Report: Fished rom 7:30am to 11:00am, I caught onlyone 13-inch trout around 10:00am using yellowPowerEggs. Yes, I have to pay $8 or parkingand ishing permit, but I don't mind, I'mhaving un with or without ish being caught.I heard a lot o people with this kind oslogan: - "Why don't you just go to the marketand buy ish?" These people with such sloganare NOT REALLY A FISHERMAN. Buying ish in amarket is totally dierent eeling vs ishingon the lake. Fishing on a lake is sport, youhave to spend money. I you care so much aboutmoney, then just eat chicken, cheaper than ish!

Report: A lot o locals in the area can't tell the dierence between a trout or a bass. And even i they could, they're going to eat it. It's just the way they're raised. Most o the locals are rom the philippines, and there, they eat what they catch. Even i it's a small little bluegill. It's a city lake. That's what you'll see. I you want bigger bass, try the central valley lakes or the delta. All I ever get out o here are a ew trout here and there with my two sons. I did get lucky and caught a dink on a 7" brown worm. O course I threw her back.

Report: These lakes still remain best or trout ater ishing here or months or bass with many techniques that i have learned rom proessional anglers these lakes have ar less to oer than the other lakes like chabot, laeyette pablo shadow clis or del valle a ew good ones rom horshoe lake but other than that the lakes themselves oer little to no cover and the area is too small. one lake is closed to ishing entirely and it still is poor to ishing structure and yeild o bass. It is no dierent here than shin pond basically. i have a contact through the park district that says trout is all they plan to keep up in the lakes maybe catish in the summer so good luck all the trout isherman. Fellow bass anglers i will meet you at one o the other lakes possibly soon. good luck - teach
