Water Temp: 74-78
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: The lakes still dropping and they where getting the lower ramps ready today. Morning bite was good for cranks in shad, craws and bluegills. I had a few hit on blades but, nothing on spooks. I hit 2 on poppers. My nephew dropped shot-ed all morning and did well on O-82 green weenies and shad patterns. We fished from about 5 Am till noon and moved to Hensley. We boated around 25 or so fish most where 12" to 16" a few good ones 2-2 1/2# 1-5# and the big fish of the day just under 8#. Not great but, the kid had a blast and that's more than good enough for me.
City: fresnoTips: Best bet is the picnic area as there is still some rock piles there. The 5 MPH in the trees in the Am did OK the best fish today came off the camping side and the dam face. The 2" trap in shad had more hits than the 4". I did not fish any humps or swim bates so no help there. Jigs in Craw dads and lizards did some but, not great. Most fish where in about 2 to 7 feet of water. With the gas prices I think my days of fishing 4 days a week are gone. Bummer....
Have a great time and be careful. Humps, stumps and bumps.. and kids in daddy's boats.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Lakes turning on good. Shad and craw cranks working well dropshoting purp and shad. Hitting well in the Am and after 3 Pm. Swim bait in money fish white and shad also working well. Slow rolling blades along the bottom works great.
Talked to the rangers and the lake will be dropping a bit but, they hope to slow down the out take. It's nice to have some time to be back on this lake as I love it for it's big fish. Looking forward to being back on Tuesday.
City: FresnoTips: Just about anything goes right now as long as it's slow.
Bassman I said the first time in three months because I spend a LOT of time out of town in tournaments. I have about a million hours on this lake and a BUNCH of big fish I to do my homework. Get over yourself. -
Water Temp: 73

Couple on crankbaits in shad or baby bass patterns and everything else on worms. Clear, Purple and greenish colors. No spinnerbait action and no topwater action. On 3rd launch ramp, water level slowly going down.
City: Pacific GroveTips: Early and Late bite... daytime is SLOW in the heat. Bring plenty of ice.

Water Temp: 65-68
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water about 6:30 off about 2:00. Fished the flats early and the deeper rocks later in the day. The cold front must have knocked the bite a bit as we only had about 10 fish total.
Slow bite on Jigs, dropshot and sinkos. My Bro had a few chase a top water spook. Most where dropshot green punk/red the bigger fish where about 6" off the bottom in 12 to 15 feet of water. They thru jigs and dropshot Me I thru every crank bait and blade in the boat. I just had a great day to wash them all off. Laugh!
The weather should settle back down in a few days and the bite will pick back up. First time back on the lake in about 3 months. I see that there are others that have found my big fish as well. Yes there are at least 3 over 15# and one 19#. I also had one on the bent my Heavy swimbait rod in half. I have put some big fish in the boat off this lake. Remember PLEASE weigh them get the length girth and put them back so someone can have the thrill next time. "IF" you think you have a record the rangers will be more than glad to certify it for you. If they are not there have pictures showing the scale with the fish and 4 people to witness the fish. Most of all keep it alive. No need to kill a wonderful fish when you can have a fake one made to the same size for 1/3 the price.
Have fun and be safe.....
City: FresnoTips: The wind and Rain pushed the fish deeper so give it a day or so to settle down. Guessing would be Blades and spooks early. Cranks in craw or shad paterns shallow to 15 feet. Deep swimbaits around the dam and on humps always work.

Water Temp: 70 DEGREES
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: AWESOME DAY,ONE SPOT PRODUCED 9 FISH FOR 65LBS,BIGGEST 10.5LBS TO 4.5. TWO DAY EALIER THIS SAME SPOT WE LOST A FISH THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASILY THE NEW LAKE RECORD. WE ESTIMATED THE FISH WAS PROBABLY 17 TO 19LBS.
City: PLANADATips: MY FATHER AND MYSELF HAVE BEEN FISHING THIS LAKE EVER SINCE IT OPENED BACK IN 1984. WE CAUGHT FISH LAST YEAR THAT WEIGHTED 15.9LBS IN THE SPRING. WHAT THIS LAKE NEEDS IS THREADFIN SHAD INTRODUCED INTO IT.IF ANYBODY HAS ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE STEPS NEEDED FOR THIS IT WOULD ONLY MAKE THIS LITTLE LAKE A REAL MONSTER BASS LAKE.

Water Temp: 65-71
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Well I went out again this weekend after stating I wouldn't go back for a few weeks.....just love this lake! Not much has changed. The water has come up a foot or so from last weekend. Visibility is still poor. It has cleared a little bit in a few areas but over all cloudy. Water temps were great and you'd think the bite would be on but it wasn't. Got on the water around 9am and off by 3pm. Only had a few "dinks" on plastics and nothing on everything else I chucked at them. The anglers I chatted with all were having the same results. Reading the previous post from yesterday....maybe the late afternoon/early evening bite is better.
City: Le GrandTips: Wish I could give you something here.

Water Temp: 68-71
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Hit the lake around noon and there were only 3-4 other boats on it. I soon found out why! The lake itself is still low. The lower parking area is just barely under water. The entire lake is muddy. I could only see 1-2 feet down. I actually ran into a few rocks with my trolling motor (that's how bad it is). Water temp was nice but the bite just wasn't there. Caught a few "dinks" on plastics in the shallows. No bites on jigs, swimbaits, crankbaits, or topwater.
City: Le GrandTips: Go somewhere else until this lake comes up and settles.
