Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

    Report: Same old thing

Tips: Fish slow. If you burn more than 2 quarts of fuel you have moved to far from the ramp. Green six inch worms are the hot item. Jigging, what some very new rookies call

Report: Started off by heading up Yorty, Water still pretty muddy. My buddy and I threw spinnerbaits , jigs , and watermelon plastic to no avail, Landed our first fish around 11:30 am on a Root beer senko in less than 10 feet along the tree off the main lake. Went up to Mountain Spring and started to pull fish off wood in 5-10 feet. Caught 6 on Senkos and brown jig with purple trailer. Around 3pm, my buddy nailed a nice 5lb on a natrual color yum worm that was tight to the bank. Caught a couple dinks on plastic worm and reapers. All fish were tight to the bank along any type of rock.

Report: Fished Sunday from 7:30 to 3:00, Fished up Yorty and Cherry early, got nothin, located fished on the X-135, but could'nt get the to bite. Fished main lake, nothin, still muddy everywhere. At the end of the day went up warm springs and started throwing a brush hog right up on the shoreline, picked off 3 fish, a dink, 2.5 lber and a nice 5lb female. All fish were still white which means they had just come up from deeper water to feed. That 5 lber was a good fight, took some pics and let her go. Anyday and this lake is going to blow up, be ready for some hot fishing.

    Water Temp: 51

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: got on the water on fri at 9am with my friend. we drove up to warm springs expecting tons of easy fish from all the reports on how good it was. well, we threw spinnerbaits all day all over standing timber. nothin. we saw other boats out there saying they wearnt getting anything. so i met this one guy saying he caught 5 on jigs off main points, so i tried a baby brush hog, and got one nice small mouth bass, didnt know there were small mouth in there. so that was it. it was a perfect day so whatever.

Tips: i guess the water level is dropping from the lake being drained, so once it levels out and warms up, it should break lose. clear lakes the best bet now. catch and release only

Report: Launched at sunup and pulled out at noon. Weather was perect all day long

Tips: Fish slow. I burned lest than one gallon o gassoline. Use dark colors - I used dark green (my Grey Ghost). The very sot outished my irmer baits. The very small six inch worms worked better than my larger worms - not sure why.

Report: Today we went out with my ishing buddy, Kevin and his ishing riend, Russ. Morning was really cold but the day turned nice. Kevin and Russ know Sonoma well and put me on ish. I caught a couple o keepers early in the day thanks to my "guide" Kevin. I keep telling him that when he's the guide, he doesn't have to catch any ish, but he is not convinced and wants to catch a lot o ish too! Guess that's why we need our ishing buddies to keep some rivalry and competition in the mix. I caught some ish with a Yamamoto Hula Grub and others with my "secret" lure (sorry guys, its too new to share). Fish are holding between 10' and 20' o points with a sharp drop o. Check out the points and you can catch them i you ish very slo-o-o-wly!Good ishing!Ciau

Report: The Contra Costa Bass Club had their TOC Today. Although most o the members have little experence with this lake it was a nice change. The bite was tough or most o us with just 2 limits or 20 guys. The key was to ind the rock and wood in 20-45 t. Most bites came on jigs and a majority o the ish were biting green type baits, (ie. watermellon, greenpumpkin). For some reason our winner said that i he ished with brown in his jigs or spider grubs he didn't get bit.

Report: Fished sonoma rom sun up til noon only one small keeper. Wierd thing was i was at my little honey hole right as the sun broke the water and the bass went on a crazy top water buet. This time o year I had no top water in the boat but i threw out my blade and hooked up instantly and lost a ew others. With the water temp at 49 I've never seen a top water bite in eb. I thought maybe trout until i started hooking into them. I don't know you tell me. The visibility is unreal also, I think we are going to have a great spawn.

    Water Temp: cold

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: All you need to throw up there is a jig and pork. I caught some nice ish using the jig. All were caught shallow. No more than 15 eet. My 5 best ish weighed in at about 22lbs(7,5,4.5,3,3). All caught on or near wood. I you ind one, there should be more. Be patient and ish that jig really slow. You can't beat a jig this time o year whether it's sunny or cloudy. The best part about it(the jig) is that you can eliminate all those other rods and know you're gonna get quality ish with the jig. One rod and one bait. I love it. D.B.COOPER
    City: Petaluma

Tips: 1/2oz brown and orange Skinny Bear Bass jig(ootball head) with brown Super Pork(senior). You need to slow down and get it in your head that you are looking or quality bites. At some point during the day you're gonna run into them and get hammered just like I did. Don't give up on the jig. Thank you Scott Green. D.B.COOPER
