Report: Last night we got on the lake at 6 pm and started in the 5mph area work the west bank sack to the bouy line and we caught 31 bass inside the 5mph area all on jigs the bass in that area were between 1 & 1 1/2 pounds. Then we move out to the main cove under ranger station and work back down the east bank too the ramp we caught 19 more bass 17 were still in the 1 to 1 1/2 pound range we did manage to land 2 that were 5 1/2 & 3 1/2 pounds for are two biggest fish. All in all the little bass were a blast to catch alot of the fish made several jumps out of the water. We got off the lake at 2:45 am all the fish were jig fish and all came in 5 to 25 feet of water. We talk the a few other on the water two anglers in different boats both had some good bass big bass for one angler went 7 1/2 pounds.

    Water Temp: 74.5 to 76.0

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We got on the lake at 7:15 pm last night again it was windy but the bite was good. Bass were in 8 to 20 feet of water and all are fish were caught on jigs. We had 17 bass 6 of them weight in at between 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds. Bullet head jigs in pumpkin green/black green crystal or bullet head jigs in junebug both worked. They were 1/4oz. jigs and 4" yamamoto twin tail grub trailers. We got off the lake at 12:45 am. All the bass were caught in the 5mph area.
    City: madera ca.

Tips: isolated rock piles long points flats nite time fishing has been very good on jigs. 1/4oz bullet head & 3/8 & 1/2oz.football head both work ive been using bullet heads for most of my fishing now im only tying them with 20 strands of silicone or one pad it make a difference and exposing the trailer works well.

    City: madera

Tips: 1/8oz or 1/4oz jigs and 4" twin tail grub trailers we caught alot of the bass the last two by swimming the 1/4oz bullet head jig fishing them slow and bumping the bottom im using spinning outfits 6'6" med heavy rods and 8 lbs maxima line. the 1/8oz jig is more finesse it also worked but swimmin that 1/4oz bullet work better

Tips: Good reaction bite. Bass are still shallow. Lots of smaller bass but a few bigger bass available. Vertical cast along the shore and focus on points as well.

Report: What a mess. Parking lots full and boats everywhere. No place to fish or park on this small lake.
Pressure is making the bite turn off.
I wouldn`t make a long drive to come here, there are too many other lakes getting good now.

    Water Temp: 52-56

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Crystal Clear water. Amazing clarity. Fish remain deeper (20-25 feet) moving up shallow later in the day. We caught nice 3-4lb fish in 10ft of less - but only after 4pm. Everything else was deeper. Find 20-25 ft water near deeper water, we got bit. Slow rolling spinnerbaits, jigs, plastics.
    City: Pacific Grove, CA

Tips: If you want to get bit, fish SLOOOOOW. Not a single bite on anything moving too quickly. Mixed bag on size, a few fish in 1.5lb range, many 2-2 1/2 lb fish; a few 3lbs and better. Did find fish in 15-20 when the wind kicked up.

    Water Temp: 53.1 to 55.9

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: There is a solid bite on bass to 3 1/2 pounds areas to fish off the face of the dam in 35 to 50 feet of water. Also the east second and third ramps are holding bass on isloated rock piles in 20 to 40 feet. Swimming area rock eddy from 18 to 45 feet of water and in the 5mph area bass are holding in and around brush piles and isolated rocks and near dropoffs in 25 to 40 feet of water. Vertical jigging with a dead stick pause is working best. Johnny C's California Resevoir Lures jigs colors 925 and 1050 paired with yamamoto 5" twin tail grub trailers in colors 208 & 301 work well. Jigs in 1/4oz. & 3/8oz. Arkie head jigs & 3/8oz. & 1/2 oz. Football head jigs are working the best. Drop shot pro gold 6" red flake worms and baby brushogs also are working but the better fish are coming on jigs. Mid morning bite is good afternoon bite is better & traffic is light. Water is clear
    City: madera ca.

Tips: Find good targets to hit & get on top of them and vertically jig the baits with a dead stick pause the bite will be solid when you pick the lure up.

Report: Cold blue bird day. Threw Senko's, Jigs, brushogs, and top water in the morning to no avail. Started cranking a KVD squarebill in the rocks on the east side of the lake and that was the ticket! Caught a 6 and then a 4 on the next cast. Everyone I talked to was either dropshotting dragging jigs catching smaller fish.
