    Report: Arrived Sat. Aternoon and caught 5 ish beore dark. Biggest at 3.5 lbs. All ish were caught cranking main points in South end with Deep Diving crank baits.Also got a 2.5. Fun day but very hot. Bring plenty o suntan lotion. Fish were located at 15-20 t. depths. GL&GF Kevin

    Report: Out at 5:30AM, water was airly lat. Headed south and worked Peoria Cove area with super lukes and cranks. Super lukes caught most o ish, ish were very tight to shore. Caught 10 in AM. Went up Angel's cove and caught a couple on large cranks. Big ish about 2.5 (on super luke). Enjoyable day, o the water by 2:30 (was getting too hot). Kevin

    Report: Arrived Friday evening and went down to south side o lake. Couldn't get anything going right away, was very windy. Then started throwing small at-ree shads, (black back, purple back) and we ended up getting six and losing a good ish. We were to be there whole weekend, so we headed back to camp.     Report: Started ishing about 5pm in the Tutletown area pitching a brown jig with brown Zoom salt chunk and my partener was throwing a white luke we caught some dinks and some small keepers caught a couple two or three pounders and lost one when I got herto the boat got a good look she went about 7lbs biggest ish I ever hooked all the ish came out o 2 to 15 eet o water the bigger o the ish came o the jig it was a great day o ishing.

    Report: A busy day on the lake. A couple o tourneys goin on. Our club had 27 ishermen on the water. Top honors or 5 ish 15.68 lbs. Winner caught the bag on lukes. Another cloudy rainy day.The weights dropped quickly rom there with a lot o the usual Melones 1.4's weighed in. All ish are post spawners and are suspened in 1-8 eet depending on water clarity. Find the bait and your there. Lots o olks reported see shad schools getting chewed on by the bass.A beutiul 4lb german brown was caught on a rougue aso. tips: Flukes and spinnerbaits on submerged brush.Fish shallow.

    Report: Fished on Friday aternoon and Saturday all day. Caught alot o ish but all 12-13in clones. Caught ish in AM beore 7 on spinnerbaits. Then went to Jerkbaits (rogue) and caught a couple more. Ater sun came through clouds, bite got tougher. Found aew with Yamamoto (SP?) hula grubs in 15 t or deeper. Aternoon bite seemed to start ater clouds came in (about 4pm) and was able to get a ew more using the grubs on rocky shorelines in 5-10 t. Fun ishing, but no size. tips: Needed clouds or shalow bite... also rocky shorelines produced best or me

    Report: Went to New Melones on Saturday Aternoon, was going to try or the evening bite. On the way up encountered heavy rain and lightning and let discretion tell me - How bout the Sunday Morning bite. Camped over and went out Sunday morning to drizzles andintermittent showers. Started trying to get some reaction ish, threw blades and cranks but by 11 am had just managed a ew dinks. Decided to throw some Yamamoto hula grubs and started to catch more quality ish. Had a good time, (despite this weather)

    Report: The lake was smooth as glass, the ish were holding at about 20 eet. White on white blades on rocky banks in the south. Black and blue jig with same in Bo-Liz got the big ish in Angel's Creek. Spring bite is coming...wasn't there yet though.

    Report: Got in 6 hrs on Wednesday. Main Lake was poor nothing happening other than trout . Moved into Morman Crk. and picked up 3 with the largest at 4 lbs. Cruiser that liked a Chart. Poe Plug. 2 on poes and 1 jig ish at 30 t. Was glad to get bit. Fish are still scattered o humps and ledges at 30 t. I the ducks aren't moving I'll be back. A sunny day in the oothills sure beats og in the valley.

    Report: Went out Saturday aternoon. Couldn't ind any pattern but caught several dinks on cranks and a couple on plastics. Was pretty windy and even got a little rain.

    Report: Fishing was preety slow except or early mornings and just beore sundown. It was hot hot hot! My wie and I used 4in purple power worms and 3in June Bug power grubs with good success in the nmorning ish averaged two pounds....nothing much bigger than that. Then it got hot and the ish got real lazy. We ished a lot o deep cover (shrubs and trees). In the evenings we did well with Horizen ghost minnow blades. I ound a nice 4 pound bass hiding in about 1 oot o water in the back o a cove just ate the sun went down. tips: Dont ish between 10:30 am and 6 pm....Get o the lake and ind a nice shady place to down a ew cold ones. Its just to hot! Fish slowly with dark colored power worms or grubs in the deep cover. The ish are there but they arereal lazy.

    Report: I ished Friday to Sunday, 7/11 to 7/13 and the ishing was great! I caught and released over 50 bass over the legal size limit (even more counting smaller ish!) I ished Berkeley power bait worms 4in and 7in purple at 24 t to 27 t. I had three limits o 18in and 4 limits o 16in. My biggest was a 20.25in bass that hit a 7in worm at 10am. I estimated the ish at 8-9 lbs. I took pictures o it and let it go! Best eeling I've ever elt seeing that monster swim slowly back into the depths.

    Report: Bass are really hitting on top waters. I went riday and caught 30 bass on a pop-r, zarra spook, and banjo minnow. The biggest one I caught was 8.57lbs, the rest were in the 1-4lb range.

    Report: Fished Saturday Operation Christmas Team Tournament. 47 teamswith several limits mostly small post spawners. 14.5 lbs 1st place or 5 ish. Big Fish 3.4lbs or $840. Finished 5th with big ish honors. TIPS: Top water early then as sun rises ish are on20-25 oot ledges. Decent crankbait bite on mud lines. Poe Plugs in chartruse. Carolina plastics chameleon rib worms 6in will take ish with occassional 2- 3 lb'ers.

    Report: Started ishing 5:30 am top water all the way .bait rico cought 20 most were small did pull in a three pounder and two two and a hal pounders not to bad or three hours ishing.

    Report: Spring storm blew through this day - ishing was tough with 2-3 oot waves on the main lake, and wind blowing in the coves. On the lake rom 6AM-12Noon, with a good bite right beore 10:00am when the weather turned nasty.
