Report: Fished Chabot again on saturday with my buddy 6th St. Todd. Got out about 6:30 am and hit the tules in honker bay irst thing. Absolutly no action to be had. Tried senkos but couldn't even get a bump. Moved to other ork and began working weedline edges in ront o the docks. Stuck a 5 lber on a deep diving crankbait and lost another about 2 lbs. Moved up to the point near the the dam and hooked into one about 8 or 9 lbs but lost her at the boat. Man was that a TOAD. Maybe not up to the size that ryan pulls out o there but she was the biggest I've ever hooked into. Nothing or my partner this time. This lake seems to change every time I ish it so don't be araid to try something new.

Report: went out in my loat tube today with a buddy o mine. i took about three cast beore i had a ish o a lie time on. i did not see the ish bite but i just had a eeling it did. so i set it and it darted right by me i saw it good. it was a good 9 through 11 pounder. it went went deep and tangled me up on somethin and snapped me o. later we tried shaken crawdads on submerged structurein honker bay. we each lost a good ish like 3lbs each. no little ish lately

Tips: i would suggest trying something new. i have ound that the best thing or chabot is to just experiment. the may hit a spinnerbait one day but the next day they wont want anything to do with a spinnerbait. they might like crankbaits one day , but not the next. just keep trying new things
