    Water Temp: 63

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Water is up, clearing, carp are spawning in shallows and near tops of tule's. Senko (or knockoffs') in watermelon colors were the ticket.
Caught a kayak full of fish to 2.5 lbs. Missed alot due to soft bite. Roboworms got lots of bite's, but all dinks. Fished the cove opposite
the ramp, didn't leave for 4 hrs, just went round in circles. I think with the water where it is, spinner baits might be worth trying reel soon.
    City: Oakley

Tips: Senko, Senko, Senko !!!! This lake loves that bait. Late spring here will bring big, big, numbers of fish (crappie and sunfish too!) There are a few nice bass 5 lbs+, if the water stays
high the launch ramp will be happening in May.
Fishing from a float tube or kayak is a blast,
not to mention a perfect way to fish this boat shy lake.

    Water Temp: 64

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Went striaght to the left end of the damn if you're facing it from the launch. Caught a 1 pounder on a orange jig and pig on the damn. Worked the shoreline in the backs of the two main coves on the left side. Caught a few 1.5 pounders on a green Gary Yamamoto lizard with 5/16 oz. wieghts, just enough to get it to the bottom. The fish were pretty shallow, i caught all of them in about 3-5 feet. The bites were really soft these fish would just mouth the lizards.
    City: Pleasant Hill

Tips: Drag creatures through the spawning beds.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished 3.5 hours in the evening (till 7) Got one female about 3.6 right off the bat on a Super Fluke in Baby Bass, and a 1.5 and lost another about the same size on a Bold Bluegill 6in RoboWorm dropshoting isolated cover. The lake is still down about 4.5-5.0 feet and has little cover no fish I saw were up spawning and the lake is still fairly muddy. Lets hope it comes back up soon.

    Water Temp: 58-62

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I fished for about 3 hours with my nephew, i managed to catch a 5.1 beautiful largemouth near the island,on a grape plastic worm, I released her after taking several pictures. The only other fish we caught was a ten inch dink on a brown jig, near the third dock. It was extremely windy out. IT REALLY CONCERNS ME THAT THE WATER HAS BEEN KEPT THIS LOW, IT SEEMS TO HAVE CONTINUED TO DROP SINCE MY LAST VISIT IN FEBRUARY. IF THIS KEEPS UP IT WILL RUIN THE BASS FISHING FOR YEARS TO COME. VERY FEW OF THE BASS FRY WILL SURVIVE.
    City: antioch

Tips: Fish the deeper weedbeds, with the water being low, all tules are out of the water. water is stained use brighter colored plastics. HOPE THAT THE POWERS THAT BE, LET THE LAKE FILL UP.

    Water Temp: 58-60

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out about 10:00. Started throwing a black and red Bobby D jig with a reaction innovations sweet beaver trailer black and red. Stop at the first cove to the right of the lagoon and worker a weed bed in about 3ft of water. I got bumps on the jig but no big takers. Then followed it up with a Grey Ghost worm in green, and bam the fish showed up. I got 3 in about ten minutes all about 2.5 to 3lbs. Saw a lot of bed fish some are very spooky, in fact all of them. The ones I caught I had a good angle on so they didnt see me. I saw a fish just pass the the third dock that looked like a whale. The fish was easily ten plus. She swam off and I could still see her in 3ft of stained water, and the male that was with her looked a solid five. She was way to spooked to be caught. There are already fry and baby bass swimming around so if you arent on the lake now your gonna miss out.
    City: Oakley

Tips: Get some good polarized glasses and pay attention to water swirls and splashes the fish will tell you where they are. And be patient good fishin

    Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: late aternoon, partly cloudy. Fishing the point on the south side between the swimming pool and Tule island hooked a 5# bass on a panther martin #4 holographic. It was quite a ride since I was targeting trout w/ ultra-light tackle. This is the third 3#+ bass I've caught on a trout spinner since Thanksgiving. It was on the retrieve and not the all. Also earlier that day I got a CARP in the small cove on the west side. I didn't even know there were carp in here. Should we be releasing Carp? I also noticed large schools o extremely small(1-1.5") shad swimming just under the surace. Perhaps the bucket mouths are relating to the miniature bait ish. It looks like we're going back to yellow alert, so perhaps they'll let uslauch again soon

Glad I didnt stick him thoughlast thing I need os to take the hooks out o some carnivorous duck har. Fish are relating to rocks but with the terror alert at HIGH they wont let boats or loat tubes on the water so good luck ishin the dam or any other rocks rom shore, plan on loseing some jigs texas and carolina rigs.Tom

Report: Hey Phil...well, my 10.3lb bass is the Oicial Lake Record. I've had 3 guys tell me that they've caught an 11lbers out o there, and quite personally...I believe them. One guy showed me a pic o his "11" and to me it looked every bit o 11lbs. So, whether or not anyone has REALLY caught a bass over my 10.3lber, is just pure speculation. Fact is, they didn't go and get their ish weighed on the scale at the ranger's station. Can't have a lake record without getting it oicially weighed. lol. You can check their records i you want, and or the Largemouth Bass lake record, you'll see my name with 10.3lbs. Frankly, I was very surprised when they told me I had the lake record with 10.3lbs. I KNOW there's much bigger ish in the lake.
