Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I came here for a couple of hours and caught my limit of trout near Indian cove on the old powerbait/nightcrawler combo. I was also tossin lures with no luck.
City: FremontTips: I always use some kind of scent or attractant on my bait and my lures. It makes the difference between catchin 0-2 fish to catchin your limit. Good luck.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the point near indian cove from about 9am to about 12. Got skunked, only one small bite. Was fishing night crawler/marshmallo and crawler/powerbait.
City: FremontTips: Bring Power Eggs, that seems to be the only thing that works for trout here right now.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: First time back here since June. I didn't do as well as last time, I only caught two trout that were about 1.5 lbs off of white power eggs and a night crawler. I fished from about 1pm to 5 on the first dock on the east shore. I was tossin kastmasters and different types of small crank baits and I couldn't get them to bite off any lures.

Fished honker bay side of the lake for about 1 hour. caught one bass on a drop shot near the main point (near the big island). Worked the bait outside of the weedline and it was a good fight. fun times

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: We started fishing around 7:30pm to the left of the first dock on the left side. We caught 4 trout on white power eggs and nightcrawlers, would've had 5 but he got away. They were all about 1.5 to 2lbs. Didn't see anybody on the dock catchin anything. Tried for bass with a senko, didn't catch any.
City: FremontTips: Get some Pro Cure attractant. Trophy Trout or Crawfish and Garlic flavor work well.

Report: I caught a 3 lb bass today with an EBMUD tag attached to it. I released the fish but memorized the number on the tag. Is there somewhere you should report the number to? Does anybody know why they tag the fish?

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Me,my buddy, and our kids went up for about 6 hours. We got on the lake at about 7am. We were trolling along the shore and near rocks. Around 8:30 my daughter had a bite, but it jumped off the hook. At about 10am my dauter had another bite when we were trolling along the tule using a yellow spinner about 3feet deep, and this time she had it. It was about 13inches and about 1.6 pounds. We let it go and moved on.For her thats a pretty big fish. Later at 11:15 my buddies daughter caught a small hatcher trout in a cove. As my buddy was helping his daughter his pole began bending. Found out he had a 2pound, female, trout on his line in the same excact spot, must have been related. At 1 we left to BBQ some trout. Was an OK day over all.
City: Rohnert PakTips: troll slow in coves and along the shore. If fishing off the shore worms seemed to be working.
GOOD LUCK!

Water Temp: 73
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: John landed three bass yesterday (4+, 2.5, and 1.5) and I landed three today (3+, 2+, and 1.5). We're getting them on Carolina-rigged lizards and dark jigs/trailers in 12'- 15' of water. Seems the bass have pulled back off the banks. Lots of fry visible so a lot of spawning has already happened. John saw many bass in the shallows yesterday, but today they had moved deeper.
City: MontereyTips: Very slow presentations seem to work best right now. Because the water is so clear, we found long casts worked best.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: There's a butt load of catfish in honkerbay. Walk down past raccoon pt. and fish about 200 yards before the foot bridge. Best bait is mackeral second liver. The morning bite goes from as early as you can get there until about 8am. The evening bite gets hot at sunset and lasts as long as you want to stay. I've caught up to 10 in a day in honkerbay. If you rent a boat you can get them all day long by throwing cut bait into the tulies and moving every 15 mins without a bite. They school up around those tulie islands. Peace

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out and rented a boat with a 0-3mph wind, sunny skies, was unsuccessful in getting any bites for about 2 hrs, senko, swimbaits, jig. continued past bass cove, noticed 2 10lbs suspended above some grass. stuck with the senko, and managed to get a bite-big one. set the hook, fight is on for bout 20 sec. then he desides to jump, spit me out. fish would have went 9 or 10 lbs. owell back to dock to call it a day.
City: castro valleyTips: stick with the senko, swimbaits suck

Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Tough bite for bass on Saturday and Sunday. Son, John, and I fished from rental boats for five hours each day and produced only two bass. On Saturday, I scraped out a nice 3 lb 10 oz bass taken on a black Swimming Senko rigged on a 3/8 oz. Jobe head. The fish came from 15 feet deep off the end of a sunken tree. On Sunday, John landed a nice 2 1/2 lb bass using a black/blue jig right up against the tules in a patch where there is a few feet of depth on the outside of the tules.
Many casts with swimbaits, lizards, salamanders, jigs, drop-shotted wacky-rigged 5-inch Senko's, crankbaits and buzzbaits yielded no bites. We fished the west shoreline from the dam back to just south of Coot's Landing. It's frustrating not getting bites from the smaller bass which must be there, while trying for the lunkers that are definitely in the lake.
City: MontereyTips: We did see some large (10+) bass cruising in the shallows, some with smaller bass accompanying them, but no beds were visible yet. If there is any spawning occurring on that side of the lake, it's in the dark zone not visible from the surface. Fan-casting into that zone is what produced my fish.

Report: Fished Alder Point for 2 hours and got 4 nice LM bass with largest weighing 4 lbs 3 oz. Silver fluke and brown worms both worked well. Used my fish finder to locate the fish fairly deep near the point. Tried spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and trout-pattern swimbaits but no success.
City: RichmondTips: Fish are suspended around dropoffs between 10 and 20 ft. Drop shot or fluke with a 5/0 hook should get you a few decent catches.
Catch and release!!!

Report: Fished at Chabot for a couple ours or so and didn't catch a thing. Used powerbait and some pieces corn and not even a hit. Moved to a new spot and fished for about an hour with no results. Switched to worm and got a giant hit like 3 minutes later. Fish didn't stick, but the worm def. works better than power bait, try it.
City: FremontTips: Worms worms and worms.

Report: Got a nice 3-lb LM bass with a white spinnerbait and my nightcrawlers got me many nibbles and a 2-lb LM bass at Alder Point.
City: RichmondTips: Look for tullies and weedlines and use spinnerbaits, senkos, and crankbaits. When all fail, use nightcrawlers.
