired up. I cranked for most of them and when grass got to sticky I use my spinner bait. most of them were 1 to 2 lb but real fun, a nice red eye almost took me to school. I started looking for bigger bites, I started tossing a big dbl wide beaver. caught two pigs by wimpys, one was a good 7Lb+. I started yelling never give up like Ike, but only ducks were watching.
City: rio vistaTips: I know there is fish all over the delta, for numbers use moving baits, for size beef it up. the two pigs i landed were 2 hours apart with no other bite and in 7ft eddys. now I just need to do this when it counts. my colors are orange craw and shad for moving and black/bue,punkin for plastic. dont fight the skier just move, when IM angry I dont fish right. well be safe and my back seat is always open God Bless.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started off throwing topwater in the morning at high tide and only got dinks. Tried cranking riprap and only got one decent bass.... and about a 6 lb salmon on a speed trap right against the tules! Weirdest thing I've ever seen. Got pics to prove it. Tide started going out and we started punching. Didn't do very well until tide got fairly low then we started catching some quality fish including one over 5 lbs. Got off the water around noon. Got hot and the "bros" and blaring rap music got outta control.
City: modestoTips: Punch rig on outgoing low tide. Don't know about high tide...

Water Temp: 72-75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I had a great day on the delta with two fun clients. The top water bite was off the hook in the a.m. as it slowed crank baits and chatter bait produced nice fish for us. We caught 20+ fish up to 5lbs with some real nice 3 lbs fish mixed in the bag. Not too hot, not too windy, not too cold. Awesome day! Water Temp: 74-75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Started in disappointment and my partner catches 8 keeper size fish on a black buzzbait.I was switching between a frog, senco, and a red/ornge lipless crank, got two little blow ups on the frog and lost two small ones on the crank. After about three hours of that we move to franks and nothing there so we move on to fishermens cut. I get a 5lber on the frog, we got a couple decent blow ups on the frogs. after a blow up I immediatly followed up with a punch skirt but they wouldnt ead it. There was alot of activity under the cheese matts, i dunno if they were chasing bluegill or shad but we couldnt get em to eat the frog or punch skirt.
City: modestoTips: Dont think im the guy ya wanna take tips from right now lol im strugglin out here!!qu

Report: Fished White Slough & Disappointment Slough. Caught 13 from dinks to a 6 pounder with best 5 going 15 pounds. Plenty of action on crankbaits and tubes. Big fish hit a sexy shad crank. Also had good results with a red speed trap.
City: StocktonTips: Most were caught tight against banks even at low tide.

Water Temp: 78-79
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I read these reports often so I guess I better contribute. Went out today and started early at low tide punching mats. Had the best luck with hyacinth hydrilla combo on the edge of the hyacinth. Got 4 in the 3-4 lbs range with a few dinks in the mix. Tide came in and wind picked up so I started cranking wind blown rip rap banks with tule clumps. Got a couple more 3 lb fish with a lot of dinks in the mix. Prob around 16 lbs for best 5. Good day for me.
City: modestoTips: 1 1/4 oz punch rig with sprayed grass beaver and punch skirt and delta craw speed trap did it for me. Good luck.

Water Temp: 72+
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got to "pink house" near Widdow Island by first light. stayed 30 minutes, threw everything. NO takers. I'm guessing the 6 otters that call this home have something to do with this. Headed to (south) Mildred Island. Fished tight. Nothing to brag about. Went back to Widdow Island and fished the entrance. Lot's of "followers" and even saw some in 5lb range but only aggressive males hit me. Ended up fishing mouth to Italian slough at high tide and got pounded by 1-2 pounders using green worms. Got hot out so i got the boat back on the trailer around noon. Left the marina and the temp outside was 94 degrees. Too hot to have fun.
Tips: Haven't figured the pattern for low tide yet. High tide is good.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Orwood @3pm. Fished outside of Indian Slough and got a lot bites, but many were pretty dinky. Fished a buzz and frog = 0. Crank and threw swim bait with the same results. My bud started catching them on a Ika. Until the last hour of light most of the fish were 1-2#. He was half of the double we had and they both buried in the weeds. We had to debate whose fish to go after first. He finally relented and we went after my fish first. . Somehow the small senko hook held, as we weed through and pulled out a beautiful 6-10! Then we also got his pounder in. What a great way to finish the day. Ran out of light.
City: orindaTips: Threw reaction baits without a touch. All fish on plastics. Even tho most of the fish are under 2#, it's alot fun.

Report: Hey Stovepipe..thanx for gettin' back to me and sharing the info..very cool of you!
Launched today from New Hope, tried Beaver Slough to start; one blowup/miss on black/yellow frog. Nothing else on senkos/beavers this slough; went straight to our fav Mokulemne tules around the corner from B&W; boated 8 between Bro and Bud; then Tower Marina/Little Potato into Potato for couple more each; then all the way around back to B&W tules for couple more. Good day but all mine were strictly lipless crank (red craw); Bro and Bud mixed bag on plastics, lipless, and spinnerbait.
Thanx again Stovepipe!!
City: folsomTips: Worked outside edge of the weedline for my crankbait hits. Bro and Bud hit tight to tules for senko plastics. Graphed lots of fish during low tide at the weedline and dropoff 7-12'. Dropshot didn't excite them.
