Water Temp: 74-78
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: what cna i say. fishing sucked Sunday but thats ok still had a good time. Caught one trout and a couple bluegill for some reason. Also caught about 8 bass that were as big as a jar of power bait. haha. out on the boat and put on a night crawler. threw it towards the weedline that del valle has now for some reason and it sank to the bottom and hold on the rod almost flew out of my hands, started reeling and the fish spit it. reeled up and threw it to the same spot and damn hold on again. the fish was pulling line like there was no tomorrow. ran dep into teh weeds and got me stuck and i broke off. would have loved to see the fish to know if it was a big bass, striper or big cat. oh well thats fishin
City: CampbellTips: waters wayyyyyyy hot. have fun

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I am camping at Del Valle this week. I heard there is an Quaggula inspection. How does this work and what are the fees?
Also, I have never fished Del Valle before for stripers and blacks. Can some one provide me some insight? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also read they have a 10 mph limit. How do I determine this if my speedometer is broken? LOL...

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from 6AM to 1PM today and caught two fish. Caught an aprox. 1 lbs largemouth off of a green x-mas colored roboworm drop-shotted while drifting, located not far from the boat launch in front of some reeds. Caught a 1.5 lbs largemouth at the middle of the dam with a silver rat-l-trap.
City: Livermore, CATips: Fish before noon and later in the evening so you don't cook!

Water Temp: 72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished from noon till 4:00PM. Should have arrived earlier before the overcast cleared and the raging wind started to blow. Caught 5 very nice 3lbs range LM on carolina senko. The pattern was wind blown creek channel weed points. They were well inside the weed edge in 5-10ft of water tight to the cover. Tried crank and spinner but no reaction bite. Was happy not to get skunked with the conditions and not being able to keep good contact with the line/bait.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish early before the wind kicks in. Work weed points with whatever soft plastic you are confident in that you can drag through the weeds.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went fishing in my float tube from 10 AM to 3 PM. No luck at all. It was a little too windy for a float tube today. I fished into the reeds on each side of the south shore beach and across from it on the point with a texas-rigged senko and roboworms, and a crankbait around a submerged tree.
City: Livermore, CATips: Don't be an idiot like me by using a float tube in the wind! I spent more time fighting the wind than I did actual fishing...

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: does anyone troll with downriggers here? I have never been here before, if so, where at, the dam? or around the boat launch in the south end. Just wondering, I have a little brother and my cousin I want to get on some trout. I don't care about the size I just wanna hook up. Any tips would be appreciated

Water Temp: 59 degrees
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: wow... the water is up and clear. 10 foot visibility. no weedline yet. beautiful weather in the 80's. the lake was busy. a lot of boats and a lot of trout fishermen. two trout on rattletrap. 5 bass on dropshot. caught all the fish before 10am. rescued one kayaker in the middle of the narrows... he was not in his boat. off the water by 1pm. waiting for the water to warm up.
City: FremontTips: looks like i'll be trout fishing, until the water warms up.

Water Temp: Not Exactly Sur
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Pretty Windy like Steve L. said. Made detecting bites kinda difficult but a buddy and I were able to land three of six fish we enticed (or at least the bait enticed) to bite. All bows. Two in the 14" class and another that was about 2lbs. Wish it weren't as windy but oh well. Water level's come up a bit so some of that nice structure is back underwater for Bass. Happy Hunting.
City: Walnut CreekTips: White Power Egg and white floating Power Worm (cut to about 2") on a size 14 treble seems to do the trick great. Previously caught our limit on 2/28 fishing this combo.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got Skunked, so did everyone else I talked to. Fished for trout and crappie. It was windy as hell.
City: FremontTips: Sorry to hear about your dog, Spoony. People can get real stupid with their dogs at this lake. Next time don't hesitate to defend your dog, I know I wouldn't. Here's a tip for you dog owners: keep your dog on the damn leash, unless you want them getting into fights or getting a mouth full of hooks. Most of you do not have good control over your dogs, so stop pretending to.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I have a Lab I take walking there. Was attacked by 2 pitbull looking dogs. Guy hopped in his JEEP and took off. Had to have my dog stitched up. The park did nothing. I found the guy and they still did nothing. I told them I will defend my dog from now on.
The rules states no dogs on the beach or water. They do little to enforce.
But quick to take the fees.

Water Temp: 50
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished this lake with 5 guys two boats. One boat got 2 nice size largies and the other got 8, mixture of smb and lmb up to 3 1/2 lbs. Lake got really low and my go-to spots are now exposed outa water. Caught fish on jigs, drop-shots, and one on reaction. I tried swimbaits and spooning but no takers. Fish caught between 20 to 30 ft. water.
City: NewarkTips: Use a good graph when fishing any lake to pin point underground structure. You gotta find the fish first to succeed.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I came here around 3:30 after fishin at shadow cliffs for a couple hours and catchin a 4lb trout in the first 10 minutes and then nothin after that. We fished the south end and I caught 9 trout and my buddy caught 2. They were hittin on pretty much everything i threw at them-spoons, inline spinners, small crankbaits, floating rapalas. It was gettin bite after bite for almost an hour then it died down around 5pm.
City: FremontTips: Most of the trout they plant will stay in or near the south end most of the winter for fear of the stripers in the deeper parts of the lake.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: If your taking your boat make sure there is no water in the live wells, motor, bilge or anywhere else. They are inspecting for Qugga muscles and will not let you launch if they find ANY standing water.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: This is the first time I've been skunked here since my rookie years. Not a good feeling. Didn't even get a bite. I usually fish from the shore on the south end or in the narrows. I've been coming here the past couple of months and catchin a limit of trout almost every time using white power eggs and a night crawler and throwing spoons and kastmasters. Good sized ones too, 2-3 pounders. Best time to fish this time of year is from about 1pm to 5 or 6. No sense gettin up early, the fishing is just as good if not better in the late afternoon to evening. Never had much luck here with bass though.
City: FremontTips: If you guys have any tips on catchin bass or stripers, let me know.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Dingy on the water early. trolled damn area with pilchard plugs. hooked a massive specimen witch spooled my reel. spooled up with dental floss and hoped for a topwater trout bite to bust loose. nothing wood touch my beetle tipped with white corn.
City: newarkTips: next time i'll use cuttyhunk or dacron. bring extra line. i think the mint flaver of the floss didn't attract the trout like i thought it wood. i was exited to learn of rumors of a sleeper pike minnow fishery at this lake.

Water Temp: warm to touch
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Two of my friends and I rented about a bout 6:30am, we were the second ones out to rent a boat.. We tried kastmaster, senkos, jiggs, topwater, everything and about 8:30 I got bit on an anchovy.. It was a nice 2.5-3lb catfish, then shortly after my friends got doubles on a nice stiper and catfish also on anchovys.. Then my friend got another cat, we moved out by the dam I got a cat!! Then...!!!!!!! My friend pulled in a 36" 11 pound striped bass at about 11:00 am!!!!! We had to go after that our stinger was about full and we had no where to keep that monster besides layin on the floor of the boat! If we would have stayed we would have caught even more fish!! But we didnt have another or big enough stringer for the big one. Best day of fishing I ever had!!
City: $an LeandroTips: Get out EARLY and use ANCHOVYs!!!!!! And call me cuz i can't wait to go bak!!!!!
