Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Happy Easter! Fished Yorty again. Weather was extreme! Gusts of wind knocking branches off of trees to hail storms to sunshine...all within 2 hours of me being there. Caught one small 1.5er. Drop shot rig again with a white slugo with black speckles. Fish are hanging tight next to submerged debris. I am guessing with the week forecast fishing should start picking up.

Water Temp: probably shrink
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: I thought there was a tournament on Sat. What happened no one showed or was it cancelled? This Gene Cardle posted a fake email. tried to get him to post results & it came back unknown. I was planning on going today 3/27/06, but, with all the rain & cold air, probably nothing has changed since I was up last. Calif is wet, up in the praries of Canada is so dry, they're not planting this year if it doesn't rain. Poor Canada.

Water Temp: 52.5
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Started out about 8 am in yorty creek. Sky was overcast and light rain was off and on. After about 10 minutes hooked a 4.0lb bass drop shotting a worm. 20 minutes latter my boat buddy landed a 3.0 lb bass. No more luck until about 2 pm on a large yorty creek submerged point, we got three more in about 15 minutes near drop off. Bass were all almost white but had guts on them so they are eating. 5 fish for 14 lbs nothing under 2 lbs, not too bad on a cold winter day.
City: FremontTips: My partner hard some good hits from the fish he caught, my were all pressure. When in doubt set the hook.

Water Temp: 56
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Tuesday 2/7. Ran up to Yorty @ 8:00am and started flipping black/blue persuader jig with black/ blue flake hula grub trailer at holes in the bank with some wood nearby on northeast shore, slow hopping it back to the boat. Missed a couple of bites, then got one on as I was reeling up to make another toss. He wanted none of it, dove under the boat and tossed the jig. Ouch! That was the pattern, though. Kept on going down past rustler, got four in the boat, all pale winter fish, all about 11/2-2 lbs. Stay out as far as you can and turn off the flasher, use the trolling motor as little as possible. Fish are spooky, even in that pea soup. Bite turned off early, about 10:00am. Went back again on Wednesday and got SKUNKED. Tried t-rigged worms, dead sticked senkos, cranked, ripped, nothin'. Lake Sonoma Lockjaw. Like Vegas, you win once and you think your gonna hit it every time!

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: The Sonoma County Belly Boat BASS Club kicked of their 2006 season opener at Lake Sonoma last Saturday at the Yorte Creek launch out of Cloverdale.
27 anglers braved the rains and weather to make check in Cloverdale, some from as far as San Jose and even Auburn. At launch these brave anglers were greeted with extremely tough conditions however the rain stopped and the day itself turned out to be beautiful, weather wise.
Only 19 BASS were brought to the scales and it only took 2 bass to win it all! Todd Iwamoto from San Jose was back to show why he has 4 out of the last 5 Angler of the Year trophy's sitting at home. On a tough day Todd was able to entice 2 nice bass to take his custom made jig and that's all he needed to claim not only the 1st place position but also the day

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: got on the water at about 1230. half a dozen other fishing boat trailers in the parking lot. saw only one other fisherman in the dry creek arm, other must have been on the other arm. fished 12 to 40 ft. deep. fished the first breaks on points and several rocky humps. used grubs, jigs, and drop shot. no bites. cranked the dam from 330 to 430. nothing. sunny and crisp day on the water, so I still had fun, but i'm beginning to wonder what it takes to bag some bass on this lake in the winter!?!
Tips: try not to get skunked. it doesn't feel good.
