    Water Temp: 54

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Found some smallmouth bass on gravel beds, some on points and some cruising the back of coves.
Two of us got 8-10 each to 2.75 pounds. All widebodied fat and fiesty. All caught on 4" green pumpkin senkos in 4 to 10 feet of water.
Also talked to another gent who was doing good on small craw colored crankbaits.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Look for gravel near clay banks where wind waves break directly onto shore.
Just because the water's cold don't mean they won't bite!

Tips: Fish appear to be holding to what little cover there is. Lake is VERY low.

    Water Temp: mid 60's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: fished for a couple hours in afternoon, lake is real low, i was lucky enough to catch an 8.2 bass on a brown jig, and pig near the narrows. Only bite i got, (see pix in photo posts, sorry for the botched 3-4 attempts, before i got it right. I fished from shore, throwing crank baits, and of course the jig n pig.
    City: Hayward

Tips: Lake real low, good time to view the exposed breaks, and dropoffs, etc. I took pictures for future use when the lake fills in the spring. My fish bit in deep water off steep shoreline, throw crankbaits, jerk baits, and jigs.

    Water Temp: 64-65

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 6:45 - 11:00. Started by the dam with a ripbait. Had a nice one come unbuttoned at the boat on my second cast. Ended up with 2 decent fish on the ripbait and another on a small crankbait. When the sun hit the water I switched to a dropshot along the wall by the dam. Ended up with about a dozen on the dropshot. Nothing huge with the largest just undedr 3lbs.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Fish are shallow early but move to about 20-25ft once the sun comes up. Try any of your favorite fall baits.

    Water Temp: 66

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I got caught with the rentals being closed too!
Fished the bank in the narrows for 2 smallies and 3 largemouth. Biggest was 3.5 pounds.
Senkos on ledges and rocky dropoffs in about 14 feet of water. Saw a bunch of shad being busted out in the middle. Time for the shadraps and spinners if you have a boat!
    City: San Jose

Tips: Bring your own boat. Jig bite is still on but the fish are chasing shad so reaction bite is starting. Bass are moving out from stucture. Find bait, you've found fish.

Report: Took my two boys out in a rental since my boat is in the shop. First thing in the morning nailed a 2# on a chartruse/silver popper, I swooshed it twice and then had to untangle my 5 year olds worm and then swooshed the popper twice more and WAMM. Nearly scared the hell out of me(not expecting it). Changed over the whole family to drop shotting purple robo worms and landed 4 more small mouth 1-2#. off the water by 11:00 am (I think every one was glad, cause all the noise we were making).
    City: san ramon

Tips: Bring one child at a time if you are by yourself

Report: Not as action packed as we would have liked it but it was OK. The sun was shining bright by pretty much 6:30am so we had a feeling it would be tough. Got a few blow ups on frogs with nothing connecting. Got a senko fish and the rest on drop shot. Fished until about 11:30 since it was heating up really quick out there. We got a couple shorts a few keepers and one good one at around 5lbs.
    City: San Carlos

Tips: Couldn't really come up with anything consistent but all the good fish came around the dam. Lots of baitfish around so we had success on points that had really good ambush spots on em. Not really sure what else to say.

    Water Temp: 77-80

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished the dam and left of the dam using 4 in robo and magic worms in any color i had and caught 12 fish to 4 1/2 lbs, 2 of which were small mouth in 2 feet of water. The 4 1/2 lb was a spawned out female, i saw her in the cove I was catching smaller fish in when I got out of my boat to go to the bath room, the path I took went right next to the cove I was fishing and you could look down and see the smaller fish in the shade, I looked next to the bank and there was the 4-5 lb and a 2 lb 1 foot from the bank with her back almost sticking out of the water, I snuck to the boat got a senko and drop it about 3 feet in front of her and she split with her boyfriend. 5 minutes later I was tossing a 4 in robo worm weighless wacky rigged and she was on, if she was full of eggs or in 2 months she would have gone 6+ easy, I am 6 foot tall and I could put my fist in her mouth. I put her back so she could go back and protect her little ones.
    City: san jose, ca

Tips: I tried drop shot, dart head, and split shot, they would not take it, the only way they would take it was wacky rigged with not weight, you have to watch your line and be patient because it takes a while for the worm to go down but the fish were very shallow feeding on 1 to 1 1/2 in bait fish.

    Water Temp: 69-75

Report: Devil Mt Bassmasters held our July tournament at Del Valle. We had 8 anglers. We found an early morning topwater bite on buzzbaits and poppers around the tulies with weeds. As the sun came up, the bite slowed for us as the fish apparently moved deeper. The wind picked up in the afternnon and really made fishing difficult. Most boaters were crowded around the few areas that were out of the wind. We had one limit of 10+ lbs for our group and several other guys came in with 3 fish a piece. We few had a tough time with one fish each. Our average fish weighed in at 2.06 lbs. Four fish over 3 lbs were brought it. A good time was had by all despite the relatively tough conditions. I got a 5 lb catfish on a senko!
    City: San Ramon

Tips: Try top water over and around the weeds early in the day. These fish are surprisingly strong.

Report: First time on this little lake. How nice to NOT have to deal with all the lake lice that comes out on the holiday weekends.
As for the fishing, it was pretty good with over a dozen nice bass caught most in the 2# range. 1 nice smallie the rest Lgmouth. topwater, senko, and split or drop shottin all worked. Split shottin worked the best. any worm with a little blue or purple seemed to work.
    City: Suisun City

Tips: forget the tules find the laydowns and the rocky shorelines.

    Water Temp: 71

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I went out with a buddy of mine last thursday when that front was in. We tried for smallies on the rock walls early with little sucsess. The wind started to blow so I started throwing my swimbait on the steep walls and laydowns. I was rewarded with a 12 pound pig over the deep tip of a laydown. By the way this was from a float tube.
    City: livermore

Tips: Swimbaits for the pigs. Dart heads, drop shots and tubes for both largemout and small mouth
