Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Wife and I fished all day (6AM-4PM) and were able to catch a lot of bass, 36 in total. Most were dinks, but our largest two were over 2 lbs. Had one break me off on some sharp rocks but was able to see him briefly...looked like 4 lb'er to me.
Great day fishing, the full moon last night and the slight wind today seemed to turn them on.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Fished soft plastics in 20 to 30 ft. of water. Hits were slight and they seemed to like the lure to be moving, with short pauses in between.

Report: MARK - I am saddened to hear you are not going to post more reports. You are one of the guys that fishes the lake consistently and you have the best, legit, information. SCREW those tourney guys that are upset you are posting info about the fishing at a quality lake. Perhaps they should sharpen their skills and FISH instead of worrying about who may know the current pattern. If you fish this lake enough (25 years for me) the patterns are similar year to year. You just alert us to where they are at the moment. Please email me so we can stay in touch. I enjoy reaching out to you about the pattern or status when i'm making a drive up for a few days to my favorite lake.
    City: Pacific Grove

Tips: Keep Reporting, please. I love your jigs by the way... i get them at that gas station in Madera. They always produce for me.

    Water Temp: 74.5 to 76.0

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We got on the lake at 7:15 pm last night again it was windy but the bite was good. Bass were in 8 to 20 feet of water and all are fish were caught on jigs. We had 17 bass 6 of them weight in at between 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds. Bullet head jigs in pumpkin green/black green crystal or bullet head jigs in junebug both worked. They were 1/4oz. jigs and 4" yamamoto twin tail grub trailers. We got off the lake at 12:45 am. All the bass were caught in the 5mph area.
    City: madera ca.

Tips: isolated rock piles long points flats nite time fishing has been very good on jigs. 1/4oz bullet head & 3/8 & 1/2oz.football head both work ive been using bullet heads for most of my fishing now im only tying them with 20 strands of silicone or one pad it make a difference and exposing the trailer works well.

    City: madera

Tips: 1/8oz or 1/4oz jigs and 4" twin tail grub trailers we caught alot of the bass the last two by swimming the 1/4oz bullet head jig fishing them slow and bumping the bottom im using spinning outfits 6'6" med heavy rods and 8 lbs maxima line. the 1/8oz jig is more finesse it also worked but swimmin that 1/4oz bullet work better

Tips: Good reaction bite. Bass are still shallow. Lots of smaller bass but a few bigger bass available. Vertical cast along the shore and focus on points as well.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: What a mess. Parking lots full and boats everywhere. No place to fish or park on this small lake.
Pressure is making the bite turn off.
I wouldn`t make a long drive to come here, there are too many other lakes getting good now.

    Water Temp: 52-56

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Crystal Clear water. Amazing clarity. Fish remain deeper (20-25 feet) moving up shallow later in the day. We caught nice 3-4lb fish in 10ft of less - but only after 4pm. Everything else was deeper. Find 20-25 ft water near deeper water, we got bit. Slow rolling spinnerbaits, jigs, plastics.
    City: Pacific Grove, CA

Tips: If you want to get bit, fish SLOOOOOW. Not a single bite on anything moving too quickly. Mixed bag on size, a few fish in 1.5lb range, many 2-2 1/2 lb fish; a few 3lbs and better. Did find fish in 15-20 when the wind kicked up.
