Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Started out at 10am today headed or a couple o spots in the south end o the lake. boated two largemouths 13"-15" on a zoom worm carolina rigged. Couldn't ind much more in the main body, so we headed up the river and got into the ish the rest o the day. We stopped on a couple o vertical walls and slammed about 7 on spilt shotted zoom worms and deep diving cranks. We went arther up river and basically just ished the deep walls and ended up catching about 20 more ish to about 3lbs just split shotting worms and power craws. Total on the day was about 30 ish, more Largemouths then Smallies and no big ones, but still a good day with most o our ish ranging between 13-17 inches.
City: DublinTips: Fish light line. The visibility in the areas we ished was at least 20t with polarized glasses. Don't spook em'!!!

Water Temp: ?
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Hit the lake with my wie, son(6) and daughter(3) on our 21 oot iberorm. Not exactly a state o the art bass boat, but I get parelell with the shoreline in the river arm & the breeze moves us just right. I was using a 6 inch magic worm ,splitshotted on 4 pound test on a ultra, ultra light.First ish was a 19 inch smallie ull o eggs & about 4 pounds that my son reeled in.We snapped a pic and set her ree. Then my daughter reeled in a couple 12 inch smallies. We then trolled up the river arm, caught a 11 inch rainbow. We then tied up to the log jam and threw out power bait to see i the kids could get some more trout. No takers. So I went back to the worm & hung a nice largemouth. She jumped once then started taking drag. I told my wie to take over the boat and chase the ish so I wouldnt run outa line.Soon this ish wraps itsel around a sunken branch. We had to go back And orth a ew times,& I couldnt ree her. Finally I give the rod to the wie & start pulling in the ish & stick by hand. Finally got her in the boat-21 inches & VERY ull o eggs! Took some pics & set her ree.Man I cant beleive how good that lourocarbon P-line is.Great day on the water, saw lots o deer & turkeys too.
City: MantecaTips: Fish the river arm with plastics on very light line. Can see the bottom in 20 oot depth.PS dont tell all the trouters how good the bassin is at this lake, I almost always have the shoreline to my sel!LOL

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished a team club tourment on saturday. The smallies were bedding on pea gravel banks in the back o coves up river and on the main lake. The bite was great or big ish we landed over 15 keeper with a nice limit o 15 1/2 pounds thought we were doing great until we weight in and only took 5th with the winning weight just under 20 pounds. This lake is getting better by the year. One o the best smallmouth & largemouth lake in caliornia. Week beore had 3 smallies over 4 pounds each.
City: StknTips: Fish in the back o deep coves but close to shore water so clear you can see the ish but they can see you to so you need to stay back. All on plastic worns and paddle tail grubs.Good ishing

Report: Started on a cool and windy day in the south end. Only one ish on topwater until the sun came up. Went way upriver to the log boom and caught 5 more on topwater and grubs. Fish were very close to rock piles. Switched to craw crankbait and third cast had a 2.5lb smallie that elt like a rock it hit so hard. I caught one more smallie on the crank beore calling it a day. This was my irst outing on Pardee or bass. The ish had no size except the one smallie. The lake closes at the end o the month.
City: El Dorado HillsTips: topwater irst thing then S---L---O---W way down with grubs and such. Then switch to crankbaits mid day. concentrate on dropos and structure.

Water Temp: 75
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I started early and took a dozen small to medium largemouths an smallies on a Heddon Tiny torpedo at the mouth o the river. They were on the lats near the mouth o the river and hit the lure as soon as it hit the water. The bite lasted less than hal an hour and then like someone threw a switch-it was over. I couldn't buy a topwater hit. Over the next ew hours caught several nice smallies on Berkley Frenzy crankbait. All-in-all a good day.
City: PleasantonTips: topwater early seems to be hot. Crankin at 10/12 oot depths seemed to work also.

Water Temp: 77
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Flew down or the weekend to ish with my dad. Launched just beore 6:00. Threw topwater in south end o lake - couldn't get it going. First ish (smallie) wasn't in the boat at 7:30 o a main lake point split shotting a micro-weenie. Caught a ew others in the same area (one smallie, the rest largemouth) or the next hour or so, then we went up river. Started ishing rock walls with some success. The good thing about 20' visibility is that you can see great rock structures down in the water - and that was the ticket today. All told, we boated about 20 ish between the two o us, the biggest being a 2.5 largemouth.
City: Portland, ORTips: There is no "bite." I you eel weight, set the hook. Like earlier posts, use 6 lb test!! I also had pretty good success dartheading 4" robo inesse worms.

Water Temp: cold
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: The lake was way down; at least 15eet. And it was very windy so ishing out o my 14t aluminum was tough. Tried the irst point o the main lake at the River arm. Marked a bunch o ish and had a big smallie ollow my spinnerbait. He saw me about the same time I saw him; I killed the bait but he swam away. Nothing much ater that. Tried 4" worms split shot. Pitched some small jigs. Nada. Too windy. Saw lots o people catching trout. Rainbow powerbait, they said.
City: San MateoTips: Recent rains may help. Look or them beginning to stage. Be worth a look when the rains or spring thaw get the wateralls going.

Report: Interesting morning. Put in right ater a club tourney. Figured that they might beat me to my avorite waters, but gave it a shot. Top water on a hump picked up my irst, a 2 lb smallie. At the island, had a 7+ blow up at my topwater, and miss! They rest o the morning I would hit a spot with: 1. Carolina rigged black/chart worm 2. orange on brown jig 3. junebug slider 4. orange and green mini tube.Had to keep switching, becuase i had no pattern. 7 hooked, 5 landed.
City: SacramentoTips: Seemed mostly on the points, but caught two in the back o coves. Switch up on the lures. Top water only got hit on the irst cast in a spot.

Water Temp: 78-82
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Always Bump into a partern on this lake but only had 6 hrs to igure this lake out so I.... Started the the normal lure, TOP WATER with a popper. Did I mention I was getting on the lake at 1:30PM, normaly a bad time or this lake unless its wide open but it wasn't. Many guys getting o the lake, probably going to Amador, and all saying it was tought. Wasn't to excited about that but here I am. So topwater wasn't going. I switched to the arm section on the deep walls looking or the "Big Boulders". Tried a swim bait and in about ive minutes ound a trio o boulders and tossed it past them swam it by and wamo a 4.5#er. Cool that took all o an hour to get one bite.I wanted to get BIT so I went into one o the creeks looking or some ish to play with. They were all small but they wanted a jig over everything(including senkos, I'm a senko believer). I desided to go to a northern sec o the lake. Good choice. Found them everywhere but know takers even with the watermellon dipped senkos. Jig on 8# line was all I could catch them on with any kind o regularity. Managed another 5 better sized ish( all Lg.mouth). Missed a nice smallmouth as it threw my jig a mile.
City: Mountain ViewTips: This lake is receiving plenty o attention rom the locals or good reason. The bite should be great during the weekdays. Sunday was an expected tough bite but with patience and covering as much water as possible you can ind the giants in this lake. Made the mistake o not throwing a spoon. Oh well. cv
