Report: We ished Shasta this past weekend and had consistent results or the 3 days we were there. Two o us averaged about 30 bass each day with a mix o spots, largemouth and smallmouth. Dark colored plastics and jigs on rocky points did the trick. While not every point held ish, the ones that did usually held good numbers. We were able to pull multiple ish o o every point that we ound ish on. They were out o o the shore in about 20 eet o water. They ranged in size rom dinks to about 3 pounds. We ished the McCloud arm and the Pitt arm, with the Pitt being better by ar.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Small dark colored plastics on rocky points is the key. Drag them slowly along the bottom and you will surely ind ish.

I send him up stream where I was and decide to head bck in to get the rod replaced as Big Daddy is coming monday and I will be out again. I stop at Strictly Fishing and show Gary the rod and he asks i I am sure I didn't bend it over and snap it o. He won't replace it o his rack and wants to send it in to berkley meaning a 4-6 week wait, I get upset and leave telling him he can keep it. I ain't going back there anymore, bought 5 reels and a handul o rods plus a bunch o MGM stu and salmon stu since I moved here, but never again. out at 245 pm, airtemp up to 68, water at the ramp to 54, upper McCloud at 52 degrees. didn't see any cruisers today, the pit(lower) and lower squaw creek is a little warmer.
