    Water Temp: unnown; felt li

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Clocked a day from 7-12 on Piru today. Good weather conditions, a bit cool in the mornings. Low fog that burned off by 8 or so. Overall, kinda of a dink fest! Ended up with 7 on ripbaits, blades, and dropshot. Largest about a pound in size. Probably better fish in deeper water.
    City: Pearblossom

Tips: Fish topwater early right now! As the sun gets higher, the fish move deeper, so go with a ripbait or deep cranks till 9 or so. Then fish jigs, dopshot, worms, etc. in 15-30 feet of water. Samller fish in the shallows early, and better fish will be on structure out deeper.

    Water Temp: 56

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fishing was slow, fish are 30-35 feet. We caught our fish on Robo,s (Bold Blue Gill)throwing out towards deep water and bringing our worm uphill. Lake has lot's of debris. North end still has a mess. Need to be careful!due to debris everywhere. I was a little disappointed that you can't go al the way up the river channel like in recent years due to lots of silt that has come down the river. Rest of the lake is full. I think once the weather starts to turn nice the fishing should kick into high gear.
    City: Moorpark,Ca 93021

Tips: Throws jigs, orange color crank baits, Bold Blue Gill, fish slow

    Has anyone been there latley?
Are the fish still eating on the late fall shad balls or are they on a trout bite with the winter stockings being underway?
Oooooooor, have they begun to munch on the crawdads? If anyone has been there recently, Please drop me a line so that I can clue in and gear up accordingly for my long awaited trip.

    Water Temp: 76

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Water is still very warm. Caught a 2 pounder on a spinnerbait at 9 am. 9:45 tossed a buzz bait over a sumberged tree and missed a 2-3 pounder (should've had a trailer hook). Water was calm until 11am and it got choppy as it usually does around noon. Kept reeling in dinks all day. Went to the very north end of the lake where it's all cat tails and weeds in about 2-3 feet of water. Had to pull up the trolling motor and paddle my way through in a couple of spots. I saw 2 4-5 pounders cruising around in there but was unable to catch any of em. Decided to stay until dark and trolled around the marine docks. Hooked into a 5 pounder(at least)from under one of the docks on a crankbait. Darn thing tossed my lure and got away! Going back in two days.
    City: Ventura

    Tips: Bring a lunch.
