Report: Well,It was pretty good, we were catching alot o ish o an old bait in the box called a "crazy Shad". I used silver and black, my partner used gold and black. Both worked exceptionally well. We caugt a total o 23 ish and 3 o the bunch were 7 pounds or better. The largest weighed in at nice 11 lbs 14 ozs. All ish were released and it was a real good day. Alot o ish working the surace, all the people we talked to were ishing worms texas rig. They were not catching that many. We were even realing them in around a ew olks. They saw us catching ish and they come right up on us where we were ishing. I know back in Texas that will cause alot o problems. But we laughed as we caught 5 ish right in ront o them. It was a great day or using top water well "crazy shad".
    City: San Marcos

Tips: I you don't have 3 or 4 crazy shad lures in your box. You can also try a tiny torpedo, anything with a blade on it. Just rake it across the surace with a 4 second hesitation.Usally the ish will nail when the ripples settle around the bait.

Report: I ish Perris a lot,The best colors or me is Smoke,Purple or Green lake w/brown body worms. Fish the point areas by boat or shore. Stick to the structure areas. I you don't catch anything sometimes really small worms work best. Change up your colors to ind what works best. Drop shot works well when there is a lot o weeds drop it in the holes between the weeds. iteen to 35 t deep is a good depth. When walking the shore be patient and slow when reeling you worm in. I have caught over 6 pounders with this combo oten.

Really good spinnerbait conditions, (slightly overcast, slight breeze, with a good chop on the water) and came up empty. At noon started drop shottin 4" aaron's magic curltail near east point o the marina. Landed (4) around the 2 lb range in about 30 minutes. Fish were in the 20-23 t range, right where the rocks stop and the sand started. Well called it a day ater that due to other obligations (the wie), however the ish were deinitely eeding.

Report: Well, I'm new to ishing this lake. Went out 3 times this week, caught 6 ish total. I was doing mostly site ishing even thought it seems as i it's time to move out to the deeper water. As i said, doing some site ishing I spotted one o the larger ish I've seem still near the bank on the other side o the lake across rom the island. I spent 2 good hours lipping a grub in one o the last bedded ish. The ish weighed in at 5 pounds 4 ounces, once I inally got it in the boat, it spit my hook three times and bent my hook once. The ith time I got her. Anyway, it looks like deeper water is in the bass ishing uture or me, i anyone has any tips I'd love to hear rom you. Good luck.

Report: My husband and I went out around 6pm by the water slides. Worked that whole point. He was able to catch the 1st one about 2 1/2 lbs on a Brown Craw-Kicker worm. Then about hour and hal later when the sun was going down he and I were able to watch a lot o nice 6 to 10 lbs bass just jumpin' and chasing trout. Than I was able to catch my 1st about 2lbs on a Aarons Magic-Kicker worm, that pretty much wrapped up our ishing or the night. The weather was great and the ish were there, but when your ishing rom the bank it just seems as i the ish know and stay just ar enough out where you wish you had a boat..... grrrr... but anyway we had a great time and thats what counts and he did not kick my ass... lol... we broke even with one a piece.. happy bassin'
