    Water Temp: 52-56

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Mr. Fishaholic, The crappie fisherman I saw was using a dropshot rig in the brush piles in the southend.Try some red&wht. or chart.& wht. crappie jigs on 4lb. line and work it around brush piles and in the back of coves. They should be trying to spawn right now. If you catch one they should be bunched up in that area. Goodluck!

Report: Mr. Kalihi boy, you mentioned you saw a guy catch some crappie. Do you know if he was using a bobber? I'm planning to fish for some trout on monday. If the trout fishing sucks, I figure I try for some crappie. I've never fished for crappie in this lake before.

    Water Temp: 49-56

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Lake is on the rise and fish are starting to move into the shallows. Started throwing reaction baits in the morning on flats with no takers, then went jigging on steep rock banks working 5 down to 40 ft. not even a tap. So I went looking for the warmest water I could find and found it in the backs of coves and the south end. Put on a brushhog(sourgrape)1/2oz. tungsten(peged) and just went flipin'. Got 5 bites in 2 ft. of water around wood, landed 4 up to 4lbs. Quit around 2pm.I saw a guy land some nice crappie...I'll have my crappie jigs next time.
    City: Fremont

Tips: If we get consistent weather the fishing should start picking up. Goodluck!

    Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Nice day on the lake. Caught 8 bass up to 3.5 lbs. Caught 3 on shallow crank bait and 5 on drop shot. All fish were in 12 ft of water or less along steep rocky shoreline. Recent trout plant had a lot of boats out at the south end by the swimming area. Bite actually turned on after 2:00 when the water warmed up. AM bite was very slow.
    City: Foster City

Tips: Cover a lot of water with crank bait. Slow down with drop shot when you find fish. Better fishing in the PM when the water warms up a deg or 2.

    Water Temp: 63

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished PM from 1:00-5:00 and boated 9 bass. Caught 8 LM and one smallie (3lbs). All good keepers. Largest LM was just under 4lbs. All but one fish were caught on top water. Took one nice LM on drop shot. Fish were all shallow 1-6ft along the weed edges. Overcast sky and calm water turned the top water bite on. Should have been perfect weather for crank bait and I threw it all day and not a single bite.
    City: Foster City

Tips: When conditions are right even if it is mid day try top water. Have a senko or drop shot handy for fish you miss. Fish shallow along the weed lines alternating between top water and drop shot or other plastics.

Tips: Soft plastics shallow along the weed edges. Switch to top water when the sun starts to go behind the hills.

Caught a few on shallow crank bait, then senko and finally drop shot. Nothing on C-rig or split shot worm. The bite really slowed after 10:30AM. Not a bad day. Talked to another guy in a Tracker that had a tough bite. All my fish were shallow 3-10ft.

Report: Went out early Monday trying to beat the crowd but didn't see many boats bass fishing. After a couple of hours I can see why. Report: fished for trout of the bank south end. Tough, tough, tough conditions. Believe fish are deep right now and since the water is wayyyyyyyyyy up beyond full you need a shotgun to shoot your line out where is needs to be. Only saw 4 fish caught all day and the bank was lined with people.
