Water Temp: who cares
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started early on a log guide, not working (global warming screwed it up this year). South Fork all morning, abass here, a bass there. Wind did not stop anmd skiers etc started their littel weekend fun, procedind bacvk out to mainbody at eleven thirty, all hell broke loose. Post spawners weere on the the feed, windy banks with deep water nearby was the ticket. "Woochie jigs" prevailed. took about two limits in less than two hours, nothing under three pounds. Blacks and spots. Tails were bloody and bodies were injured on all fish. Hard to keep boat in position but that was the way it had to be. All fish came from one of my better 200 yard stretches. Glad I had my Z 12lb test as I didn't use a net. Left because of bleeding thumbs. Be back tomorrow.
City: SacTips: Fish the windward banks no matter how tough it is. Adjust the weight of your jigs, move them as slowly as possible. Most fis caught will be larger on jigs. Remember it turned on at about 11:00 a,.m. Good fishing Jiombo

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went up north for the afternoon fished a mudline along the clay banks and some trees. Got 2 fish, one out of the edge of the mudline on a bold bluegill 4 1/2" dartheaded roboworm, the otherone on a White swiming senko around some trees. Missed a hughe fish on the senko around some trees near the 5 mph zone up north. hit that senko like a pile of bricks and dove into the branches where it got all tangled and managed to escape.... :-(
City: FolsomTips: use lots of sunscreen!!!

Water Temp: 63
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I had 2 clients out early and started on the south side of the penninsula. Caught 2 on rip baits,(Lucky Craft Stacee). Moved up the south fork and picked up another 8 to 10 up to 2 pounds on Carolina rigged Robo worms in Arons Magic. Most fish were in 10 feet. Wind got bad with 3 to 4 foot swells in the main body.
City: SacramentoTips: Move around a lot if you do not get bit and try diffrent baits. Start to look for post Spawners.

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Early swimbaits , one bite, no hook up, main body. Couple limits on jig, dropshot, chatterbait. Left went up river, every place I stopped I took fish, same baits. All fish were just keepers. No front depht finder right now so didn't explore post spawners.
City: sacTips: Left at 11:00 wind was terrible in main body. Right now fish seem to be every hwere. I'm going to toss my log book, this global warming thing is making it whacko.

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Same as yesterday however bite was not on jigs but wacky 3" cut-tails on drop shot rig. had to change because action had slowed, left earl;y at 11:00. Bitye shut off at 8:00 as weather changed a little bit. Tried swimbaits, chatterbaits(i fish) and jigs. No smallies today and only two limits of spots.
City: sacTips: As soon as you see the bite is different cahnge right away for a better creel. Every day can be a different bite and you have to adapt to it. If you are fishing a tourny, go immediately for percentage, forget about other presentations. Bite will change throughout the day, so in your prefishing, try the percentage shots and while prefishing make many different presentations to see what is the deal.

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Early start main body Brown's Ravine and peninsula swim baits, top water, chatter bait. No fish. Weather was clear slight wind, moved out of breezy arae to calm area tossed favorite "woochie jig" got a couple of rather fast limits of smallies and spots. moved into the breeze and action stopped.o ved upriver got another good spot on the jig. By 9:30 my bite turned off, but afterwards talking to a friend , he said his bite just started about then on c-rigs. I didn't go there. i kept throwing the big bait and chaterrbaits and once in a while the jig. Left earl, too many darn boats.
City: sacTips: Blue bird skys, 9;00 was like glass. My fish said no. Darts, c-rigs, drop shot would have made adifference if I wante to increase my catch but I opted to search for beds and shallow activity. There was some but the major movement is not there yet.

Water Temp: 62
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Gin clear water could see bottom at 14 ft in all 5 areas I fished during a 4 hr trip today. I managed 7 total including a 3 1/2 smallie. Used senkos, drop shot, small rip. I am surprised JimS was able to get a vibration bite because of the clear water in the main lake, must have been pretty windy. I tried my proven spots this time of year with the same baits I usually use and it was much slower then expected. I did have 1 swim bait hit off a rock pile 40 ft from shore in 5ft of water, must have been small because it did not load up all the way. I also had 1 5lb spot follower later in the day and in the same cove I did get 1 bed fish, a male but it was fun. Try the swimbaits on Folsom, the fish seem interested.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Started early staying away from everyone, went inton deep Ravine , two on senkos (weightless), saw two dead bass laying on bot5tom. Came out of there moved across from New York in big cove, senkoed three and started using a white chatterbait catching one here one there. Moved on out to main lake point caudht about thirty on the bait, just working back and forth.
City: sacTips: Change up on baits if you think it is better and if you don't get results go with something else. Reaction, vibratgion on the shallows were the ticket for me.

Water Temp: 60
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out at safe light to 1:45 pm today with my sponsor(LHB). Tons of short strikes on topwater, only hooking up with 2 or 3 of them. Worm bite was still there, along with a blade bite. Fish were smaller for us today, and most of them were spots(only 2 male LMs). Caught about 15 keepers with about 13 lbs. for our best five. The wind continued to change speeds and directions all day plus on and off rain made us keep trying to ajust to what they wanted throught the day. We did get some valuable info though...and that is "My new BPS 100 mph Raingear was well worth the $$$"!
City: RocklinTips: Take kids fishing!!!

Water Temp: 61
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Dennie Howard and I fished up the North Fork staying around small rock banks with sand. Most of our 3.0 plus lbs came on a new "capt Jack's" fishing jig in "Green Pumkin with green/purple flake" in 10-15 ft of water. Darter head a small worm and using a leach also. By the end of the day we had 12 bass over 3 lbs and 2 over five. A total of 35 bass and a 5 fish for 17.5 lbs.
I just got back from two weeks with B.A.S.S. in Stockton and at Clear Lake. what a fun job working with the PRO'S from the Elite Series.
City: RocklinTips: Have fun and wait for this cold front to by.

Water Temp: 63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water at 11:30 am. Threw reaction for 1 1/2 hours with no takers. Went to the worm and that was the ticket 3rd cast 5.25 pound LM. Really happy to say that 9 of my first 11 were LMs. Around 4:30 the wind layed down a bit and the clouds covered the sun. Broke out the topwater and fished it until 7:30, with plenty of action. Ended up landing 17 keepers, with my best 5 going 18.5 lbs.
City: RocklinTips: Take the youngsters fishing.....

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Have been fishing from shore out of Browns Ravine in the evening at sunset bite has taken off on top water thrown paralell to the bank off of points and around trees and stick ups. Catching blacks up to 2.5 lbs
City: Cameron ParkTips: Silver and Black top water
-
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Did a little afternoon fishin' with my buddy Mark. We launched at 5pm and stayed until after dark. Fished the Southfork the entire time. Went into New York cove tossing reactions and jigs with no interest. A large portion of the cove is really muddy and full of carp. On the other side of the cove (in clearer water) we were able to hook three (up to 2.3 lbs) on a darthead with 6" Roboworms. Moved up the Southfork and added a couple of more on the Robo just before dark. One of them was a beautiful 3.1 lb Spot. Had some interest on a Spook Jr off a point and a bump or two on a Mission Fish...but the real action was on worms.
Tips: Try a weekday afternoon rather than dealing with all the pressure of a weekend. Beautiful out there right now. 1/4oz Darthead with a 6" Warmouth (or Aaron's Magic)Roboworm. Dragged real slowly on a chunk rock bank.
