Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished the night tourney for FBC at this Dead Sea. Results from the 109 degree blast off or should I say melt off were 18.5 lbs for two outings/4 fish limit each for winner and he had big fish of 4.10. Add the humidity of the lake and some of the 36 may have driven past their favorite holes just to catch a breeze. As usual for this time of the year, it cooled off to 78 degrees about 4 AM for about 1 hour.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Dark blades and worms right next to the bank.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started at 6:00 am by squaw cove. Buddy caught the first one off a tube. Left squaw to fish at Windy Gap. Caught several fish there and landed a 5 pounder with a jig. Several other fish were caught around the main lake. Back lake didn't produce anything during the mid day. Caught most fish off of worms and jigs. Flukes worked in the morning but slow. Lots of skiers and water pressure but partner and I managed to come close to 40 fish on this Memorial weekend.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Look for trees. Fish worms and jigs slow.

    Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started fishing at 1:30 pm in the squaw cove area. No traffic on a weekday and less pressure. Younger brother caught a small spot there. Headed over the Winchells cove area and caught one with a purple robo worm and brother lost one. Headed over to Fine Gold by 3:00pm, caught 8 fish off of jigs, robo worms and tubes. Two fish were 3#'s. One was caught off of a chartreuse plastic beattle and the other off of a blue jig with yamamoto creature trailer. Little brother caught about eight small fish off of blue/shad colored keeper worms. Headed out to back river toward squaw leap and caught two good size 1.5#'s out that way with jigs to end the day. Fish were caught in between 25 to 30 foot of water.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Drop worms or jigs in about 25 to 30 feet of water and let it drag in the later day. Look for rocky areas to shoot.

    Water Temp: 60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Can't remember what the temperature was but it had to have been 60 or below. Fished a tournament here with my partner and ended up with close to 20 fish today. Only weighed in at 6.16 lbs. Most fish came off on drop shotted plastic 4 inch worms. No jig fish today. All fish that were caught today were in the 1 lb range but the winner of this tournament here had 13.94 lbs to win it. It was a rainy afternoon as well but the fish were on.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Fish slow. Work the river channels and rocky structures from below. Fish are deeper this time of the year.

Report: Of course I couldn't go on Friday with clear weather and only had Sat available. It rained all day and there was a Fresno Bass Open (32 boats) going on also. Tried a little topwater but to no good. Went upriver and tried reaction but not even a chase. Switched to dropshotting small plastics in shad colors and caught a 2 lber, a 13 incher, and two dinks before the rain took it's toll on my Son-in-Law who didn't have rain boots and gave up. Most were in about 30 foot and a real soft bite.

    Water Temp: n/a

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My son and I went looking or the stripers that we have been hearing about that might be a return o some past memories. Wind was at 15+ in the main lake, so we went to winchell cove to catish and throw lures or what ever. I set out a shore pole with a new baitcaster reel, bait was anchovie on a high low rig. 2 hrs. went by and as we were talking to a tub isherman, we all hear this clicking noise. It was my new reel that I had set or just that reason, just to brain dead to connect the two! Anyway missed the ish but got good vibes, so we loaded up the other poles the same way. Between 8pm and 10pm we caught 3 stripers 12-16 inches and 5 nice cats. Bite was getting better but had to leave beor we were locked in. Had a lot o un and let with some positive eelings or that old lake.
    City: madera

Tips: Used the 2 hook high low rigs and ished toward the marina. Surace lures should work just beor dark. There was a ull moon but did not show untill 9pm.
