    Water Temp: 78

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Partner and I landed 5 keepers, lost 1 at the boat after fishing all day. Caught about 15 mini-dinks on topwater in the vegetation which is all around the lake. Lake at 50% capacity, but launching was no problem off cement.
    City: Long Beach

Tips: Brown crankbaits in 15-20ft right in the middle of the coves worked best and a purple worm produced. Grass line was at 20ft. No pattern. Tough bite overall. Where are all the keepers?

    Water Temp: 76

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I've been fishing the lake consistently 2-3 times during the week. Each time I usually catch 15-25 bass which are fairly small. I've been catching the bigger ones on the west side of the lake in 10 feet of water or less. 3/8 oz. spinnerbait, 4inch Yozuri minnow, and shad rap have been working very well. It's been really hot and the bigger ones aren't really biting, however I did manage to catch a 7 1/2 lb bass on the west side of the lake over a rocky point.
    City: Ventura

Tips: Fish early in the morning or the last couple of hours before the sun goes down. During the hours of 5-7 PM they really start hitting. If you want to fish during the day when it's hot, you could always break out the plastic worms. --

Report: Fished Piru today or the irst time in serveral months. I was surprised at how low the water still is. Fished with my sister out o her Bass Cat. Got on the water about 6:45 with the intent o catching some jig&pig ish. Unorturnately ater an hour and no bites my sister picks up her drop shot rod and immediately gets slams but misses the ish. I inally decide to give up the jig and grab my drop shot rod and bammo!! she hooks into a ish. A ew minutes later she lands a at, egg laden 10 lb. 11oz. lunker. We immediately take it over to the marina to be photographed so we can re-release where she caught it.Turned out to be another drop shot day as ater returning the ish where she caught we proceed to catch more ish on the drop shot, although the next largest only being 3 lbs or so. Our best 5 ish would have went about 18 lbs.
    City: Paradise

Tips: Drop shot on the old water lines in about 15-20 eet o water. Pull your bait uphill till you hit the break, shake it lightly and then let it drop back to the bottom, then hold on.

Report: Decide to post because no one has posted anything or this lake in many months. Decide to go to Piru ater we got turned away rom the Castaic Lower lake because o the Love Ride. So we went to Piru yesterday and threw the big swimbaits but no bites or ollowers. Started to spoon in 40-60t o water ater metering alot o ish down deep. My buddy "No Fish Loppy" caught 1 in 40 and I caught 1 in 66t on spoons. Then later in the aternoon I caught one more shaking salt and pepper worms in 35t o water. Both o my ish had to be needled to release the air in their air bladders. Keep both ish in the live well or the day to make sure that they would be ine or releasing. Both ish swam away to ight another day.
