Water Temp: 70-75
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: One o my best days in a long time. Caught alot o 16-21" but no keepers. Me and my buddy boated 20 total between 5:30am -2pm. Lots o action in the no wake zone in the shallows and near the dam bumping jigs and sluggo's. They will take any plastics though. The temp was about 90 degrees, and the ishing was just as hot.
City: FresnoTips: Fsih the shallows slow, keep your shades on and watch the shallows or opportunities to spot ish. smill jigs with trailers and plastics work best.

Water Temp: 62.5 to 64.1
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Several pounders were around the dock, like a school o Piranha. No wading! Arrived at 7AM water temp 62.5. Went to the North end behind the 5mph bouys. Ater about an hour o not even a smell on all sorts o plastics in the rocks and trees, decided to throw a crank. This is not a commerical or Bill Dance, but I was using a Suspending Fat Free Shad in the Threadin Shad color. Nothing complicated on how it was worked. They didn't want it ripped, stop and go, or paused or a count. Just throw it out and crank it in; walla, crankbait. 5:1-1 reel used. Caught 3 ootballs in the 2 pound range and one skinny gal about 4. The ish were in the cockel burrs, but had to stay back so as not to spook. They were skidish. All o the ish ate the bait almost as soon as I started moving it. I let at 11:30 and the water had warmed to 64.1
City: EastonTips: Not a an o crankin' as it is not un ishing. Try any place that has cockle burrs on the bank. The steep banks, thus deeper banks produced better. Good luck

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Tried sot plastics, reaction baits and blades. From 11am-4pm. Not a bite Switched to trolling or trout and landed two nice rainbows by the back boat ramp. They hit a yellow Rooster Tail. Several boats were trolling with lashers and having success. However I didn't see a bass landed all day. The bass bite should come on anytime now, until then best bet is trolling or trout.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I was on the lake in mid January. Bass ishing was slow but I hooked three nice rainbow trout by the dam on a gold cast master. The best o the three went 20 inches. So today I decided to try trolling the dam area again. Didn't get a bite. Headed over to the east side o the lake, beached the boat, and started soaking a inlated night crawler where I had metered ish in 10 t. o water. In less than ive minutes the rod was jumping out o the rod holder. Anyways I missed a big one. I ished the hole hard or at least an hour and got one more bite. Went back to the dam area and drited a crawler. Hooked a 3+ large mouth, in the same area I had ished with everything in the box. Just as I brought in the boat two other isherman came by and were impressed since they hadn't landed one all day. To quote him he said; "big ish to catch on a little riggin night crawler". Yah at least I caught one buddy. And he continued by as he through some little plastic thing that he must o got out o a happy meal box.
City: MercedTips: Use live bait. Or learn something most guys out here do not know.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Only three boats on the lake today until 1pm when I let. I blanked without even a bite. Threw cranks, jigs, worms, and grubs. The wind came up and made it very diicult to hold the boat still. The lake is low waiting or runo. Will try again Sunday or FBC Tourny.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Any buddy catching any slugs yet out o this lake. The big ish should be showing. Just wondering because people stopped leaving reports. I have been on a good grub bite at Hensley. The better days are the colder ones. I was just curious to see i any 10 pound plus ish have been caught this year. Last year I caught two over 10 pounds out o here a little later in the year.
City: MaderaTips: Jigs and big worms always do the trick but have a crankbait tied on i it has been sunny or 3 or more days.

Picked up two ish in 30' on brown jigs right away just o theirst point south o the west side boat ramp. That bite turned to a drop-shot bite; jig on bottom and 3"magic worm(smoke)on top. Put another ive ish in boat with biggest going three. That bite shut down so I went to a watermelonred brushhog on a 1/4oz. dart head and we proceede to catch another tengood ish with two over ive. Best ive went around twenty lbs.
City: turlockTips: Fish are still deep o points and on humps. Look or structurein 25 to 40 eet and sit on it or awhile. Brown/red/green crawpatterns seem to work best. Presentation is slow.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I haven't ished eastman in about a year but just got a new boat so i'm back in action.
City: resnoTips: I have a ew tips or you i've used these tactics in all weather conditions and time o year..i you can stand minnow ishing, ish the big cove at the island and by the ranger station.when the wind is calm use light tackle,no weight(unless the minnows keep coming to the surace when you cast it,i so a small split shot)pitch the minnow tight to the brush and trees and leave your line limp and just wait or the line to twitch on the surace o the water.i you don't like using live bait, sotjerk baits in the same places.everyone seems to like the "lukes" but i've always had my best luck with MANN'S Bait co. "Shadow" i started using them beore they were put on the market and have not been let down.also the big tree in the north west corner o the lake is a good place to pitch minnows.i you can get behind the tree do it, but be very quit.right where the creek eeds in i have got two lunker up there 8 & 11 pounds.and have seen several spook out.cast onto shore and drag it in.............when the wind picks up at midday it usually blows rom the south.on the north end o the lake rom the bouys to the islands there are a ew long underwater rocky points a couple have brush down there too.ollow the point out about 200 yards rom shore.then i use a 6" augertail worm with a small bullet weight about 6-7 inches up the line, cast it out and let wind do the rest.i have picked up ALOT o ish there in the middle o the day but nothing larger then 16" ........i you want big ish and have the patence then drop anchor on the rockey point that curves to the east north o the islands and use live waterdogs or crawish.well good ishing to you.remeber save some ish or our kids."catch and release"

Water Temp: 59-63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fishing wasn't as good as I expected. Only caught about 12 ish. Most were caught on the Fluke. Had one close to 3 lbs.Split shotting only produced small ish. I do have a "One thatgot away story" however. I was back in the 5 mph zone and saw some surace action out in open water. I igured the ish beingchased was a trout by the size o the ish trying to escape. The wake behind the trout was quite large. I put the trolling motor on high and got a cast with the Fluke in the general area. That big ish ate it on the irst cast. I saw part o the ishand it had a large proile. The ish surged twice and came o.It was a bummer I lost the ish, but it was still a cool experience.Keep your eyes peeled and keep your trout baits handy.
City: FresnoTips: The bite should improve as the water clears and the weather warms.Keep throwin the Fluke.
