Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I fished there 3 times last week most boats seemed to be close to the bank in hopes for the big ones moving in but didnt get much at all. The small fish that were 1 to 2 pounds if anything is all they got. We are all waiting for those big ones to move in anyday now you might just hit them next week!!!
Tips: GOOD LUCK please let us know how u do.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: THERE ARE VERY MANY REASONS WHY THEY WILL NOT OPEN UP THE RIVER.THE MAIN REASON IS FISHERMAN ALL THE PRESSURE THE LITTLE HAS ONIT THE FISH ARE VERY COMFORTABLE BACK THERE LEFT ALONE. THEY OPEN IT UP AND THE FISHING PRESSURE WILL SKYROCKET.LEAVE THEM ALONE AND LET THEM GROW BIG.AND THE BALD EAGLE NEST FELL DOWN LAST YEAR.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Next time someone fishes Eastman and is posting, please make mention of water level in relation to 3rd ramp, 2nd ramp and maybe how far up said ramp. I fish this lake as much as possible and just have a curiosity as to how much up from my Fall trip. This lake ROCKS and i can't wait to get back to fish it in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Also, I have been searching for info regarding opening up the river arm, at least partially. I believe the concern is bald eagle nests and there were discussions about opening up for fall. (hey, fisherman are stoked to simply see the eagle, no one wants to encroach on a nest) This is a GREAT area - why not post no landing signs on inside and call it a day. The Hydrilla weeds can't still be a problem, can they? I've caught tons of great fish in that area when it was open.
Someone, fish Eastman and post!
City: PacificGroveTips: Love this lake - catch and release.

Water Temp: 73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Low, Low water. I fish this lake at least 8 times a year with the Fall usually the best trip of the year. This year it was minimal only 15 fish in the 12-15 inch range realistically. 1 fish 18 inches about 3-1/2 pounds on a worm. Most fish in 10-15 feet of water. Decent Crankbait bite with a stop and go retrieve. My best success at Eastman has always been with worms and grubs in a green-ish color. Alge bloom is definately in effect. Saturday after the rain, bite was off. Only 1 on a crankbait. We need HUGE rain this year to fill this bad boy up for 2009. This lake rocks when it's on!
City: Pacific GroveTips: Motor Oil, Watermelon, Green Weenie colors and stop and go crankbaits. I did not get any spinnerbait action or topwater... both of which was suprising.

Water Temp: 84
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the Lake about 9am not many boats at all. hit the 5 MPH zone for some small fish in the trees on silver and shad cranks. My wife hit some on drop shot in purple and Eran's magic. Moved up the day use side did OK along the rocks for fish to 3# on drop shot and swim baits. Hit the dam face hell we went all the way around the lake and we did our best along the rocks on both sides but, the better fish came off the camping side on rock piles in 10' to 20' of water. I hit 2 fish on Texas rigged lizards 1 3# and 1 about 6# but the numbers came on the drop shot. Off the lake about 4Pm.
City: FresnoTips: Blades, cranks and drop shot did good today. We did best with a slow retrieve and drop shot for numbers and better fish on Texas rigs.
Have a safe one....
