Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out to Quarry last weds and got skunked. Lost one five feet from shore at my secret spot. Got three bites, hooked one, the other two were just tap and go. I fished my spot the last two hours and got hits from there only. Some people were there when I got there so we fished the peninsula. Way too shallow. Baits used were worms and powerbait. All bites came on worms.
    City: Fremont

Tips: Long leader, and find a good drop off. The fish are deep, really deep. Try an inflated worm or some powerbait on a small treble hook. The smaller the better, just barely cover the hook. Don't fish peninsula, trust me way too shallow and a long walk. Try right across from it, saw people catch some trout. Also cast far, try different lengths to see where the fish are. The leader length that got me the bites was about 15 inches or so. Fish early and late.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out in the thick FOG to throw some top waters just for fun and a small 1 1/2 pounder smashed my popper around 630 am stuck with spooks popper but no more fish. Met two guys that were throwin reaction baits and far as i know they didn't hook up when i was there ( hopfully after i left they did ) they were walton's pond frequent visitors so we chatted it up a bit. I was in such a hurry didn't get either of their names but nice to meet ya fellas hope to see ya again on the water !! - Lancer
    City: Fremont

Tips: try slower baits ?? worms ?? i was just there to practice. Seemed like the water was rising a little bit but i'm not sure!

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Started today at 9:45 am with my daughter on fishermans row. Left at 2:00 pm with 4 trout. We were the only ones who really had luck.
All were caught on chartruse power bait with glitter. I've been noticing i've been catching more males.
    City: Union City

Tips: Smaller the ball of power bait the more attention its been getting. Barely cover the hook. I dont know if it really had a factor but it seemed to get bit more often.

    Water Temp: 63

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the water at 8am. Weather was sunny, light breeze. No bites on senkos, lizards, or spinners. Gail force winds hit the lake at about 11am. Took about an hour to troll/row back to the dock. Maybe the rains the day before affected the bite. Saw bank fishermen landing trout. Bass were on lockdown.
    City: Union City

Tips: Do your boat/trailer maintanance during the off season, not the morning of the fishing trip. Should have been on the water at 6am. Not sure if it would of helped, but you never know.

Report: I'm thinking of heading out to Quarry Lakes for the first time. I plan on bass fishing but I can't seem to find much info on the lakes. Maybe someone could help me out. Do both lakes hold bass or does just one of them? Do they allow float tubes? What are the depth changes and is there a main creek channel that runs through them? The main one I would like to know is which lakes hold bass. Thanks!
