    Water Temp: 68-70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Started out at about 2:30pm and headed o the main lake to start ishing the shaded areas. A very hot day so I igured the ish would be in deeper water or shaded trees. Zero, zilch, Does anyone have any ideas on how to ish when it is 102 on the water? Finally headed all the way back to where the river comes in and at 7:00pm the bite turned on.We tried everything at irst and then went to the plastics landing about 5 all in the 1-2 lbs with one almost 3lbs.4'purple and clear with black leck was the trick...we lost about 5 more and many bites took hal the worm o...I almost put a trailer hooh on but always catch and release so decided not to.
    City: Clovis

Tips: Most had moved in close to shore ater in cooled and were inder loating debris.Move the worm slow and wait........don't set too soon and use salt impregnated worms so they won't spit it to soon.

    Water Temp: warm

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: many may not believe me on this but i caught an 8lbs. black bass and two others ones about 16 to 17 inches. the small ones were biting like crazy too. i have not have this much un ishing at millerton since the irst year i moved here......
    City: resno

Tips: the bait o choice would be the baby brush hog watermelon color or the zoom salty super luke smokin shad. with the brush hog bounces it along the buttom. with the luke just try to make it swim at the surace o the water. you will get some good action with it.live bait use night crawlers (can't beat that)

Found a cut that had some blacks and caught one that was locked on. It was a 3 lb black and was the male. I saw the emale cruising around, and she was at least 5 lbs or better. Cool to see at Millerton. Also caught some luke ish near the Christmas trees.

    Water Temp: not sure

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out Wednesday or a couple o hours. Did not get on the water until around 0900, saw about ten other boats. Fished towards the back o the lake just prior to the 5 MPH no wake zone along the east wall. Caught several spots, no blacks, and the water was COLD! I dont have a temp gauge, so I cant tell you the temp. Sorry. I caught all ish on Texas rigged our inch Keeper worms, 1044C and 1059R's. Overall a good day, it should get much better here really soon.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Look or small grass clearings along the rock clusters in about 15-20 t. o water. Move the bait slowly, you probably wont eel a "bite", just heavy weight on the end. Kinda like drop shottin'.

    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Just under Millerton on the San Joaquin River, I caugt a two ive pound bass one about 19 inches and the other about 18 inches. I caugt one on crank bait and one on spinner bait.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Fall is here and the leaves are changing rom a green to a golden, orange, brown color. The water temperature is cooling and is at a stedy degree. Best bet to catch bass is to use a colorul cranck bait such as an bright orange green combo. Popper's at night work well. I would suggest an all white popper. Hint;don't ish the popper to ast. Pop it and allow it to sit then proceed. Bass love to hide in drop os and under lilly pads or in weeds.

    Water Temp: not to sure

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I havent ished Millerton in a while, but saturday was a pretty good day. Back in SQUAW Cove, the ished moved down to seceday humps, about 15-30 t caught alot o ish o o secedary structures. Then right there at the ramp, Lake is plum ull. Right there in the green trees, caught alot o ish there. Caught a 4+ black right there. I was using a jig head throwing 6' pro worms, mostly dark colors. Fishing was really good in the morning, but slowed down in the aternoon, I would say though you're best bet would get a evening bit, like go out about 3:00.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Most o you're ish now will be moving down to secedary humps and structures, I would go with jig heads using 6' dark worms, like pro gold or mabey even 266, like a shad color.

Water Temp: low to mid 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out about 5:00 pm with bro in law and started tube ishing at the irst large point that extends out rom Winchell Cove. No bites on the tube until the sailboat docks where one SMALL spotted bass was landed. Switched to worm (tex rig) and ished around the docks and back into the launching ramp (still in Winchell) with no takers. Did, however, see a lot o surace busting with big splashes and igured out that it was striper hanging out in the marina area. By the time I tied on a larger plug, the top action was over and they were nowhere to be ound. Guy parked in his slip said that this happens every night at the same location and minnows or sardines are usually the only baits that work.Anyway, worked around through the cove and inally ound ish in some submerged trees. Boated some nice 1 1/2 to 2 lb spots rom these trees. Most ish came rom worm rig, bro in law had a couple on spinner bait.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Keeper 1049R worm, 6", texas rigged. Very slow presentation, dead sticking a lot o the time. Fish were coming rom submerged trees in about 15' o water. The spinner bait that worked was a small (I think Horizon) in white and chartruece with a chartruece trailer. Slow rolled in about ive to seven oot o water paid o on this. One hint about time: the closer to dark the better at this lake. This is my third summer o aternoon ishing at this lake and have never really had good luck until the point where I am getting pack it up to get o o the lake in time. Night ishing here would be awesome!
