Water Temp: 71
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Luanched out of Holland Tract about 8am. Weather was overcast and calm My son Evan and I headed out to the main channel to the tules. Evan used a single colorado blade chartreuse spinnerbait while I tossed a ribbit frog in the tules and switched to a crankbait outside the weed line. I caught 1 while Evan caught 3 or 4, all small. Wind picked up and we fished the surface weeds Evan caught a few more dinks on a chartreuse buzzbait with one giant blowup that he missed. Ended the day about 1pm. Total, me 1, Evan 9 or 10. As usual it ended up the student teaching the teacher.
Good Luck, Have Fun And Be SafeTips: Boating safety tip.I have a plastic wire tie attached to the end of my kill switch line. When moving I loop the wire tie over my wrist. It won't interfere with your steering and it may just save your life.

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went fishing on the Delta the other day. It was probably one of the best days I ever fished on the Delta. Not a lot of big fish, just a lot of fun. It seemed like every bait I threw worked. Presented my bait at all levels and it didn't seem to matter, not sure where the fish were sitting, but they didn't care. Wind did kick up a bit towards the end of the day and it just helped me get back quicker. Thought it was kind of interesting while I was fishing one area that about 10 boats pulled up to this one spot, then fished a while and took off. Hmmm.....must be something going on there.
City: Santa RosaTips: Stay focused, fish as many areas as you can and don't leave one fish behind. Fish deep, but don't rule out the top water.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Lauched out of Holland Tract 9:30 am. Leaving the marina I fished the tules with spinnerbaits and strike king lipless hardbaits in sexy shad. Caught 4, nothing big and 3 of them came unbuttoned at the boat. Definately not aggresive, The remainder of the morning was around a rock wall and used 7in. berkely power worms in red shad. Biggest fish went 3 lbs.
9 fish total. Nothing to write home about but no one there knows how to read anyway. I go for the fun and I got just that.
Good Luck All

Report: Took pop out fishing from 4-8pm n found bass right away. Caught them on swimbait, plastic worm, buzz, drop shot, and frog. Some where in fallen trees but most where in front or behind weed beds. They look heatlhy as heck, fat n nice looking. Froggie caught all the biggy.
City: elk groveTips: nothing on spinner(kinda wierd cuz around tree it's alwyz a killa for me) and nothing on crank. MOst fish were in shade pocket n when sun is low..froggie got the most hits, 4 hits on one spot but was able to set hook on two..boy did they ever wanted the frog. Hit froggie 1 foot in the air n swallow it...soo sick. Got pop laughing on the backseat.. Fishing with pop n make him laugh=priceless !!

Report: Hey hitchhiker...where do you float tube? My buddy and I tube all over the delta. Got some awesome spots that have turned off recently. All I can find now are smaller bass to about 4 pounds and stripers. Fished Italian slough for 2 hours...only managed 8 stripers to 21". No bass, but the stripers slaughtered swimbaits and vixon's.
City: AntiochTips: Topwater before first light, then swimbaits outside the weedline.

Water Temp: 68-72
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: What a windy, cold and wet morning for the anglers of Basin Bassmasters. The day started out dark and wet, dark clouds. I headed over to my first shot with my partner Bonner Veasman. He was using a Buzz bait and boated our first five, let them take it before you set the hook.
One came on a chatter bait. I then replaced three with a black/blue Senko off rocks in 3-8 ft. Stay with the tide moving. Later we moved into Sicamore and called out three more. At the weigh in we had a bag of 13.25 lbs and the winners bag was 15.50 lbs with a 8.12 lb kicker that came off a sped trap craw color.
City: RocklinTips: spinner baits, chatter baits, crankin and Senkos.

Water Temp: 77-79
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Big brother and I launched New Hope 7am, missed high tide so went straight to fav tule strips halfway between B&W and Tower Marina/H12 bridge; picked up about 6 or 7 on craw color lipless cranks...couldn't draw interest on speed traps. Bro caught on beaver tail/jighead. I also picked up on darthead/black neon worm, drop-shot/oxblood 6" worm, and senko (confetti kinami and pumpkinseed/chart tail strike king senko lookalike...thought I'd throw something slightly different). Then went up first 1/2 to 1 mile of White Slough; picked up couple more on senko and dropshot...bro got another one on his beaver tail/jighead combo. Forgot how much gas we had (or didn't have) so went back in around 4pm. OK day with lots of dinks and a single limit of 1 to 1.5lbers...hit and miss, no real pattern.
btw..riverat, i was real surprised...this is gonna sound funny, but several ski/board and huge cruiser/pleasure boats slowed down to pass us while we fished...I did the same for other boats....the only boats that didn't slow down as they passed were.........bass boats....and I waved to them and they just looked and ignored me. guess maybe cuz i was in a deepv and not a ranger/triton/nitro/etc etc. oh wait, a couple did wave back. well, sometimes people are concentratin' on maintaining control of their boats while at high-speed, yeah? well, that's one way to look at it so I don't get too upset. :) tight lines everyone. deepv's fish4 and catch bass too!
City: folsomTips: try everything worth trying...every time i turned around, my big bro was changing up...and sooner or later, he was settin' a hook. so be willin' to change up and don't get stuck or limit your options.

Report: Started out early with the high tide. Did very will on a small lunker punker between the bank and the weeds. The topwater bite has been on lately. This is my third trip in a week with topwater being the ticket. Lots of solid fish. Did manage to score one Striper to 10 lbs.
City: farmingtonTips: Work the banks on high tides. work the weed edges on low tides. enjoy the topwater while it lasts.

Report: Me and my buddy launched around 6am and caught about 10 up to 3lbs before 10am. I was fishing cranks and spinners shallow around docks in Discovery Bay early on. Then after that didn't manage to boat a single one. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to throw later in the afternoon.

Report: Fished Montezuma Slough for stripers. On the water at 6:00A. Within 10 minutes of reaching my friend's favorite spot, I caught a 8 lber and he caught a 6 lber. Later, I caught one around 15 lbs. Got off the water at 9:00A since he had to go to work. We also hooked and lost 3 other stripers.
City: DixonTips: Used 1.5 oz Rat L Trap and white hair raisers.

Report: STARTED FISHING @1030AM, LAUNCHED OUT OF ORWOOD.
STARTED FISHING IN KELLOG, NOTICED BABY DUCKLINGS AND A TON OF FRY???? WHATS GOING ON?? SHOULDN'T HAVE THIS TAKEN PLACE 3 MONTHS AGO? NO WONDER FISHING IS SO TOUGH NOW. I DID WIND UP CATCHING A SMALL LIMIT IN WOODARD AND OLD RIVER, MAYBE 13#S FOR 5. MOST FISH CAME ON DELTA SPEED TRAPS, DID GET ONE FISH ABOUT 4#s ON A WHITE FROG.Tips: COVER ALOT OF WATER, LOOK FOR SHADED POCKETS WHEN THROWING THE FROG. I DID MISS MY SHARE, BUT I THINK THEY WERE JUST PLAYING WITH IT.
