Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: The lake is so low right now, does anyone know if there's a launch open that is usable if you don't have 4 wheel drive? Or do we have to wait for the coming rain to help?
Oh, and any tips of where to fish with the water this low and the time of year I'm assuming the main body?
Thanks in advance.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Just wondering which ramp is open for boat launch now? What's the speed limit at the lake? where's the hot spot to try now.
City: FremontTips: Try new water for better luck. Don't GIVE UP

Water Temp: 48-52
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: First boat on the water and quickly got rewarded with a rip fish. However, it was a 2 pound trout. Sucker pounded the super rogue. We started kind of slow, but then we got on to a great jig and drop shot bite. Most of the fish were in less than 15 feet of water. They were really getting active from the solid wee of sun. We fished the last 3 hours of the day in shorts and t-shirts. Beer tasted dang good as well. Fish were puking up pond smelt, but it was very digested already. I bet they had fed on the moon and that would explain the slow morning bite and digested bait.
City: RosevilleTips: Just like how my Oroville trip would be the next weekend, the fish were concentrated. 3 or 4 in some areas and then nothing for an hour. Of course, I'm sure the bite is totally different since I am writing this report on 1-26. Our best five went 12 1/2 pounds. Big fish was a 3 1/2 pound spot.

Water Temp: 49
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: On the H20 by 10 am with first fish a Smallie on drop shot Sxe shad 4" in 25ft about a pound or so.
Moved up to south fork with my friend a caught a couple of nice 2.5 - 3.0 on swim baits later picked up a few more on jigs and swim baits. 7 fish total missed about 5 or 6 with largest pushing 3 pounds. Caught fish in 10 ft out to 30 feet.
City: LincolnTips: time on the water means everything!

Water Temp: 47
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Slow day on the pond...Junk fished with everything til noon then started dragging worms in 20' on the ends of points in the main lake.Caught 3.3, 2.9 and one got away at the boat. drift with a light wind as slow as you can go and wait for the rod to load up.
City: LoomisTips: Bank anglers around the ramp are having a hayday..Saw over a dozen trout come out in the time it took me to load my boat.

Water Temp: cold
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: went oout with my buddy brad, got on the water around 9:30 and fished until about 2pm...rain pissed on us all morning and i loved every minute of it. Began 100 yards off of the damn throwing football jigs and drop shotting...no takers...drifted the east bank one taker on swimbaits...1 lb maybe...threw the hook
kept drifting the bank watching the scope and dragging jigs down the banks...4lb. spot ended the afternoon
City: ForesthillTips: small shad colored swimbaits and brown football jigs with beast trailers seemed to be the ticket
my recommendation is to fish as slow as you can if not dead stick and keep the trolling motor down pointing the boat into the wind to slow your drift
bring thick gloves btw...i learned that the hard way -
Water Temp: 49
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the H20 around 10:30 and fished until 4 with a limit of Spots all on jigs in 15-22 feet. No guess work all solid thumps nothing huge but all were around 2.25 with one pushing 3.
Nothing on cranks, jerks or swimbaits.

Water Temp: Didn't check
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Water clarity changes with location. Caught a big and a little trout. Limits on bass were not very difficult. Four pounds was the biggest. All fish were caught in less than 5 feet of water on a reverse carolina rig, 4lb test line. Fished only around Browns ramp and across channel. met kent brown and the ABA guys, Happy New year Guys.
City: sacTips: Two inch baits in pond smelt did the trick with 4lb test line up shallow. Did not try reaction baits this trip. Sun was out all day.

Report: No takers on reaction baits. Went up s. fork caught all spots 2-3 lbs in no deeper than 5 feet. All on plastics. A lot of algae.
City: sacTips: majority of fish are holding no shallower than 70 ft up river. That will change as the days get shorter.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Launched out of Granite Bay ( Very easy just single boat launch ) Went to south fork first thing and nothing water temp back there was 45 degrees. Came back out on the main body and found bait fish in 20-25 ft of water and drop shot a sexy shad worm. Ended the day with 6 and my two friends each had a fish a piece. Biggest was a couple of pounds.
City: AntelopeTips: Find the bait and slow shake the worm and wait for the tick.

Water Temp: 2
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Granite bay launch ramp end at 368 feet, not 369. May not be important to the regulators, but to us bass fishermen it is very imnportant for our invested equipment.
City: sacTips: Precisement is a part of our sport.

Water Temp: -
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started at 1:00 pm, ramp was one foot deep at end, but launchable. Fishing was pretty good, but fish were below 25 ft level and deeper. Spoons over bait was good and carolina rig was fair. Jigs good for two of the biggest, 65 ft. in trees.
City: sacTips: This time of year water is cold and fish are in a slight hibernation mode. Go slow, work deeper that warmer times. There are some shallow fish.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I went to the Folsom Lake Marina webpage for current water level and the lake is now sitting at 368 feet which is only 8 feet from being 100 feet below full capicity. All Ramps are Currently closed and out of water. I guess only those willing to take risks of launching their boats from land will be able to fish the lake. On the positive side once we do get rain and are able to fish the lake it should be pretty good. Merry Christmas to everyone and the happiest of holidays.
City: EDHTips: Pray for rain---we really need water bad throughout all of California lakes.

Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started in main body (zilch) not one bite on reaction baits. I later went up river in south fork (zilch) not one bite. I worked back out towards main body past Brown's (zilch). I could see plenty of fish, I could feel my bait touch them, but not one taker. Went home.
City: sacTips: Sometimes cold fronts with no surface action (wind) results in lock jaw. Did not drop shot or other finese methods.
