Report: On the water at 6:05am. First cast produced a nice 1 1/2 bass, and a ew ater that another one about the same size.We caught 11 ish, the best came on a carolina rigged5" grub, a nice 4.6lb. emale. The only setback was thewind that kicked up about 8 o'clock and didn't quit allday. Saw a couple o bald eagles, and an osprey do it'sdive into the water or a ish, but he missed it. Alsosaw a nice buck in velvet. It was a nice day.
City: SebastopolTips: catching ish is not the only reason to go up to the lake.I you look around you can see a lot more o what natureis all about. Oh yeah', as the bass ollow the shad it'sa good Idea to use an imitation o them, and one o thebest is the grub in compatible colors to imitate the shad.

Big ish wasabout 4.6 lb. Average weight per bass was about 1.6 lb. Fish went or crankbaits, spinnerbaits, lukes, & carolina-rigged sot plastics. Water was still green but has cleared considerably. Watertemp was 57 F in AM, warming to 61 F by 3 PM (colder than expected, possibly due to wind theprevious ew days?).
City: Santa RosaTips: *** Float Tubers/Kick Boaters: Consider joining us or upcoming events. We next ish LakeIlsanjo (a hike-in lake in Annadel State Park) on Sunday, May 23. Our next meeting is Wednesday,May 5 @ 7 PM @ Coddingtown Round Table Pizza in Santa Rosa. E-mail me or more details. ***

Water Temp: 61 - 64
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: A pretty nice day, although there were people on thewater that could use some instructions on boating rules. We caught ish on carolina rigs with grubs and lizards. Some ish on shallow crankbaits, and a couple on splitshot worms. Best ish was 2.9lbs, a pretty at emale. We ished the Dry Creek area in the upper reaches, andconcentrated on the shallow lats next to deep water.Oh yeah, you should have seen these three guys, onjet ski's that came zooming thru the tree's 40 eet romwhere we were ishing, those guy's should be conined todry land.
City: SebastopolTips: Now that it is spawning season it is important to takeextra care when you catch a emale bass, especially ishe is loaded with eggs. I you catch a trophy you don'thave to kill her. Weigh, measure, and i possible takea picture and have a replica made o your trophy.Remember, your not killing just one ish but thousands. The average emale bass 4lbs. and up will have 20,000 to70,000 eggs. Practice CPR (catch, photograph, release)

Water Temp: n/a
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Went out around 4pm and made our way to some coves in the main body. Fished the brush piles with brouwn and orange jigs, we hooked u with 2 ish about 3#. Then we went up to skunk and made our way through some thick brush. We cought a 3.5# on a white spinnerbait and managed 2 more ish, both were 4# on the jig. Looks like the ish are up in the deeper brush piles.
City: santa rosaTips: Use 1/4oz. brown and orange jig with a brown twin tail to give it some vibration. The ish hit them hard, so be ready to set the hook. Find the isolated brush piles with repeated casts. Might try spinnerbaits, most came rom the coves.
