    Water Temp: 72-77

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water is CRYSTAL Clear... when calm, you can see bottom at 10-12 feet. Amazing clarity. Read Marks report below..(thanks Mark) those tips were right on... 6lb, 4-5lb fish, many 4lb and a boatload of 3lb fish. For the first time in a long time, we caught more fish over 5 than we did under 2. It was nice. Not fast and furious..in fact SLOOOOOW fishing presentation. 4 days of fishing and a nice, nice bunch of fish. Our best 5 of trip: 30lbs total. No joke.
    City: Pacific Grove, CA

Tips: Fish deeper than you think. Look for baitfish on graph fish those areas... 1 day of killer topwater 3 days of no takers on topwaters... strange. Jigs and Brush Hogs the ticket. Big baits = bigger fish. Please: Carefully release. Caught some nice fish with broken jaws...not cool. Take your time to carefully remove hooks. Email for more specifics.

Get it to the bottom let it sit for a minute while shaking it and then work it up the tree slowly until you get bit. Shake it, shake it, shake it
    City: Hilmar

Tips: Could not get bit on drop shot, but did well on Tex Rig worm, 3/8 ox tungsten/3.0 Gamagatsu/glass rattle in purple/black or dark color worm and make some noise.

Report: Got on the water the water about 7:45 p.m. to beat the heat. Started on the south end of the lake throwing a c-rig. My partner picked up a couple of 2's with a c-rigged brush hog. Moved up to the north end of the lake at dusk. Started throwing blades and buzzer with no luck. Switched to a black and blue jig. Hooked up with and boated a toad that went 7lbs. Not longer after my patner hooked up with a good one that broke off at the boat. I caught another about 3lbs. and broke one off on the hook set. Got off the water about 12:30.

Tips: The fish wanted a slower presentation. Check your line frequently the rocks really tear it up.

We also stayed with single tail 5" yamamoto grubs as are trailers. It got breezy at timeS but wasn't a factor in the bite it still held up good.
