    Report: We ished rom day break too 1 pm...Caught 11 bass,8 were ron 13 1/2 in too 3 1/2 lbs.App. 8 o the 11 were spots includeing the 2 largest ish.We ished main lake coves onthe east side o the lake rom morman creek too the loating outhouse.3 ish came on drop shot riggs,one on splitshot & the rest on darter & ootball heads.Five caught on skirted s.tail grubs & the rest on worms,Dietent size & colors.All ish came rom 25 too 50 t deep.

    Report: Fished rom daylight too 1pm...Caught 8 bass too 2 1/4 lbs...All ish came on plastic's,rom 20 too 6o t deep..Fish were caught on sharks,Skirted grubs & 4in worms.All ish were caught between points o the main lake going into med.size coves on darter heads,1/2 to 1 oz ootball heads,split shotting & drop shot.Lost one on a drop shot cali.worn that tore loose ater a 1 min. ight. These ish were spitting up small shad,about the size o your thum nail.

    Report: Mid-Cal Bass held a tournament on sunday october 17th.Boy, what a tough lake this time o year. 1st place was only 4.02lbs and big ish was 2.14 lbs and it was also 3rd place.Next tournament will be held at lake McClure.For anyone who ishes New Melones, GOOD LUCK !!!!

    Report: Started ishing at 4:00p.m. Began catching spots right away drop shotting at 25 to 45 eet on main lake. Fish were all in the six to ten inch range. Moved to other main lake points and ound some larger ish in same zone up to two pounds.As sky darkened some moved to shallower water and were caught texas rigging.

    Tips: During high sun times o day bass school in large numbers and attack shad o sloping points.Look or bait on meter and ish directly in schools.

    Report: Started north o hwy 49 bridge at 6:20 am,caught one bass,14 1/2 in on a keeper 1038,texas rig,app 10 t deep.Fished coyote creek,nothing..caught 4 small bass on a small reaper at app 11:30 am in the main lake area across rom the marina.We let at 12:30 pm.They have moved the boat docks too the secondary ramp at Tuttle town ramp now.Could be pulling more water ????

    Report: I ished rom 5:30 am too noon in the dam area & main lake points.Sharp drop os,long sloping points with rocks & brush.Threw crankbaits across a couple o saddles,caught one bass,12 too 13 in...I ished areas where i have turned back 4 too 61/2 lb bass..NOTHING.Threw cranks,spinerbaits,topwater,jerkbait,4 & 6 in worms & skirted grubs.Caught one more 13 in bass in a brushie cove on a 4 in worm,4lb test line & 1/32 oz darter head.Fished 1 too 40 t o water...Caught a ew purple bellies..Could ask or better weather,cloudy & sprinkles all morning..

    Report: Fished New Melones this week to start o a 3 day guide trip, bite was purty tough. We caught a bunch o small red eyes and spots down by the damn. In the aternoon headed up to the river and got on a air spot bite with jigs in 8-15 oot on the inside o big points. Never caught a largemouth, then headed er Tullock or the rest o the trip.     Tips: Find a nice quite cove way up the River, take yer boom box, suntan oil, liquids and a cribbage board and have a great day on the lake.

    Report: Fished the main lake points rom 6am too 12:15pm.Caught 6 ish rom 8in too 4lbs.Big ish came on a keeper shark worm ,app 15t deep.Caught 2 on a med running crank bait.I never got a strike ater 10am

    Report: Steve and I put in at 5:30 Angels cove, Headed to Angels creek, caught ish right away split-shotting a keeper 6in. 083 worm in 1 to 5 eet, POW this is a good one Steve, a big ish 5#. And Steves got one too a 3#.We caught ish back in the Angels creek & Angels arm until 12:30 and then we moved to Black Bart cove and caught more, Two 3+ & two 2# we did caught some small ish but there no un to read about. Split shots the way to go 083 and some black worms too.

    Report: We ished the dam area rom 5:30 am too 11:am.Caught app 17 ish.Only 4 keepers rom 1 1/2 lbs too 6 1/2 lbs.Big ish came on a 6in keeper 1038 worm.Useing a 1/16 oz darter head on 6 lb test line.Nothing on spiner or top water.Caught 4 ish on a med. running crank bait.Fish were caught rom 4 t. too 40 t deep.

    Report: Fished rom 5:15 too 11:00 am in the dam & morman creek area,only caught 6 ish,rom 8 in too 2 1/2 lbs.Larger ish came on a white spinner bait.Other 5 caught on worms.Dierent colors & sizes.I ished points & sharp rockey drop os.Charted lots o ish rom 4t too 50 t.

    Report: Nothing great. We didn't get on the water until about 0730. I caught a couple shakers on a chugger in coves. Then it was dead until the mudlines ormed. We ished mudlines and caught a couple more. The biggest one was about two and a hal lbs. We tried about everything in the tacklebox, the ish just weren't too interested. But it's still a beautiul lake!!!

    Report: We ished rom 4:30 too 1 pm.Caught 18 bass,one each on spinner & jerk baits.Rest came on tubes & 4-6in worms.We got 10 keepers up too 2 lbs.Largest ish was cought on a keeper 1001R 6 in worm,5/16 oz jig head.WE were splitshoting & useing 1/16 too 1/4 oz jig heads.Fishing rom 3 too 30 t water.Charted lots o ish & bait rom 5 t too 35 t

    Report: STARTED FISHING AT 600pm UP IN COYOTE. WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK AND FISHED THE TIMBER USING CRANKS AND AND SPINNERS ONLY PULLED 2 KEEPERS OUT OF THE AREA. FISHED PUT OF THE TIMBER AND UP THE WEST BANK WITH TOP WATER PLUGS A LOT OF DINKS WOULD HIT BUT NOTHING OF ANY SIZE.

    Report: We ished rom 4:30am too 1:45pm.East bank,no & so o tuttle town ramp.Throwing jerkbaits,spinner baits & cranks.Ater 30 min. I started throwing worms on on 1/16 too 1/4 oz dart heads.My partner caught app 5 ish on a shad colored crank bait.rest o the ish came on cali. worms,oxblood,summer moss,choc blue vein red lake.caught app 18 blacks,7 red eye`s & one small spot.Had 9 blacks that were keepers,up too 14 in.Didn`t hook any large ish,saw a couple that would go 5lbs are better.never got a bite ater 12 o`clock

    Report: Fished angels creek area,rom 5:30am to 12:30pm.cloudy & missty.Partner & I tried top water,spinner baits & jerk baits.ONE 13in ish on the jerk.Caught 20 to 25 on zoom lizards ,keeper & cali. worms.(4 & 6 in) split shoting &jig heads.caught 15 ish rom 121/4 in too 14in

    Report: Used my pontoon style loat tube or the irst time. I ished in a cove near the Tuttletown boat launch area. Got there at about 7:00a.m. and caught one bass that was one pound on a black 4 inch worm with a chartreuse tail. I spent a lot o time cruisin' around in my new kickboat just enjoying the scenery. The one bass I did catch looked like a smallmouth. I didn't know there were smallies in there.
