    Water Temp: 77-79

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Big brother and I launched New Hope 7am, missed high tide so went straight to fav tule strips halfway between B&W and Tower Marina/H12 bridge; picked up about 6 or 7 on craw color lipless cranks...couldn't draw interest on speed traps. Bro caught on beaver tail/jighead. I also picked up on darthead/black neon worm, drop-shot/oxblood 6" worm, and senko (confetti kinami and pumpkinseed/chart tail strike king senko lookalike...thought I'd throw something slightly different). Then went up first 1/2 to 1 mile of White Slough; picked up couple more on senko and dropshot...bro got another one on his beaver tail/jighead combo. Forgot how much gas we had (or didn't have) so went back in around 4pm. OK day with lots of dinks and a single limit of 1 to 1.5lbers...hit and miss, no real pattern.
btw..riverat, i was real surprised...this is gonna sound funny, but several ski/board and huge cruiser/pleasure boats slowed down to pass us while we fished...I did the same for other boats....the only boats that didn't slow down as they passed were.........bass boats....and I waved to them and they just looked and ignored me. guess maybe cuz i was in a deepv and not a ranger/triton/nitro/etc etc. oh wait, a couple did wave back. well, sometimes people are concentratin' on maintaining control of their boats while at high-speed, yeah? well, that's one way to look at it so I don't get too upset. :) tight lines everyone. deepv's fish4 and catch bass too!
    City: folsom

Tips: try everything worth trying...every time i turned around, my big bro was changing up...and sooner or later, he was settin' a hook. so be willin' to change up and don't get stuck or limit your options.

Report: Started out early with the high tide. Did very will on a small lunker punker between the bank and the weeds. The topwater bite has been on lately. This is my third trip in a week with topwater being the ticket. Lots of solid fish. Did manage to score one Striper to 10 lbs.
    City: farmington

Tips: Work the banks on high tides. work the weed edges on low tides. enjoy the topwater while it lasts.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Me and my buddy launched around 6am and caught about 10 up to 3lbs before 10am. I was fishing cranks and spinners shallow around docks in Discovery Bay early on. Then after that didn't manage to boat a single one. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to throw later in the afternoon.

Later, I caught one around 15 lbs. Got off the water at 9:00A since he had to go to work. We also hooked and lost 3 other stripers.

    Water Temp: 77

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: STARTED FISHING @1030AM, LAUNCHED OUT OF ORWOOD.
STARTED FISHING IN KELLOG, NOTICED BABY DUCKLINGS AND A TON OF FRY???? WHATS GOING ON?? SHOULDN'T HAVE THIS TAKEN PLACE 3 MONTHS AGO? NO WONDER FISHING IS SO TOUGH NOW. I DID WIND UP CATCHING A SMALL LIMIT IN WOODARD AND OLD RIVER, MAYBE 13#S FOR 5. MOST FISH CAME ON DELTA SPEED TRAPS, DID GET ONE FISH ABOUT 4#s ON A WHITE FROG.

Tips: COVER ALOT OF WATER, LOOK FOR SHADED POCKETS WHEN THROWING THE FROG. I DID MISS MY SHARE, BUT I THINK THEY WERE JUST PLAYING WITH IT.

Report: Went out about 4 times the past three weeks. Fished mildred, connection slough, and franks tract. Each trip we pulled anywhere from 6-8 bass. Most of them were small but we were able to catch a couple 4 poudners. One on a small crank and the other on drop shot. The frog bite was dead for me, everywhere.
    City: pleasant hill

Tips: We caught our fish on senkos, drop shots, punching beavers, and a couple on my favorite wake bait ;)

Report: wow it's been a while since i've been fishing on the delta due to heavy traffic of ski boats n all. Fishing sunday in n around slough hoping to get awayz from skiers but that didn't happen. Caugh 2 keeper n 6-7 dinks. Caught them on top water, drop shot, wacky, n frog. It got pretty crazy out there so we decided to switch over to striper with no luck
    City: elk grove

Tips: Get out early n get back in b4 all hell break loose. Ski boat pulling skiers behind them n take the middle of the river n won't allow u to pass. Wat could one do but wait behind them til skier fall or they pick a side. I swear some of the ski boat people got no respect for others boater. When Skier falls we slow down n give them distance. When we fish the come along aside of us n causing big waves , which them wake boat have the the means to do and cause us to fall over n get our boat all wet. I swear sometime i just wanna cast a rattle trap across someones face to give them a lesson...rattle trap 101..tips today is to stay kool n focus..haha..words to ya motha

Report: Ray, Delta is windy most of the time no matter where you go. We usually launch from New Hope on the north end and in 'the meadows' area there's alot of islands and trees that block wind...fishing can be hot/cold but you gotta watch the tides because the low tide can ground you.
    City: folsom

Tips: because i'm on a deepv and my trolling motor is only 55lbs, i anchor on good spots and sometimes a single anchor just drags anyway so at least it slows me down on a drift. if i want to stay there, i double anchor.

Report: I'm a new boat owner, and trying to get used to the waters. I have fished Clear Lake with some luck, but the 2 hour drive gets old. I'm about an hour from numerous ramps on the delta, so I though I would give Franks Tract a try, but the wind...WOW!! The wind was so bad, and was told it blows a lot this time of the year. Is there a place on the delta that is out of the wind this time of the year.

    Water Temp: ~70-72

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went three times this past week with varying ranges of success/failures. In the mornings and an outgoing tide I have had luck with Pop-Rs and white frogs. No luck on the buzz bait except for it the evening with an incoming tide.

After the topwater bite stops I have had some success finding small-medium sized fish with weightless TX rigged Senkos right up next to the tullies. Black has worked the best but have also had some luck with purple.

During the heat of the day, find any type of shade and fish the hell out it. Drop shot, wacky rig, etc. they are there you are just going to have to try and convince them to bite. If you make a loud cast leave the area for a couple of minutes and return back.

I have really had some tough luck fishing low tide. Only places I have found them is in about 12-15 feet of water and with no pattern or consistency.
    City: Livermore

Tips: Try some different sized and colored plastics.
