Water Temp: 47
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Flat wacked em today on a Tail Kicker. at 8:30 caught my irst ish, itweighed 3.15. I kept a tally on my cul em rite system and my limit or the day or 5 ish was 17.4 lbs.
City: Citrus HeightsTips: Spots and smallmouth are on gravel banks in preparation o rthe spawn. Largemouth are still hard to ind. Steady water levels and warmer weather have moved ish very shallow. When you think you're ishing in 3 eet o water, you're too deep.

Water Temp: 47-50
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Had the pleasure o spending the day on the water with ellow nutcases Dan F--> and Chris. Got a ew short hits but that was about it. As I was strictly looking or a big bass bite I was tossing a modiied castaic sot body trout and working it like a rip bait & also like a dying ish. Also threw out an unmodiied castaic trout and deadsticked it over main points and around the dam area. Got one huge boil on it and that's enough to keep my interest up.
City: Fair OaksTips: From reports I heard at the ramp, sounded like a crankbait was the ticket or some ish, but not many limits that I heard o. Gold Country Bass Club was there and the winning wieght was 10+ with a 6+ kicker or three ish.

Water Temp: 47-50
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished in both orks and main body. Caught small limit by 11:00 on cranks in main body. Spent next 2 hours in the north ork without a hit. Finished in the south ork around NYCreek (very muddy and colder than main body) - no hits. Main body bite was airly shallow 5-14 eet and turned on when the sun hit the water.
City: Fair OaksTips: Big luctuations in water depths means ish will be suspended. But, when water stabilizes or 2 or 3 days, the ish should move shallow very ast...great rip bite on points and spinnerbait bite on lats at that time.

Report: Got on the lake at appx 08:30 and ished the north ork. Graphed ish on the usual stu (points and rockpiles) but could not get ANYTHING to bite. Worms, darterheads, cranks, jigs - nothing !!! Do the Folsom bass know that they are supposed to start the pre-spawn migration ???? What's the deal ???? Let the north went to Beals, Dike 8, and the south and stayed till 3:00pm....same story. Maybe the ish are waiting or the results o the Clinton trial...(they must be Republicans)

Report: Here's my report or "eliminating" water! Mostly threw big plastics (10-12 inch worms) and slow rolled 3/4 oz spinnerbaits with large grub trailers. Just looking or good ish. Worked shallow to 40 eet. Had a ew tail biters (probably spots or trout) on both baits but no takers or the big baits. From watching and talking with others, it was obvious that there is a good crank bite going.

Report: Fished all morning, lots o boats out there. I ished the south ork and the middle peninsula. I could not believe the ish were so shallow, 10 to 20 eet, all spotted bass.It looks like they are in a semi prespawn mode. Caught some emales, mostly males.Seem to be on small rock, used dart heads 1/8 oz. and green original weenies. The bite ell o about noon or so. Overall the bite was pretty good, o course come tournament time, my bite will suddenly disappear as usual.

Report: Folsom Bass Team had a club tournament today. Winning weight was a little over 10 pounds. All the winner's ish came on crankbaits o major points.
City: Fair OaksTips: With the warm rains o the last week, the surace temperature has risen signiicantly. Look or bait ish to move up into the warm water with good bass ollowing. Good time or cranking or ripping.

Report: Norcal Trophy Hunters had a small tournament out o Folsom this Saturday. Fishing was tough and the bite very slow. One member managed to locate ish up to 2# on deep points throwing a Watermelon Red Brush Hog and brown jig. With the recent rain, we ound warmer water in the backs o coves up to 48 degrees. Found numerous shad balls but no ish eeding under them.

Water Temp: 47.5-48.3
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Launched in the og and headed out the North Fork. Marked a lot o ish in the 24 - 36 oot range holding o rocky points in the Narrows. Picked up a keeper using a Texas rigged 5" green weenie with red lake. The aternoon was spent in the main body area ishing humps. All ish seemed to relate to the South sides o the humps and were holding in 6 - 13 eet on structure. Splitshotting a 3" purple leach brought in two more. Strictly a pressure bite with absolutely no tick or tap, just pressure. Once I detected pressure that move with the rod, I would eed line to the ish. Sometimes they would drop the bait, but i I didn't give them extra line and attempted to set the hook at irst detection, I would only bring in a 2" leach.
City: Granite BayTips: Key to catching: Slow presentation and giving them line. Hope you have a successul trip next time out.
